Just spectacular service!! I have used Pickle Roofing on two houses - one in University Park and on a remodel in Highland Park. Now they also help on my kid's houses. They do excellent work. Randy Pickle is a great guy to deal with - a special leader. Jake is fantastic as well and their crew supervisors are experienced and knowledgeable. In the Dallas storm of May 28th of 2024, we had a leak that went into our entry hall. Pickle Roofing was here the next day - which was critical as more rain was coming - and found that our dormer seal couldn't handle the vertical rain. They sealed our dormer taking care of us once again. For new roofs, repairs and maintenance they have consistently done exceptional work, year after year. It really is special to have a company help us and my family over many years. Finally, some contractors see a Park Cities address and add 20% or more to their bills - Pickle Roofing has always been a consistent good value. I have used Pickle on three different occasions to repair a previous company's job. Each repair held and no longer did I have an issue. A recent hailstorm brought the need to have a whole new roof installed and I did not hesitate to contact Pickle. Travis came out to the house and walked the roof and then presented a solid estimate for this. They are a preferred roofer for my insurance company so this worked seamlessly from repair thru payment. Randy Pickle stopped by on the morning of the roof installation to make sure I did not have any questions. Travis, Juan, Frank, and McDowell also were there throughout the day to help with any questions and to be sure everything was going well. From Barb who helped me schedule a quote and then the actual work, to Frank the Supervisor, to Frank the on-site foreman, to The President himself. This crew was awesome. Put new roof on after hailstorm. They said they would need to come in house at the beginning of day, and at the end, to get up in attic. So I arranged to take dogs to dog spa for a day. They never came in. Not only was that a waste, they broke our Easter sign in half (stuck half in V of nearby tree), knocked a downspout loose, left our yard figurines where they moved them, left one of our patio chairs in the back part of the yard, knocked ceiling drywall loose where I heard them dropping shingle bundles on roof (guess its my problem if critters get in), and didn't run magnet in street where their trash trailer & other vehicles had been parked, so I got to pickup a lot of nails. Hope I got them all. Lastly, when I spoke to them about the sign they asked how much, I said $10, they asked if I had venmo, I said no, that was 4 days ago. They know all the issues but clearly don't care. Haven't seen or heard from them. I emailed them day of job - nothing. Followed up with phone call couple days later, had venmo discussion via text that day & now 4 days later writing this review to warn people how little this company cares about it's customers. read more
