Asked Future Fence for a quote to repair the fence they built several years ago. They sent out someone to take a look and never heard back after several weeks. When I called, today, the gentleman who took the call said they didn't want to repair it and wanted to replace it. When I asked what the replacement would entail he would not answer. Basically, they don't want to work on the fence they built. In my opinion, they do not stand by their work and their build quality does not stand up over the course of time. Our fence, 15 ++ years later looks pretty damn good and we have only repaired a few planks / bases and restrained ... even more thankful now than when they installed!! NTFF did my fence in 2022. The good: Tear down of old fence and haul away was done well. My property was respected. The new fence was beautiful. The Bad: Keith is "Mr Excuse" when it comes to any delays. I asked for treated wood that was partially buried at 100% of the fence base....they only did 50%....now critters can dig into my backyard. The wood has many knots in it that are now falling out. Many nails are driven in too close to the edges. 3 boards now have knots that have rotted and broken through. Keith gave me a two year written warranty when I paid him....then has never responded to calls or texts on the issues above. Others at NTFF also will not respond. Looking for a new fence? Let me share my experience with Future Fence Co!!! We decided to replace our fence earlier this year. While walking the dog we noted the designs we liked and contacted 3 companies. We went with Future Fence Co because of their style. They definitely were not the cheapest but I was impressed with the rep: Keith. After agreeing on a date, they had the old fence down and the new one up in 2 days. Well done team!!! About a week later they stained it. In the middle of a heavy rain. When it didn't look right to me I asked to have a second layer put on and paid an additional $500.00. It made no sense to me why they would stain it in the rain but Keith said it wouldn't affect anything. Within a couple of weeks 7 of the boards started to crack because the nails were too close to the edge. Keith had his team come out and they replaced the cracked boards. Full payment received and boy did things change. When I contacted Keith (and the company directly) there was a big attitude change. No, this week isn't good. No, my team is booked right now. Here we are months later and I still can't get them to honor their craftsmanship. There are a lot of fence companies out there. Live & learn friends. read more

While I appreciate someone needing to make a living and trying to get a sale. I don't appreciate someone ringing my bell at 1:21 pm on a Saturday especially with a No Soliciting sign present. And to have the audacity to walk around my yard and peep in my gate to look at my backyard when I have Property Under Video Surveillance and Trespassers Will Be Prosecuted signs up! If I want or need someone to do work on my house or property I will make that call. For future reference do not leave business cards or mailings at a home that has No Soliciting. And don't trespass this is not the safe way to get business. read more

I called NTFF because they built my fence and it needs a repair. One section is about to come down and I explained to them that I have dogs so it's especially urgent. Mike came out today to check the fence and I received a very short and abrupt text from him basically saying "we can't help you you're on your own"(see photo). I immediately called him asking for an explanation (which he should have done anyway) and he said it wasn't enough money and he would have to charge me a minimum of $2500 to make it worth his while. I can understand a company not doing repairs on another companies fence, but I do not agree with them turning me away when it's their fence. When I asked for a referral to another company, he gave me the name of a company that has a 1 star rating on Yelp... The interactions I had with the owner really rubbed me the wrong way. North Texas Future Fence Company installed a fence for us in November of 2020. They did good work on the fence itself, but here are the reasons for the two star rating. 1. Their cleanup job was awful. There were nails everywhere. I found at least 15 in our driveway the day they left and I'm still finding them in our yard. 2. While testing my sprinklers in April, I realized one of the sprinkler heads was on the wrong side of the fence. I marked every sprinkler head before construction started, so they apparently forgot about one of them. Everyone makes mistakes, so I called in April to ask for the repair. It's been 9 weeks with about a dozen messages left and I finally had to pay someone else to fix it today. You're only as good as the work you stand behind and in my case, North Texas Future Fence Company has not stood behind their work. If they respond to this review and claim weather delays, it's been 9 weeks. It didn't rain for 2 months straight and even if it did, sprinkler repair can happen when the ground is wet. Overall good quality and better than the replaced existing fence. They added features such as customized gates style and privacy extension. The debris from the previous fence was removed, the contiguous grounds were manicured, and even additional dirt was brought in to even out the grounds. read more

Again I was so pleased, I had them come back yet again and build me a deck and an outdoor kitchen. Mike and his crew and very professional and easy to work with. This company was abusive to my property while installing a fence for my neighbor. Because it was more convenient, the owner told his crew to work from my property.They stacked concrete bags in my flowerbed, rolled their wheelbarrow up and down my flowerbed ,etc. I had recently had my beds totally redone with new soil etc. They trampled plants and bulbs that were dormant. When I complained to the owner he had only an apology to offer. He felt no need to compensate me for the damage. I have never experienced a company that had such a blatant disregard for someone's property. FYI, after I complained they moved everything to their client's property and were able to do the work needed. read more

I contacted North Texas Future Fence to get a quote on a fence repair and modification of an outbuilding. Mike Kaplan (owner) came and met me the next day and provided me a quote at the time of our meeting. I provided Mike with the timeframe I wanted the project completed, and he came in on time and on budget. He came to the site every day and called in to keep me posted on their progress. After the project was completed, all debris was removed and it looks great. They built a new gate that looks awesome. I am very happy with the experience and would recommend them for anyone looking for a fencing company! read more

North Texas Future Fence put a new fence in for us a few years ago. It was re-stained again after the spring of 16 hail storm and still looks new. Everything is still super solid. Initial fence job was completed with some errors, Gate spacing did not match on both gates, dirt was not back-filled where posts were removed. At first phone calls were returned in a timely manner, then slow response. After cracked pickets were replaced they were trimmed incorrectly. Dirt was not back-filled completely and took two calls and trips to fix. There was a question on honoring a quote for stain, this was resolved by stating if I never contact them again the price will be honored. Mike was very rude by stating this. I need to mention owners also changed during this time frame and this was not communicated. Owner is frequently out of town. read more

High quality materials. Started and finished as promised. Had to call them back out as they installed all the gates backwards from what they were on the old fence. Had to call them back again as my sprinkler system would not work after the fence was installed. Mike sent one of his fence workers out who spent a total of about 30 minutes poking around before informing me he couldn't find the problem. Had to get a sprinkler professional to come out and get my sprinkler system working. Here is why I give Future Fence such a low rating. I texted a copy of the sprinkler repair bill to Mike to see if we could work something out on the cost and to schedule a time when they could come out and stain my new fence. Apparently Mike had forgotten that he sent someone out to look at the sprinkler problem, and they couldn't fix it, as he left me a very nasty, and unprofessional, voicemail concerning the repair bill. After a brief exchange between he and I, he has agreed to pay the sprinkler repair bill though I have not yet received the check. Future Fence uses high quality materials but their, price (expensive), lack of attention to detail, and unprofessionalism leads me to recommend that you should avoid using them if at all possible. read more
