Happy Valentine's Day to us!!! We had 6:30 reservations and once we found street parking and started walking we received a text the table was ready at 6:20! Yes!! I was ready to eat! The dining area has soft lighting. The menu is good by only being one side for food options. Service was good. They were pretty busy and trying to keep everything flowing for reservations. Maybe the train the check was just dropped at the table while we were eating dessert - no questions asked. We started with the wagyu meatballs-DELICIOUS!!! We opted for the basic marinara over the spicy tomato sauce. It went perfectly with the bread served for the table with pesto butter!! MMMMMmmmmm!!!! Since the only homemade pasta is the Manicotti, I chose that. Hubby chose the Pollo Parmegiana with rigatoni instead of spaghetti. BOTH dishes were fantastic! The sauce is great! We ordered the tiramisu for dessert. Very good as well! I can't wait to return (tonight's specials sounded amazing but I really wanted homemade pasta)

Had dinner here a few times now, reservations are recommended. Great Italian food is had here, its worth the effort and your time. An open, high ceiling, modern interior with a bar area up front by the entrance. We had reservations for a party of six at 7pm and the place was packed when we all arrived. We were greeted upon entry. Our table was waiting for us. Our group tried a variety of dishes along with a couple nice bottles of wine, and desserts and it was all very good to excellent. My Frutti di Mare al Cognac was excellent lobster with scallops with mushroom risotto, a full flavored dish, hearty and delicious. As well, the Gnocchi Arrosto Anatra the roasted duck with gnocchi is an excellent choice, a hearty, full flavored dish. The Calamari appetizer is an excellent choice as well, lightly fried golden with a maranara sauce and lemon. A decent wine and libations offering too. All in all a solid choice for dinner, reservations most nights highly recommended. 4.5 Stars rounded up for the kind staff 01146

This was my first time here and it was incredible. The staff was so attentive, checked in on us frequently, and made sure we were taken care of. We had wine and a dirty martini. I think we finished all of the butter that came with the bread with the table- it was so good we took more home with us. I'm picky about my martinis, but this was one of the best ones in this city I've had. For apps, the baked clams were great- not too fishy and had great flavor. The entrees were also great and would definitely order them again. The meatballs were huge and probably could have been an entree themselves. The ambiance was beautiful with slightly dim lights and felt very romantic. They also have free parking at the back of the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Service was good, portions were massive compared to price. I don't think this is on the main menu but it was excellent. I've had a hard time finding good seafood options in Winston but this was at the top of my list. Will return for more!

Giving it four stars for the service and atmosphere. This Italian restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Winston and the service is exceptional. I got the chicken Alfredo and a tiramisu for dessert. I am nitpicking but the dish looked a bit sloppily plated (see how the sauce is sloshed outside the plate)? But it could have just accidentally spilled over in transit. No complaints about the taste- I'm not blown away but it was good Italian food. Tiramisu was delicious. Overall I would consider coming here again just for the vibe.

My go to place for celebrating birthdays. The food is always good. One favorite is the gnocchi. It is not on the menu, but on the specials board. Be sure to try it! They have a large selection of wines by the glass and a complimentary birthday dessert for that special person. Festive, upbeat restaurant with free parking behind the building. Just take a picture of your license plate and show it to the hostess. Now go celebrate someone!

I had my birthday dinner here recently and it was great. I made the reservation for 10 people but it ended up being 15 and they were very accommodating. We arrived around 7pm and we seated along the long booth with 3-4 tables pushed together. We had a couple servers who were very friendly and attentive. We started with a round of drinks and then placed our entree orders - there was a little bit of everything on the table0 beer, wine, cocktails, pastas, chicken parm etc. I started with a prosecco and then tried a specialty cocktail, the lucky luciano (Knob creek, grand marnier, muddled mint, lemon juice, bitters, orange twist.) For my entree, I went with chicken fettuccine alfredo. And I ended with the spicy snowman dessert drink. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and drinks as well. All in all, I'm glad I chose this spot to celebrate and I would definitely come back!

This was my first visit to the newer location. There are lots of parking options and the location is great if you want to spend the evening downtown. The inside is modern and open. They offer a variety of table sizes and even a private room. Our server was great. We enjoyed our meal. They brought out a basket of bread with pesto butter. They had two types of bread and both were tasty. My husband and I split the tomato and Buratta appetizer. I really enjoyed it and would order it again . The seafood pasta was excellent. All of the seafood was cooked well and the sauce was very tasty. My husband loved his lobster ravioli and was happy to see that still on the menu. I also enjoyed a strawberry Bellini, which was perfect for a warm Friday evening. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and plan to come back in future.

Coco Trattatoria was good but it wasn't spectacular. I had high hopes based on reviews. The server was good. The food was good but just good. Our party had an appetizer and 4 different entrees. So we tried a lot. The zucchini frittes was okay. We could find any zucchini. All we ate was batter. Not worth the cost. The Caesar salad was bland. Pasta needed salt and pepper desperately. The seafood in my pasta was probably the best thing I ate. The restaurant was very nice in doors. They accommodated my friend in a wheelchair. I will like go back to try some other items.

I went to cibo trattoria for an early Valentine's Day date with my boyfriend. The ambiance was so beautiful with high lighting, spacious tables and warm decor filled with wood. We started off with drinks the ginger gold rush and La Fresca both were so refreshing! I had the duck gnocci which was an interesting twist! I do wish the gnocci had more bounce and the sauce was more flavorful but overall a tasty but simple dish. The steak no complaints just wish it came with other veggies. Classic dishes with a nice atmosphere perfect for family dinners, celebrations, or a simple date night!

Are there gluten free options? And. Egan options?

Yes there are GF options but not many. And I assume you mean vegan and again there are some but not many.

I am a bit disappointed. This Italian restaurant is not for the traveler that has actually been to…read moreItaly because it will bend reality for you with sadness since this is not what you'd expect. The tagliatelle was not made with ragú that was marinara. Where was the red sauce?! It was like a light beef broth with noodles from chicken noodle soup. The nonna's baked ziti was a bit disappointing as well. It tasted as if nonna was cooking for someone with high blood pressure and didn't know how to substitute salt for better seasonings. Also why wasn't the Italian sausage baked within the baked ziti? Why offer a meat option if you're not going to add it in. The arancini was cheesy but it lacked the creaminess that it should have that adds to the flavor. The creamy burrata and prosciutto was probably the star of this experience. It was tasty, spicy, and delicious. The server was nice and prompt so I did enjoy her.

I made a reservation for a party of 2 at 5:30 on a Saturday night. We ended up arriving early and…read morethey were able to sit us. We may not have needed a reservation for that early. We ordered the Arancini di Riso for an appetizer and it tasted delicious. We just wish we had 4 instead of 2. I ordered Salsiccia pizza and it tasted wonderful. I appreciated the balance of the dish and that I had plenty leftover. My husband ordered the Beef Short Ribs Barbaresco and said the short ribs were tender and the tomato jam added a sweet note. I also had Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade and it tasted delicious refreshing and was a great option for those who don't want alcohol. Our server for this experience did a wonderful job and I would recommend this place to others.
