Well they were supposed to be here last Friday and no call no show. During our phone conversation where I was pretty much berated by the project manager and NEVER given an apology for the shoddy work, I was reminded of how much they helped me out (they gave me two pins for free) and that my review was destroying their reputation. Mind you all payments were made on time and in full so they were more than compensated for their "help". It's really disappointing to have this type of outcome because the 2 crew members did a great job! The faulty railing was installed in fact by the project manager who was eager to wrap up for the day. So here's my update. No need for any further communication about this unfinished work. I'll spend my dollars with a more customer focused company who finishes what they started.

Upon further investigating the issue it turned out that the extent of the damage was greater than appeared on the surface as the post had completely rotted through, the wall had pulled away from the deck and the foundation underneath had crumbled. Despite the amount of work involved, John remained honest and fair as he provided me with several options and worked with me and my budget to get the best result possible to meet both my expectations as well as his high standard of quality.
