This place was cute. Quiet. I went on a Saturday because my friend was craving their chicken parm sandwich. The online menu made it look like it was only a lunch menu thing, but fortunately for us it shows up on the weekends brunch menu as well. He already loves the sandwich with the generous amount of prosciutto; too generous for me. I ended up taking a lot of it out. We also got the truffle garlic bread, I was really pleasantly surprised! I've wanted to like truffle, but to me it always tastes like dirt. This was the first time I enjoyed it, so that was awesome. Our server was very quick, very kind, very knowledgeable. Overall a great experience! read more

I've been to this location years ago and tbh back then it didn't make much of an impression on me but they have definitely gotten so much better! We walked in around 8pm and were seated right away. We started off with the shrimp scampi for the appetizer. This honestly could be a meal! The shrimp were big, the sauce was delicious and they give you this crusty bread that's perfect for getting all the sauce. This was something I would definitely order again. For entrees we went with the salmon and chicken parm. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the pesto sauce was delicious! It was so fresh and flavorful. The fregola pasta it comes with is such a nice and different option. I really enjoyed the dish. The chicken parm was also great. It was a good portion of chicken, the cheese was nice and melty. I also asked if I could have a different pasta sauce than the one it comes with and our server recommended the sauce they use for the spicy rigatoni and omg that was the move! It was great. I'll definitely be making my way back here more often again. read more

Came for magical dining and thought it was pretty good! It wasnt busy when I have arrived at 6pm. A nice esthetics and an open window view of the kitchen. My server was Ricky(?) and he was very helpful in helping me make decisions. I ordered the fritto misto which was cooked perfectly. Yet I feel like there should be more calamari. A lot of the arugula and sliced fried zucchini where I was digging for calamari. Then I gotten the braised short rib pasta and added the spicy asparagus. The pasta was creamy and the spicy asparagus gave it a good kick! It needed more salt but I wish there was more of the short ribs. A little too less for me. I was also given bread that was warmed and the center so soft. Ate half of it and had to take it home! Plus dipping it into the pasta sauce was a bonus. My waiter talked me into their seasonal butter cake which had a banana foster like topping to it. OMG, the highlight of the dinner. It is very sweet but so good at the same time. I would go back just for that. read more

Dining at North Italia is comfort food with polish. The comforting and welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for the warm big Italian family welcome feeling. I tried the Chicken Parmesan, the stand out meal. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, the flavors are balanced, and it tastes like a classic done right. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the chicken was cooked beautifully. The rigatoni was slightly firm, but made the pasta lover in me happy. Pricing was reasonable for this type of establishment. I didn't realize that this was a chain restaurant, having over 50 locations in the US. Excited to try more of their menu. read more

Stopped in here for dinner and to watch the masters. Ordered a tequila guavarita. Excellent drink. Perfect mix. Ordered the truffle garlic bread and the squid ink seafood pasta. Others ordered the pizza and Caesar salad. The bread was amazing thick cut homemade bread with ricotta and shaved parm. Delicious! The squid ink pasta was delicious and and seafood very fresh. The sauce had a spicy bite but very tasty. The other also enjoyed the food and look amazing. Hip corner restaurant in the heart of Brickell. read more

10/10 recommend their happy hour - particularly if you can snag a seat outside! I recently came and grabbed the cacio e Pepe arancini and oh my god, they were truly so delicious. They were fried to perfection, had a lethal dose of black pepper (exactly how I want it!), and were decadently cheesy. This is truly a great spot for a solo happy hour treat! read more

Idk how I've managed to pass by here so many times and never stopped in until recently. I'm overly obsessed with their truffle bread for starters! The short rib is delicious, tender, and flavorful. And the chicken parm is sooo good! The portion sizes are great and the menu pricing isn't bad at all. The service is really good and friendly. And the views of Brickell lit up in the evening makes for great ambiance. It's one of my new favs, so I'll for sure be back often! read more

Came for a girls brunch. The three of us decided to do the Miami spice menu. Not many customers around at this time and it was starting to storm outside. Service was great. I had a vodka mixed drink from the menu. I do t remember the name, but it was good and strong. Added on the charcuterie for $24. It definitely wasn't worth it. But I liked the sweet cheese and the pickled veggies. Couldn't tell you the specifics. Started off with the meatball. It was really good. Happy it came with a lot of meat. The polenta was perfect to cut through the heaviness from the meat. I would get this again. Then the spicy sausage pasta. Our waiter emphasized spicy. But I guess I didn't catch his implication it was SPICY. It wasn't that good kind of spicy. Not a lot of sausage in it. Just spice and pasta. The pasta was a little underdone for me. Ended with the bombolini de guayaba. My favorite part of the meal. I'd literally only come back for this. It was hot, fresh, soft and so perfect with the guava. Overall a great experience for $35. read more

Great happy hour deals - a perfect place to gather in the evening with plenty of large party seating and bar tops!

Not our first time and not our last time. Service is always great. Lunch items were delicious. Definitely going back.

The place is a bit overwhelming in my opinion. Loud music, TV's stealing your attention and people talking loud enough to make their voices heard amidst the chaos. However, other people (like my family) may like this kind of atmosphere. We come here quite often and the truffle butter bread is always a must have. Zucchini chips are very crispy and the pesto aioli is really good. I love dipping the remainder bread with the aioli. The pesto pasta is great, it has a nice hint of lime to it and the crunch of the pine nuts goes very well. Spicy vodka pasta does have a slight kick which is excellent and the pasta is always cooked on point. The branzino does its job if you are not looking to have pasta but it's nothing very special. We sat inside and the service was good despite the place seeming busy. read more

Italian restaurant in the middle of Mary Brickell Village. Happy hour is Monday - Thursday only. They are very Pet friendly and brought a water bowl out for the little one. Ordered a few things to share and they split them up for us. The margherita pizza with hot honey was good. Spicy rigatoni was delish and had a kick. As a Brickell local, I had high hopes for North Italia, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The food is mediocre at best, especially for a restaurant that markets itself as Italian. What's worse is the culture and service. On multiple visits, I attempted to sit at the bar and was inexplicably refused service. On one occasion, a blonde bartender made me feel singled out and unwelcome, and her behavior raised serious concerns for me about potential bias. I left feeling deeply uncomfortable and disrespected. This was not a one-time incident, and I intend to escalate this issue to corporate. Brickell has many incredible dining options--and I will not be returning to North Italia again. read more

North Italia is an excellent option to enjoy Italian fare, drinks and people watch in Brickell. That's exactly what me and my friends did on New Year's Eve when we visited. I had only ever tried North Italia for takeout before and so it was nice to be able to experience in real life. Our server- Nico I believe was his name- was super nice. We started with cocktails and I did enjoy my espresso martini. Then the three of us split a meatball pizza, simple salad, and tuna crudo. All of them were great but I loved the simple salad. It's topped with either blue cheese or gorgonzola which is the perfect balance to all the freshness. We also enjoyed some bottles of wine- they have a well priced Sauvignon Blanc. Would definitely visit again. The outdoor seating area is very dog friendly and they have a pretty large bar that spans to the outdoor area as well. read more

Easy to walk in without a reservation. We ordered two vegetarian pizzas. The FUNGHI - mushroom pizza made with smoked mozzarella - why would a vegetarian want to eat smoked mozzarella that tastes like pork??? bad pairing! Cacio e Pepe - made with pecorino romano fonduta so a fondue style liquid cheese, there was hardly any mozzarella, was disgusting and inedible! I've never had a bad pizza before. The passion fruit margarita had too much ice. I've dined in this restaurant before so I know it's a solid place, but the menu options are lacking at the moment, there's only one vegetarian pasta option. So it pains me to rate is 3 stars. They charge $10 for bread with olive oil! read more

The service from the waiter and hostess was exceptional. The waiter ensured we like the meals we chose and everything we ordered was off the Miami Spice menu. The only thing I don't like was their peach Bellini I've had several before and ordering one from North Italia it wasn't soo great they need to change the peach purée they are using. Overall, the food was delicious and mouth watering even the banana coffee cake it was soo moist and delicate. You're able to have conversations in the restaurant there are tvs if you wanted to watch the game or news. The restaurant itself does they carry themselves at a high standard it was very inviting and a great place to enjoy a meal. I came here on a Sunday it wasn't busy at first but I do recommend to make a reservation. read more

The service at North Italia has gone down the tubes. My friend and I went there on Monday night, sat outside, and experienced long waits for everything. The wait staff blamed the kitchen for things being slow, but there were also issues with the water (which was totally within the wait staff's control). The long delays and constantly having to flag down our waiter (in a restaurant which was only at maybe half capacity) was very frustrating. I must note that the Bolognese was delicious. The quality of the food and the amazing location are what kept me from leaving a one star. read more

We stopped here just based on the number of people with the restaurant going in. We hadn't been to this part of Miami so we were unfamiliar with this place, but intrigued by how much fun everyone seemed to be having. We were brought to a table and didn't have to wait long for our service to begin. Our wait person was right on the ball and we had drinks right away which were good! I was tired and thirsty and she recommended the New Italian Spritz which was very refreshing. We had the calamari fritte for an appetizer and a prosciutto pizza. We were hungry but the food was just right and we were satisfied with the taste and quality! We highly recommend this restaurant. The price was just right and you don't have to be dressy to get in! Love that! read more

Love North Italia! We got the calamari and olive oil bread to start, which were both delicious. The bolognese and chicken Parmesan were amazing too, and honestly my favorite part was the pasta with the chicken parm - was some of the most delicious but simple pasta I've ever had, could eat it every day! They also are quick to bring out drinks and food, and have a lot of seating indoor and outdoor, but even if there is a wait, it's worth it! read more
