Professional, friendly and local. I imagine many of the NorthDale and Carrollwood neighbors utilize this pharmacy. This was my first visit to this pharmacy but I will be returning. I did notice they are closed Saturday and Sundays which could be a deterrent for some but otherwise I think this is a great option. read more

There is nothing negative I can say about this pharmacy. A++ service and super professional as well as friendly. They don't carry much in the store but I will definately get all my scripts filled here even though I live 20 minutes away. I called because my son has a medication that is usually not carried by pharmacies and usually has to be ordered. They said they could order it if I brought in the script, when I was there luckily ... they had the medication already in stock!!! Great experience... read more

On February 8, 2012 I visited Northdale Pharmacy for the first time, based on a recommendation from a friend. And, although the trip to the pharmacy was over 20 miles, I'm so grateful that I made the effort to visit them. From the moment I walked into the their office, I was greeted by staff with warm smiles and solid eye contact. Clearly they were busy, but no so entrenched in their work to take time and provide a courteous welcome. As the pharmacist knew this was my first visit, he came from behind the counter to shake my hand and let me know how much he appreciated my visit. As someone who works in customer service, I knew that Dr. Avinash Sharma and his crew had one incredible operation here. As my prescriptions were being filled, I sat and listened to the staff greet each customer by their name. Folks, if you want a customer service experience that you will soon not forget, please make a point to visit Northdale Pharmacy. It's worth the trip. I have known Avinash, since he worked on Fletcher Ave, almost 20 years ago, for one of the major pharmacy companies. He then moved to a store on N. Dale Mabry. He was my one of my mother's pharmacists and she had a tremendous list of prescriptions. He knew her by name and always demonstrated care concern for her. When he left the corporate world and began his local, small business, I saw him at a local store one day. He recognized me and asked about my mother. At that point, I only new him as a familiar face, that in that moment, I realized his absence from the main pharmacy we typically picked up my mom's prescriptions from and in that meeting, I learned he started his own venture. I moved our business over to his store and have worked with him ever since. He knows my family and has met our needs in some amazing personal ways that I know BIG business would have never considered doing. His whole staff treat me, and our family, with compassion and kindness during difficult seasons of illness and life and listen to my stories beyond things related to my prescription needs. I feel like I live in small town America, where I'm treated like a person, not a number or an insurance claim number... I've literally brought guests visiting from out of town to me 'meet my pharmacist' because of how fantastic I think the experience is just walking into this store. I have known Avinash for over 25 years when he work for a chain store. When he opened his own Pharmacy I had no doubt where I was going to go to fill my prescriptions. Avinash hired the most awesome staff!!! Each one of them are very professional and so personal, my son gets to excited to go there to each one of them. I have an Adult child that is very medically involved and has special needs. They treat him with so much understanding and so much respect! One time when we were on our way home from being in the hospital for 4 months I needed to pick up a few scripts but my son was so weak there was no way I could leave him in the car and go in to get his meds. I called them that I was on my way and David brought the meds out to my car along with a bottle of water for the ride home. There was another time we were in Ohio and had to extent our stay but ran out of my sons meds. I called Avinash in a panic and he had his meds sent over night so we didn't miss one dose of his seizure meds. Northdale Pharmacy is not just a fill your script and go they really care about your health with so much personal service and compassion. Anytime I post something on FB and I mention Northdale Pharmacy so many of my friends say I use them and love them!
