As if running a small business isn't hard enough these days, people like you go and make it worse, good luck to you Try to help people, do the best you can and they go shit on you like that. Very selfish of you The owner, Ryan seems like a nice guy. However when I called to get a some keys made on three different occasions over the last month, the answer was always yes that will be no problem I'll be in Anchorage on Friday. A month later, after confirming he would be in Anchorage yesterday, for a third time it was just another no call and no show. I understand if you're busy then tell me that, not I'll be there.

Chris, the owner of Pacific Pros, and Brad did excellent work on our flooring installation project…read more They both went above and beyond the expected project, and got it done in an efficient and timely manner, within a week. Exceeding our expectations. Chris is an honest businessman who helped us navigate and chose the best color laminate flooring that worked so well in our home. He is a talented tradesman who knows each step in detail regarding removing trim and old flooring, leveling and securing our subfloor, installing our LVP, and reinstalling and painting new trim. Being that this was a remodel, he discovered and fixed some surprises that were found. He and Brad knew just what to do. His prices are very good. We trusted both Chris and Brad with our home remodel, and would highly recommend them.

Dave is great in a bunch of ways. First, he's extremely competent. He'll do a great job. Second, he…read morehas some brains and understands what you're trying to do. He will work with you and make reasonable and good suggestions. Third, he will save you money. Lots and lots of money. We had an old water heater that went out, which was a real problem because we have baseboard heat. So, we really needed a water heater. We had a quote from our heating company and Dave said he could beat the quote. He got us a continual hot water heater, installed, for about $4K less than what we had been quoted. Work was top notch. We have hired Dave for several projects, not the least of which was replacing the hot water heater. A major project was renovating our garage. His work was great but a lot of it was during the winter, which meant that there were a number of people who were calling about heaters and issues with their house affected by the cold. When we needed a hot water heater, our work went to the top of the list. When it's January and some of the garage needs to be finished, work for others that is really important in the Alaska winter (like water heaters and other issues) went to the top of the list. I suppose I could bitch about that but I also recognize that the time line of my garage being finished isn't a matter of life and death. Fixing someone's heat or hot water or other matters can be life or death in an Alaska winter. I figure it's better to have a really competent handy man with a conscience than making sure my garage is his A#1 priority. So when his timeline for finishing our garage gets delayed because he's fixing the heat on an elderly couple's house, I don't worry. All in all, Dave's done excellent work. He's also been completely up front and 100% honest and done a great job. I've recommended him to friends of ours who are older and need real help because I know he will do a competent job and be honest about his services. That is, I know he will do a good job and I don't have to worry about him overcharging them. My wife and I are already discussing our next projects with him. I don't know if I can give a higher recommendation than that.

Elite Doors is easily one of the best garage door companies in Alaska -- and yes, they even travel…read moreto Willow! They deliver exactly what they promise, on time, with professionalism and integrity. The team is respectful, hardworking, and completely trustworthy. They walk you through all your garage door options with a clear, well‑designed brochure, and they'll recommend the best solution for your situation -- even if it's the lower‑priced option. They ask the right questions too; for example, because my bedroom is directly above the garage, they guided me toward quieter options. When my old garage door failed during a cold snap right before I had to travel, another company (Alaska Door) scheduled an installation and then never showed up. Thankfully, my contractor connected me with Ivan at Elite Doors. Within 12 hours, Ivan came out to Willow, assessed my needs, and gave me a quick, very reasonable quote. He even helped me choose a new garage door opener I'd been wanting. The best part? He scheduled installation within two hours of his visit -- at no extra charge. The installation team was fantastic: clean‑cut, well‑spoken, and extremely respectful of my time and home. They only asked me once to enter my garage code, and when I offered to share it, they politely declined and turned away while I entered it. That level of respect and professionalism is rare. Elite Doors provided the best service I've ever experienced -- kind people, excellent work, and true reliability. Very highly recommended!
