Came to North Italia recently and we already can't wait to come back. We started off the evening with the truffle garlic bread and oh my was it delicious. I honestly could come back just for this and would be satisfied. The bread was toasted on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside, just phenomenal. For the main dish I got the Chicken Parmesan. This was the only thing I was so so on with our meal. The pasta was delicious. A perfect combo of creamy and cheesy. The chicken however, I wasn't the biggest fan of. Maybe a one off scenario, but the texture itself was just off and not enjoyable. With the pasta being tasty, I would still come back to give some other dishes a try still! We finished the meal off with the banana caramel butter cake and it was to die for. The vibe, the outdoor seating, the service - North Italia opened up and listen you should come for everything, but especially the food. During this visit we sat at the bar...even our bar stool neighbors were very cool and the conversation was delightful and hilarious!! We ordered Don Giorgio to kick the evening off and the whiskey and ginger combo was so refreshing. It literally made me contempt forgiving enemies. We sipped as we perused the menu. Piroose (which means to be victorious) waited on us and we really liked him! Let's me be honest -everyone behind the bar (Cherise and others) was on point with service, a smile and light conversation. I felt seen with out being interviewed. My husband had the Spinach and Arugula salad with strawberries and pine nuts. It was so pretty just like a cute dress on a summer evening. Not to mention it was SOOO GOOD! I have been to a couple North Italia locations in LA and DC, so was very excited when I saw they were building one in Greensboro! Recently got to try it, and it was very good! Ambience is perfect for date nights or family gatherings. I really like the outdoor dining area. Parking will be a bit of a challenge, and may need to park further in the mall. Food wise, everything was delicious! I did order quite a bit to try different offerings, so ended up taking leftovers home with me! My only feedback was the temperature of the food. The pasta was not as hot as I had hoped for, but still delicious, and I will definitely be coming back! The service was great, and since we arrived a little earlier in the evening, for dinner, our server was very attentive. Looking for a new place for a date night, we came across North Italia in some social media videos, and it looked like a great option as a fairly new addition to the Friendly Center area. First impressions start in the parking lot, and while I know it's a dense retail area, I was still disappointed how slim parking was. We ended up parking a short walk away at another business, but I'd always prefer to park where I'm dining or shopping. The building itself has a very attractive design, with huge wrap around windows, warm wood architectural elements, ample outdoor seating, and just the right amount of ambient lighting to set a mood without being too dim. I really love the warmth and modern feel of the design here. The outdoor patio had heaters, but the night we came there was a strong cold breeze and we didn't dare freeze ourselves out there. The kitchen is also openly visible behind a glass wall which was a nice touch. We had reservations and were seated promptly on our arrival. Here was a very minor complaint, because I prefer restaurants with individual tables for more privacy. Here, the layout of much of the seating is a long bench along a wall for one side of the table, then chairs on the other side. This requires you to shimmy past other patron's tables to sit at your own, and I saw this become particularly challenging for a large group being seated trying to get everyone to slide to their seats. It's a very minor thing, but not my first preference. Service itself was great, and we were promptly waited on by very nice staff our entire visit. There is a comprehensive selection of wine and cocktails, and what appears to be a very well stocked bar. For food: we started with the White Truffle Garlic Bread for an appetizer, and that was absolutely perfect. I'd order it again and again without hesitation. Perfectly crisp yet airy, seasoned just right, with decadent cheese topping. We devoured this within minutes, and I saw the same happen at surrounding tables. Nothing but positive things to say here! We noticed the meatballs at several adjacent tables, and while we did not order them, they looked fantastic and I want to try them next time. For entrees, we got the Strozzapreti and the Ricotta Cavatelli. Both of these were delicious, with rich flavor, just the right balance of seasoning, and perfectly cooked pasta. I was a bit disappointed with the Cavatelli since it was described as having lump crab but on mine, it was finely shredded and incorporated into the dish instead, and I felt the serving was small compared to the other entree we ordered. While the meal was overall on the expensive end, the ambiance, service, and quality of food was all fantastic, and I think this is a great option for a Greensboro date night! read more

Our server, Gia, was a delight! She was very friendly and willing to assist with questions and make suggestions. The restaurant was very busy and the parking lot is very small. The decor is very classy and the large windows are nice as well. The food was delicious! We started with the white truffle garlic bread and we'll definitely order that again! This my first visit to North Italia on a Saturday shortly after 4pm. I have purposely waited to visit to give this new restaurant some time to work out the kinks. The restaurant is beautiful, very warm and inviting; had plenty of wait staff standing around seemingly ready to work and several tables were clean and empty, yet the hostess seemed to have a hard time figuring out where to seat us. After finally being seated it took the waitress roughly 8 minutes to make her way to our table. Our waitress, Kelly, was very friendly in her approach but seemed to be more focused on her other larger tables so her attention to a 2-seater was lacking. We placed an appetizer order of calamari, a drink from the bar and a soft drink to start. Surprisingly the calamari arrived hot and fresh before we even got drinks. Note, no appetizer plates so we were eating from the calamari plate. However the calamari and each dipping sauces were DELICIOUS! When the bar drink finally arrived the glass was already sweating a sign it had been sitting at the bar for a while waiting to be picked up. Now on to the main course, we ordered the short rib Marsala and chicken parmigiana. It was odd each entree arrived separately within at least an 8-10 minute window of time. Service timing definitely needs to be improved. Good news, the latter entree, chicken parmigiana, arrived hot and was delicious. The short rib Marsala which arrived first was equally delicious, however, being that nothing on the plate was cooked to order it could have been plated after the chicken parmigiana and both entrees could have arrived together. Overall, it's quite pricey but the food was delicious. However food service timing and wait staff could use a lot of fine tuning. I do recommend and will visit again after they've had some additional time to get things in sync. read more

Came to North Italia for a birthday lunch with a party of 8. Reservation was easy, and the restaurant has a great vibe; modern, spacious and a long impressive bar. Service was friendly, but food took longer than expected even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. We started with calamari and bread, good, but nothing standout. I had the Strozzapreti pasta with spinach, mushrooms, and Parmesan, perfectly cooked and really delicious. My nephew's Chicken Parmesan was a huge portion; chicken was cooked just right (not dry), though the pasta on the side was a bit firm. We also ordered the Roasted Salmon, Hot Italian Stromboli's, and The Pig pizza (tasty but felt overpriced). Dessert was the highlight; we ordered two tiramisu, was excellent: creamy, not too sweet, and the salted caramel budino; easily the best part of the meal. Overall, great spot for celebrations with good food and atmosphere. A little improvement on wait time and pricing would make it even better. The food here was delicious! They make everything in house, and you can taste the freshness. It was also fine for my daughter to watch them make pasta from scratch. Inside there is plenty of seating a beautiful bar and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the nice weather in Greensboro. Hey family! I want to tell you about my wonderful Tuesday afternoon at North Italia in Friendly Center. I had a nice long weekend and I figured it was best that I checked this place out during the week as I saw from a few reviews they can get very busy. I opted to go for lunch around 1230ish and I figured by that time, the initial lunch rush might be fizzling out. So just to get this out of the way, when I pulled up I was annoyed because there were no parking spaces available. I'm not sure why there are so many To Go spaces but I digress. I parked by Five Guys which wasn't far, literally right across from the restaurant. I was greeted by friendly staff and I sat at the bar. There is very comfortable seating and plenty of chairs. I love that it's very well lit. I hated that there were no purse hooks. That's okay because there were only 2 people at the bar so my purse had its own seat. As it should lol. I was warmly greeted by Kia (forgive me if I misspell her name) and Amber. Both ladies took great care of me and answered my questions about the menu. I started with a cocktail which was the Limoncello Sbagliato. I enjoyed it and it was very reminiscent of a French 75. I was pretty hungry and I wasn't too sure of the portion sizes but I got the Italian meatballs and white truffle garlic bread. The meatballs were tender and topped with fresh basil and paired with creamy polenta. The garlic bread was fresh, buttery, garlicky with a heaping of ricotta. Pro tip, dipping the garlic bread in the sauce was to die for. After I finished. I was full. I thought I would order something else but I'll have to wait until the next time I'm in the area. I did have room for another drink which I opted for Prosecco and I took a bite of the maple glazed bombolini. I knew I wasn't going to finish it. That was an excellent paring. I could also see having coffee with it as well. It reminds me of if a beignet and a fried apple pie had a baby. When I got it, it wasn't as warm as I hoped it would be but I wanted to test the reheat quality and it did not disappoint. Later on that evening I heated it up and it tasted even better. I'm very pleased that I had a pleasant visit and I would love to return again. Being a new restaurant will have some things to work out but above all, I have no complaints. Had an absolutely superb experience at North Italia on a busy Saturday Night right after the Panthers playoff game. They may not have been able to pull it off, but drowning myself in delicious Italian food helped me recover. North Italia is brand new, shiny, and trendy... and has plopped itself down right in the heart of Greensboro's busiest shopping district, right behind Cheesecake Factory. In fact, i think North Italia and Cheesecake Factory are part of the same restaurant group. We didn't have a reservation, but came later, so it was maybe 15 minute wait for a table. Our server did a great job start to finish, very courteous and kept our drinks filled, also did a good job trying to sell up some things as I'm sure she is taught, but without being annoying. I'll just get one general statement out of the way before diving into specifics. Everything was damn near perfect taste wise. At the same time, the pricing makes that a necessity. We generally felt that the value was only good because it was all delicious. They could give themselves a little more wiggle room if they'd do simple things like make the caesar salad larger, or put more pasta in the bowl. Low cost, high reward. Anyway, we started with the white truffle garlic bread, which is topped with light and fluffy ricotta cheese. Man oh man, it was rich, full of garlic and truffle flavor, and delicious. It would be hard not to order this again. Along with the bread, we ordered a caesar salad to split. The kitchen actually split it for us, a nice gesture, however at the price we would hope for more salad. Once again, taste was phenomenal, from the dressing to the croutons... but very pricey. A little more romaine lettuce and dressing goes a long way. For dinner, I ordered a pasta dish, the spicy rigatoni in vodka sauce. My wife got the chicken parm. She won dinner, because both dishes were basically the same price, however hers was much more substantial even though both were delicious. It was a little disheartening to see just as much pasta in my pasta only dish, as there was as a side on her chicken parm plate. More pasta please. Anyhow, the sauce was spicy, robust, and delicious. I mopped as much of it up as I could. The pasta is made fresh, you can tell by the texture. No dried pasta here. When I did find chunks of italian sausage and pancetta, they delivered nice little flavor bombs with the pasta. Yum. Her chicken parm though, was perfect. Pounded out, well baked, perfect amount of breading, sauce, and cheese. It came with delicious pasta as well, which they did in like a rose cream sauce for her (normally just a parm sauce, but they mixed it with marinara at her request, and it was awesome). So to sum up, we spent a nice chunk of change, but also, everything was just so damn tasty. Had anything been less than, it would have been a let down... but the flavor lived up to the bill. Another amazing addition to Friendly Center! Hip, modern, and sleek. Fun, tasty, and flavorful all around. The specialty cocktails here have a kick, with some very unique and creative options. I went with the Diavolo cocktail made with mezcal, Calabrian chili, lemon honey, and ginger. Smoky, smooth, and perfectly balanced. For appetizers, the homemade focaccia was one of the best we've ever had. Warm, soft, and absolutely addictive. The arancini melted in your mouth, and the carpaccio app melted even more. The fried capers on top are a perfect bonus. The house specialty bolognese was superb! Silky smooth, velvety sauce with melt in your mouth meat. Amazing! All of their pastas are made in house. The short rib pasta was also super flavorful with fall off the bone meat. The ambiance is hip and modern, with an open kitchen that shows how hard these chefs and cooks are working. Service was excellent all night from start to finish. Not much more you could ask for on a night out. Arrived and was unable to find parking in the lot or nearby, so I would be prepared for that if you plan a visit during daytime shopping hours at Friendly. I absolutely loved the ambiance. Went here on a random spur of the moment because they finally had a reservation open! They were pretty busy but the servers were great! Once we got seated she came out and went over the menu with us and she went over what vegetarian options they had. Which they had a few to choose from between the starters and the entrees. Between the two of us we ordered the tortellini al pomodoro and a chicken Parmesan, we both loved the tortellini al pomodoro. I didn't try the chicken parmesan. The tortellini was cooked perfectly and the filling was rich and the sauce was delicious. For starters we got the arancini, our waitress described it best, it's essentially a mac and cheese ball, the pesto aioli it came with was fantastic though. We got some drinks too and they were both really good! Just a heads up the bottled water is charged for. I'd definitely go back! Parking I can imagine on a busy day can be hectic, the main lot itself isn't the biggest. The setting is fancy. The ambiance is upscale. We have a very nice evening and found the calamari to be excellent. I'd say that this dish is one of the best versions in the city, with another being at 1618. The restaurant was well staffed with friendly folks and most of our meal came out with appropriate timing...our main course took 30 mins or so and was lukewarm, so I am guessing there was a bit of confusion in the kitchen. The flavor of the pasta was excellent just wished it had been a bit hotter. The bar service was good and my manhattan was spot on. This would mark my 3rd visit at North Italia in less then a month! Food is always fresh. Service is extraordinary. I went for lunch for my sister's birthday. The dining area is not full but looks like its going to get busier. We went at two in the afternoon. Reservations are highly recommended since its a new restaurant it can be packed up quickly. We ordered alot on the menu and all shared. Small plates: we tryed the wild shrimp scampi comes with side of toasted bread(tasted fresh not frozen:seafood lovers will love this) Italian meatballs(it tasted okay ) and white truffle garlic bread( this one is going to be one of my favorites its so savory:seasoned with herbs,parmesan and ricotta;sooo tasty I can eat one order myself!!). We ordered Chicken Parmesan Ragatoni (the chicken parmesan is delicous but the pasta can use more seasoning), Parmesan Chicken sandwich( very good comes with either a side salad bed or fries), Sicilian Meatball (soft and good) sliders and Braised short ribs lumache( the pasta can used a lil more seasoning and not much meat came with it)with a side of spicy brocolini( tasted great:cooked good) to share. So happy to see many new restaurants popping up in the Friendly Center. I was super excited to visit North Italia and went for lunch on Friday. The restaurant was bustling and busy but not overly crowded. There's a variation of setting from small tables, bar seatings, and community seatings. The booth seating is one long booth so you're kinda close to your next table but you still have some privacy. There's also an open kitchen concept where you can see directly in if you wish. The food was really good. I got the lasagna soup. The fresh basil really took it over the top and it was great. Very flavorful and well seasoned. The ricotta drop was so good. I got the Strozzapreti for the entree. The chicken was well seasoned and the mushrooms really set it apart. There was a good balance of mushrooms, chicken, and sauce. I really loved the addition of the pine nuts. The Diavolo was a great drink. The Mezcal was perfectly smoked, there was a perfect ratio of spicy and sweet with a citrus kick. Portion sizes were great and I was too full for dessert. I did feel the menu was a tad pricey-I spent about $50 on an appetizer, drink, and entree. They don't currently have the ability to accommodate groups over 8 at this time so keep that in mind if you're looking to make a group reservation. read more

We got invited during their soft opening and all the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We were visiting Greensboro and, on the recommendation of our brother, decided to try North Italia. It turned out to be a great choice. We ordered the Calamari, Truffle Garlic Bread, Chicken Parmesan, and Chicken Pesto. The Truffle Garlic Bread was amazing. It was buttery with the perfect amount of spread and flavor--definitely a 'must-have' appetizer. The Chicken Parmesan was also a winner; it was cooked to perfection, flavorful, and the portion size was just right. The pasta tasted fresh, and if you like a rich cheese sauce, you will be extremely happy. The Calamari had good flavor and was cooked well, though I personally missed having tentacles included. It also arrived a little lukewarm, as if it had been sitting ready for a while before being brought to the table. As for the Chicken Pesto, it was heavily overdressed. A couple of prefatory notes: (1) Can we all share a little disdain for the pettiness of CJ M for creating a Yelp account just to leave a one-star review based on not being able to get a reservation for 10 because the restaurant only accommodates tables of 8? What a sh***y thing to do, especially to a new restaurant. (2) My wife and I received a complimentary meal as part of the restaurant's soft opening last weekend in exchange for our feedback. While my time can be leveraged, my honest opinion cannot be bought. REALLY enjoyed the drinks. I had the "You, Me & Capri" -- campari, peach, and sparkling rose wine. Great balance and start to a meal. My wife had the non-alcoholic "Just Peachy," which unlike a lot of N/A drinks was not overly sweet. Later we tried the "Carajillo" -- double espresso, Licor 43, caffe borghetti, and hazelnut on a giant ice block. I was worried it would be too sweet but it had a nice balance and not too boozy. Appetizer was cacio e pepe arancini. The crushed red pepper blend was a nice hit of heat, but not tongue-burning. It balanced the richness of the cheesy risotto ball well. I liked that the order was 6 smaller balls rather than a couple of big balls -- made for easier sharing. Main course for me was the braised short rib lumache. The short rib was tender and juicy and the sauces was rich and creamy. Definitely not a light dish. The menu said the dish had asparagus but I don't recall any. I would have enjoyed that but can't say I missed it. My wife had the breakfast pizza. I have to say this was a bit of a miss for us. The flavors were great and enjoyed the parts of the crust that weren't rendered soggy by the two over easy eggs. Conceptually, putting wet eggs on a pizza crust is just not a good idea. For dessert we enjoyed the seasonal butter cake, which tasted like the winter holidays. Our server recommended it and we're glad she did. The service was great across the board despite the restaurant being packed on a soft opening weekend. Of course, they knew why we were there, so I would expect great service. I hope the staff is able to keep up the level of energy we experienced over the long run. I am looking forward to going back soon to see. read more

The hostess was a serious ice queen. We felt as if we were bothering her by eating there. After the negative greeting, and shaking that off ... the restaurant has a pretty great vibe and decor. It's elevated but also casual at the same time. We had the Italian Farm Salad and it was the best salad we've had in a long time. 5 stars! Definitely recommend. However the house specialty Bolognese was not the best. It was ok, but nothing I would drive across town for. I ordered a martini, it was awful. Stick with wine! Our experience had some highs and lows. The waitress was nice and provided decent service but she forgot my guests' drink and they decided not to try one because dinner was almost over by the time she made it back around to check on our table. This place aesthetically is so well done. Love the feeling and vibe of the place. They serve really well done cocktails that are different and fit the theme. Unfortunately what's lacking was our service and food. The food was average; portions were disappointing based on the price point. The lasagna was served in a metal dish the size of a small crock. It had a good flavor but lacked any of the short braised beef. Droopy noodles with just red sauce. Our service was dismal. We asked for everything, had to remind our server about waters and bread. We never got cheese and my side salad came out after my entree. And to top it off it was $11?! For a side salad. She was MIA for long bouts of time and we were just over it. Overall, I've had a really good experience. I came here during super early lunch hours, so the space was pretty empty. So, I received my meal pretty quickly. My cocktail, a pomegranate mule, was amazing! I asked my server what was her favorite pasta, and she said the Strozzapreti. It's a very creamy pasta with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese. It was really good. I added a little salt and pepper (they have the cracked pepper!) My server was alright. She was pleasant, but I think this may be new to this field. She check on me once, but I'm thinking it could be that she didn't want to bother me while I was eating. Also, my water glass didn't get low. She did walk by a couple of times and looked at me and the table, so that's my assumption. The busboy immediately arrived to clear my table. The manager, Lalo, was wonderful. He stopped by and told me about the difference with ingredients used in the pastas from North Italy versus South. North Italy's flavors were inspired by France. I was brought the check without being asked if I needed anything else. Which, I did. She never offered the dessert menu. I place a to-go order. The meatball ragu, and 2 desserts. My mom absolutely loved the meatballs and it's a very hearty meal. It's definitely 2 separate meals. I got the Italian donuts, which I ate with a cup of dark coffee. It was so good. The inside is large, and well laid out. I love that I can see the inside of the entire kitchen, which looked very clean. The tables were close, but my plus size self was able to get in and out without moving tables. There's also some outdoor seating as well. However the parking is terrible. I know that's not the fault of the business, but be warned, you may have to park across the street because there's only 19 spots. 3 of those are handicapped, and 4 are for to-go pickups. I do look forward to returning when it warms up so I can get the outdoor experience as well. Price for the pasta is between $23-30(ish) and the deserts on average is $12. The amount of pasta I had for the price seems to be about right, however, I had way less on my plate than the meatball pasta for the exact same price. This is a beautiful new restaurant & I'm so glad it came to our area! We were seated quickly via a reservation through Open Table. Service was amazing & offered honest recommendations. We started with the White Truffle Garlic Bread which was good... but not as good as the grilled bread that came with the shrimp scampi! Shrimp scampi was ok, not much depth of flavor. The pizza was good but the pasta had more truffle flavor than even the truffle bread. We will definitely back! Although I will try different menu items for sure. read more

I've been wanting to go here since they opened. I was immediately greeted and sat. They have a lot of great options for seating. They also have a lot of options for food. Our server was really nice. We were able to ask her about the menu and she answered honestly. The food was good. My broccoli was a little burnt, but I think that's because they had to make sure my friend's broccoli was cooked well due to her allergy. I will definitely return! read more

We had a large party on a Friday at lunch. The lunch started great with attentive service. We placed our food order and ended up waiting for a very long time for our food. We were told after about 45 minutes that the pizza crust wasn't cooking right and that person had to choose something new. Truly not a big deal but why did it take 45 minutes for them to communicate this with us? They just opened so of course there were kinks in the kitchen they are still working out. Once received, the food was delicious and the manager was kind and took care of us over the wait. We will definitely return in a few months once they get into a good groove! read more

I Door-dashed the shrimp scampi and kid's spaghetti and meatballs. The kids spaghetti was delicious and came with 3 large meatballs at an additional cost. It was definitely enough for 2 people to share. The shrimp scampi was also very good. The large shrimp were juicy and delicious. The toasted bread with butter was a little weird because I didn't taste much garlic. However, All and it was a great meal. read more

I highly recommend getting reservations because they are new and popular. Our hostess and waitress were very attentive. They offered a red wine to taste and of course it prompted me to purchase the glass. They offered bread with oil/vinegar dip. The star of the show was the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta. It was really good. I didn't leave a drop. My daughter liked her pizza. We finished the meal with a sundae. I purchased a gift card for a gift. I will definitely return. I would like to visit during the day. The booths are more intimate. The main dining area is open and you are seated close to the other tables. Try this spot! Great food and service. read more

Came tonight to try out. I've been at North Italia before in a different city but can't remember that experience and this one I'll probably won't remember either. Hostess wasn't the friendliest face but the person who guided us to our table was. Also our server was fantastic, kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We started with arancini and white truffle garlic bread. The arancini is supposed to be risotto balls but they were really hard and crunchy on the outside and extremely mushy on the inside, I didn't taste the texture of the risotto. It felt more like melted cheese mixture. A 3 out of 10. Presentation was 8/10. The white truffle garlic bread was fantastic, it was focaccia squares with a whipped ricotta mixture and overall flavor was good. A bit greasy but still enjoyable. Then we ordered calamari, it was not it. Didn't taste like calamari, rubbery and breaded. The flavor was more in the breading than the actual calamari. We sent it back. I went with the short rib Marsala and was the best thing of the night, cooked right, texture and flavor were there. Could've been more generous with the sauce, however I know this is a chain. They just follow procedures. Meatballs and shrimp scampi were just commercial and plain. We decided to order more appetizers than entrees because we thought would be safer but maybe we didn't make the right choice. The hazelnut torta was beautiful and service, again, was also great. I just don't think is a place I would call my new fav restaurant in GSO. I'm looking for that! read more

If you are someone who likes goo Italian food....probably try somewhere else. TLDR: overpriced mediocre food in a lowkey atmosphere with questionable service. I recognize this is a newer restaurant and sometimes when a restaurant first opens, they have to work out some of the kinks. We went there on a Friday night with no reservations an had to wait about an hour (quoted 45 minutes) which is understandable. From the time we were there, if you like a later dinner time you may be much better off without a res; seems like the place really cleared out by 8:30. Our server was slow getting to us and almost seemed to be avoiding us later when it took our food 45 minutes to come out. They also were out of several dishes, which would have been helpful to know when we sat down. Nothing worse than pouring over the menu to figure out what you want, finally decide, and then be told they don't have it anymore. I got the eggplant parm as my meal with a side of Brussel sprouts. The Brussels were the best tasting dish we had (should tell you all you need to know). Eggplant was a good size for one person but could also split it with someone. IMO the eggplant parm was seasoned weirdly - it had a level of spicy I wasn't expecting and just was not the usual palette. We also split the asparagus as well - it was okay nothing special, nothing bad. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. The seats at the bar are first come first serve but they seemed to stay pretty full most of the time we were there so I wouldn't count on them if you don't have a reservation and want a table quickly. The parking was also pretty atrocious. I had to circle the lot twice before getting something. I personally won't be back. I think you can find much better Italian food, especially at this price point. read more

I love the vibe here, very lowkey. This was my first time dining in. We sat at the bar because it was a 20 minute wait for a table and the bar had ample seating at 7:15ish. We sat on the open air side which I really liked. They had heat lamps so you got the semi al fresco experience without freezing. We got menus and water fairly quickly. My friend ordered a drink and I waited because I wanted something with my food. We had an appetizer of zucca chips which were light, airy, and refreshing. It took forever to get someone's attention to order food, we finally place an order and it had an allergen modification. So we waited for a while more (20ish minutes) before someone came out to talk to us about the allergen mod. Turns out the dish couldn't be made without the ingredient so they customized it, which was pretty fantastic honestly I would feel safe eating here with allergies and sending folks here who have allergies. I ordered the bolognese. Shortly after speaking to someone regarding the allergen friendly dish, someone brings our food well they brought my dish, but not the custom one just the unmodified originally ordered one but I'm sure the gentleman we spoke with went one direction and she came with food from another. This caused our meal time to be off because now I want to eat while my food is hot but my friend is still waiting. Her food finally came. My food was delicious but personally, I think my portion size could have been better and my food could have been much hotter, it was cold before I could finish. My friend said her food was good. The bar area is not a great place to sit if you want service. When I was ready to order a drink I had to flag someone down, ready to order food we had to flag someone down, ready to pay flag someone down. The bar wasn't crowded we had a whole side to ourselves, and I get that the bartenders are making drinks for the entire restaurant, but I could have been sold another drink or dessert if asked, but I was tired of flagging down someone and not once did anyone initiate or ask if we needed anything. If you want a spot where you can watch a game and be semi invisible sit at the bar, hopefully table service is better. I've had to go orders with ample portions and enjoyed it so I'm hoping this is a one off. read more
