He is a very kind and caring man who takes his time and is very clear in his explanations. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I will likely go back to have the finger taken care of if it doesn't clear up. I highly recommend him as a kind of doctor that we're all looking for. His office staff was also very helpful and pleasurable to work with.

The front entrance has a security/ front desk that provided exact location of the clinic because its a big building and I looks like its easy to get lost in there in my opinion. Typical waiting even with an appointment. Clinic looks new, neat and clean. Good customer service from front desk person. Looks like a fast paced busy clinic based on the people in the waiting area. There is a small tv but is off, it would be nice if there is a big tv or multiple tvs so people won't get bored waiting. We were called around 7:20 for a 7:00 appointment. During our brief visit, Dr Kofoed was pleasant, calm, not rushing, showed the photo of the xray and able to explain everything we need to know. I was able to schedule the next follow up appointment and will update the next experience based on that.

Lees Clinic is a second generation Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) clinic run by brother and…read moresister, Eric and Jennifer. Eric was trained in China while Jennifer was trained in California, but surely stewarded by their mother and father, the founders of Lee's clinic. They specialize in TCM which includes acupuncture, cupping and traditional Chinese herbs. The herbs are easy to take in pill form (some TCM doctors only do tea). The clinic is only open at this location two days of the week: Tuesday and Friday, and the other days at the Sacramento clinic. Sometimes they have same day appointments. There is always plenty of free parking. I have been seeing the Lee's, who often work together, for over two years. I came with a bevy of problems and found relief with all my treatments. One particular problem I had that I couldn't seem to be relieved through regular chiropractors was lower back and neck pain. I was given acupuncture and cupping which gave me almost instantaneous relief afterwards. For anyone who hasn't had acupuncture know that it doesn't hurt. Acupuncture needles are thinner than stick pens. TCM has been practiced for over 2,000 years with results. TCM works in tandem with Western medicine too.

As a daughter who loves her mother more than anything in this world, my heart was broken when I was told years ago that she would not be able to live here. I prayed harder than I had ever prayed for anything in my life that she would be able to live in a place that was bright, clean, and comfortable. Fairfield Post Acute Rehab has been that place for me and my family, and for my mother, for several years. I am beyond grateful for their caring and competent staff. When covid hit I knew that I wouldn't be able to see mom in person for a while (I usually made the trip twice per year), but I was able to call at any time and talk to someone who would let me know how mom was doing. As soon as possible the staff updates families about the status of the facility after someone tests positive. Additionally, whether facilitating video calls or answering numerous questions about her care, I have never had an issue with the staff at FPAR. Whether in person or via Skype or telephone, meetings about my mom are conducted professionally yet with compassion. I have dropped in unannounced as early as 6am before an early flight, and as late as 10pm - I am ALWAYS able to see mom. Numerous friends are family members drop in when they are in the area, and they are always treated kindly. No rehab center is perfect, but my family is very happy with the care that my mom is receiving. While it is true that I would prefer that she be located closer to me, FPAR is the next best thing to having her next door. Day or night, even with the 3-hour time difference, if I want to know how things are progressing all I need to do is call. Someone always answers, and if they don't have an answer they call back quickly once they know what I need. I don't use the phrase "God sent" lightly, but that is exactly what FPAR has been for me. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
