This Walgreens is not very good, it wasn't stocked very well & did not have what I needed. I came in looking for a pedicure tool & they didn't have the one I usually purchase so I bought a kit, the last one they had, that had multiple tools inside with a mini version of the one I needed. So I just purchased that one only to get back to my hotel to find it was broken when I opened the package. Ugh. Won't return. read more

Came here to pick up my hub's prescription since this was the only location around that had the eye drops in stock. Called ahead to ensure they'd be ready and the pharmacist said they'd be ready within 30 minutes. By the time we got there, there was only 1 car in line. Hopped in the drive thru line and got the prescription easy peasy. Pharmacist was very friendly and helped with the cost of insurance versus the Rx discount. I bought a $250 Apple Card I spoke with the person that sold it to me and spoke with the female manager. They told me bring the cards in. This has got to be the worst Walgreens period. I had prescriptions called in at three in the afternoon I kept checking to see if they were ready to be picked up. At 8:30 that evening, oh this was Tuesday august 2,2022, I was told by the pharmacist that he was overwhelmed and couldn't get my prescriptions ready. Why after five hours can't you get the prescriptions ready??? I had them sent to cvs who immediately filled them for me. One was very important as it was an antibiotic that my doctor wanted me to take immediately. There really is no good reason snd when I called to inquire I was treated very nasty and hung up on. I use to love coming to this neighbor hood Walgreens for many years to fetch drugs at odd hours. Convenient to all of the hotels in the area, beside Westshore mall and on the way to Tampa International Airport for last minute purchases. 3/5 bcoz of rude staff, they will keep you waiting after tackling the long lines (occasionally). I must admit, the only reason I'm writing this review is because a saucy looking woman shows up as the main photo for this location, versus something like the Walgreen's sign, some pills, or some TP. This is one of the larger Walgreen's locations I've ever been in and you find all the typical Walgreen's items. Walk around long enough and you'll end up with a Hallmark card, some bags of candy, a deodorant, a Faith Hill greatest hits CD, some dog treats, a half gallon of Mint-Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, and a Duck Dynasty Chia pet in your cart. (Just an example, this isn't what my cart looks like, seriously. No, seriously. Although I do love me some Faith Hill and mint chocolate chip). As with any Walgreen's the items in here can come at a "convenience premium," but the fact that this location is open 24 hours can get you out of a bind if you forgot a birthday or are needing some Pedialyte at 3am. The store is clean, and well laid out, the shelves are always stocked and the pharmacy staff is helpful. Parking is less than idea as you only have a single sharp turn entrance on JFK, or a larger entrance/ exit on Dale Mabry. read more

I tried to fill a prescription for my wife that was operated on about 30 min prior and she needed her medication. 3651 west kennedy in Tampa Florida. The pharmacist assistant female proceeds to ask many question about which bio spine (where surgery was performed) and I tell her the closest one as I am not from Tampa area. She tells me I have an attitude and I tell her I'm not from here and don't know the area. She hands my prescription to an older gentleman who then tells me I need my wife's ID and I feel I was treated like I was a criminal because of one of the prescriptions was for Oxycodone. I have never ever been treated this way before and I was humiliated in front of customers. I am an honorably retired member of the military and I assure you I don't break the law or abuse drugs. I proceeded to leave the establishment and went to another Walgreens at 3518 Henderson Blvd in Tampa and I was treated much differently as these people where professionals throughout the entire ordeal and I produced my ID and I told him what happened at the other Walgreens and he said all He has to do is scan my Id and put that I am her husband and the prescription was in her name. This whole ordeal caused me to have to drive throughout this town in which I don't live in to find another Walgreens and leave my wife alone and not able to get up or move on her own I was very disappointed and embarrassed by the way I was treated and surely hope this is not how corporate thinks things should be done read more

I would never come here unless it's an emergency on needing a medicine since it's close to where I live. I think the cashier was scanning the coupons wrong barcode and when he asked his black curly haired supervisor, her petty reason was that the photo is blurry (when the important information like the barcode, barcode number, expiration date, verify coupon legit number are all printed legibly). Excuse me that not all printers are laser print. What grind my gears about what happened today was the BS "make up your own policy" reason that the picture (but not the description and all other important information) is not printed sharply. Although this store is convenient, it's once you walk inside those doors that you'll realize you should've just gone to the CVS down the street. This is the second time in two months I have come here needing to buy balloons and have them blown up. And the second time where I waited for 20 minutes before they told me "they just need to switch out the tanks, it shouldn't be too much longer". My final and last visit here will be this one. My doctor send the script they said they didn't receive it. I confirmed it was sent. Walgreens told me they would fill it ASAP when the received it. Again, in the interest of making chain pharmacy reviews more interesting, did you know you can get passport photos taken and developed while you wait at Walgreens? I needed the infamous 2x2 mug shots for an application, and who knew? The guy game out from behind the counter with a digital camera, pulled down a white screen from the ceiling and had me stand in front of it, snapped a digital picture, and said "I'll be right back." The guy working here doesn't care about patients at all. I am standing there at 845 and they were doing something in the back. I love Walgreens and would drive before I go to CVS, this location not so much. It sits in a corner of two very busy intersections and easy to miss the Kennedy entrance by Taco Bell. For the location it's a very dated store and in need of a renovation but it's large and with descent amount of parking. If you are looking for Halloween items there two full isles to chose from. This is consistently the slowest pharmacy in the city. The staff will often report to the Walgreens messaging system that they've completed the script, you will get an automated message that the script is filled only to drive their and find out they have not completed the work. As I write this I've been in the drive through line for 20 minutes with one car in front of me. Why they haven't asked that user to come into the store is a mystery. read more

This Walgreens is interesting. If you come here late at night, you are bound to see something that will make you double take. The other night there was a gentlemen hanging out by the door using a number of expletives(to include a few F-bombs) in describing his encounters with God. Then there is the young lady in the picture and several others like her. At any rate, this place carries tons of meds, snacks, cosmetics, beer, wine, soda, and last minute Christmas, Valentines, Easter, and Halloween gifts/items. It may or may not be pricier, but I've never noticed because I mostly find myself in here out of necessity vice choice. One important thing to know however is that if you require a medicine that comes from their pharmacy(like certain advil and other meds with controlled substances), the fact that they are open 24 hours does nothing for you, as you'll be denied just like I was if/after the pharmacy is closed.
