Frank and his staff are the best! These guys really know their craft well. Took my car there several times because I had so many different things done (head unit, speakers, subs with custom box, amps, security system, back-up camera, Dynamat, etc.), there's no way it could have been accomplished in one appointment. There's so much they did and it would take forever to write on all of them, I'll just share thoughts about a couple of the items they worked on. With Frank having a background in audio and a trained-ear for high quality sound, I highly recommend you stop by and talk to him if you're looking to improve the sound in your vehicle. You'd be crazy not to tap in to this resource with all his experience and knowledge. COMPONENT & COAXIAL SPEAKERS: I had them install Morel components in the front and a pair of Morel coaxials in the back. Morel speakers are known for their superb and accurate sound reproduction but don't believe me, go read the reviews yourself. I'm so happy with the way the Morels sound. Well mastered songs really shine through with the Morels. SUBS: I initially had Frank do a single 12-inch sub setup (thinking it was going to be more than enough) but then ended up hating having to adjust the bass up or down whenever a new song would come on. The modification to two 12-inch shallow mount JL Audio subs helped complete the sound I was looking for. No more tweaking the bass every time a new song came on. The result is bass that is clean, solid, and tight with plenty more to spare. Frank helped me fine-tune the system that was just what I was looking for. It makes driving so much more pleasurable. Life is too short for crappy audio. CONCLUSION: Service after the sale is also very important to me and Frank does not disappoint in that area too. I will be giving all my future business to Frank. After being in a rear end hit and run accident with my brand new Prius Prime I decided to purchase a front and back dash camera. I purchased the BlackVue 750S 2channel model with the Power Magic Pro hard wire kit. This package comes with a 64 gb memory card along with the small front and rear cameras. (lots of other features too google it if you are interested). After making the purchase I needed to find a good installer since I wanted the unit hard wired and not just plugged into a power outlet. I called two installers that I found on Yelp. The first one wanted to know why I wanted to hard wire the unit and requested I bring it in so they could take a look. Then I called North County Mobile Electronics and as soon as I said that I wanted it hard wired they said 'no problem when do you want to have it done?'. I made an appointment and brought in my 2016 Lexus RX 350 first. Everything was installed correctly (no wires showing) and they went over the unit with me so that I understood how it would work. I was so happy with the product and the installation that I purchased another BlackVue 750S 2 channel with the Power Magic Pro hard wire kit and made an appointment for my 2017 Prius Prime. Again everything was installed correctly (no wires showing) and it is working like a charm. They definitely know how to install electronics on any type of car and were very friendly and accommodating. It is a really busy shop so definitely make an appointment for your work. I've been into sound systems for a long time and had toiled under seats and dashes for years installing my own alpine head units, amps and sub boxes- but now as a busy professional and father of two i have no time nor desire. But when i had to upgrade to the family vehicle to accommodate this young family i wasn't ready to give up on my beats..The dilemma? Maintaining usable space for baby seats, strollers, groceries and the like was imperative in the SUV but i also wanted the sound system i deserve- cause i work my ass off and am not ready to cash in my cool factor for parenthood boredom. After reading their reviews i approached 2 businesses but after one pressed me to make all my purchases thru them versus buying online and saving hundreds i went with North County Mobile. They did not even blink when i showed up with all my equipment. The biggest challenge was building out the sidewall to a custom enclosure for the 12" subwoofer (for which there was no original place to accommodate) that would remain out of the way for practical usage of the SUV's rear cargo space. Mike put Zack in charge and he confidently accepted the challenge. It took a couple days for them to create a fiberglass enclosure for the sub but they did it right- reinforcing the entire panel and creating the correct volume to compliment the Hybrid Audio Claris 12". I wanted to maintain the stock look so no prying eyes would see the investment but discerning ears would appreciate it. So they got my 2 alpine amps, my Audio Control DQ61 OEM interface and Focus speakers all installed and sounding great. What i really appreciate was Zack's commitment to do it right whereas others could have cut corners to save time and increase profit but they truly want their customers to leave happy and i am. My two year old can rock out to some serious beats and bass as i load up the family war wagon for weekend excursions from the zombie apocalypse. Attached are some pics of the end enclosure which looks stock and has a low-vis style but serves up plenty of bass for everything from my Hip-Hop, rock and blues to the wife's Adele and Rihanna. Well, their 5 stars seem quite appropriate. I just bought a little Mercedes SL500 and wanted a couple of cigarette lighter style plugs installed for the ever growing array of devices we all seem to carry. I wanted 1 in the glove box and 1 in a storage compartment behind the drivers seat (I hate having a cord from the console cigarette lighter to my phone, cluttering the console and shifter). Mike suggested he could do the job fast, cheap and with "one hand tied behind his back". In truth, he could have done it with both hands tied behind his back since he didn't actually do the installation. What he did do was tell me to come back the very next day around noon. I showed up early and all he asked for was the key, he remembered what I wanted and his crew went to work. The shop is very large and very clean, always a good sign. Armed with a soda & chips from across the street I listened to a couple of chapters of an audio book seated at an outdoor table on the front "patio". It was a beautiful day. When I walked back inside he said "Your car is ready", and indeed it was. The installation was perfect. Both plugs were flush mounted as though they came from the factory, no rattles, no loose panels, no dirty fingerprints, just a super professional job on time and on budget. Mike and his crew have serviced my last 3 vehicles. It is almost ridiculous that I get the same setup every time: new head unit, 2x JL Audio 10W2s in a custom box and an amp. My mistake is waiting for it. as a poor man, I don't have someone who can pick me up after the build begins. You can only spend so much time at a car audio retailer and not get bored. They have (had?) a nice table and chairs to kick it on, and maybe do some telecommuting while you wait. Work is at the appropriate pace...and the job is always a good one. I have had the following vehicles hooked up here: 1996 Honda Accord - tint, system 2006 Jeep Wrangler - system 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee - system All had no issues save one: the Wrangler seemed to have a short in the system. When I investigated, it was due to the metal of the RCA jacks grounding out on other metal in the dashboard. The electrical tape 'tabs' were coming off, and it was becoming a problem while driving. It was brought back to them, and the few wires were addressed. I have been happy ever since. Mike is a great guy, and loves to get to know his customers. After seeing me sit out in front after a while, he even threw me the keys to his truck for me to get grab both him and me coffee at Black Rock Coffee (another epic OS place.). We got our radio/CD/DVD/etc player installed here at a time where we were really just looking for a replacement radio/CD player for our car. But the guy here said he knew what we were looking for and talked us into getting the combo player, and we've been happy about it ever since! Now to me, it seemed quite expensive but at the time, it seemed like there weren't many cars around with this kind of system, so I sucked it up and figured I'd be closer to the upper edge for once. Purchased a used Mini Cooper from Hoehn Motors in Carlsbad and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and wouldn't be able to fly down and pick it up for a few weeks I asked My salesman if he could recommend some one to install a backup camera system. At bit hard to find. Pull into the steep entrance ramp that grants you access to a number of commercial buildings. They are labeled A, B, C, D, E, F. This place is in suite E38, there was no sign that I saw out front. I had an appointment for a new stereo head unit installed. Mike and his staff did a great job on my 2005 BMW 330i. I didn't have Bluetooth for phone calls nor music. They installed the Mic in a convenient place and the other component was installed in the trunk. You wouldn't know that it was taken apart. We have a Cadillac Escalade that is out of warranty. The CUE SYSTEM stopped working. The CUE System controls GPS, Radio and all Entertainment, Heater/AC System/Defrost, Handsfree Cell Phone...almost every accessory on the car. Cadillac Service quoted us $2,000.00 to $2,400.00 dollars to replace the CUE System. On the internet we learned that the CUE touchscreen is actually the component of the CUE SYSTEM that fails, and it fails often. We also learned on the internet that we could buy a new touchscreen with a Lifetime Warranty and free delivery for about $150.00 from CUESCREENS INC. or Amazon. On the CUESCREENS INC website, we found an installer, North County Mobile Electronics (NCME) in Oceanside, CA. We ordered the new touchscreen and we made an appointment with NCME, the installer to remove the old touchscreen and install the new touchscreen. We were quoted $200.00 by the installer. It took the installer about two  hours  to complete the job. Our CUE SYSTEM works perfectly with the new touchscreen. Our cost for the new touchscreen and the labor to install the touchscreen was about $350.00. Evidently Cadillac only sells new CUE SYSTEMS that cost $2000.00, $2,400.00 if you also need an associated HMI Module. Cadillac doesn't sell touchscreens, the actual Cadillac part that fails. Frank Bezine and his team at North County Mobile Electronics in Oceanside, CA have a great shop, great location, and he helped us through every step of fixing our Escalade. Frank and his team at NCMEC saved my wife and me about $1,650.00 by providing us an alternative to our Cadillac Service department for this CUE SYSTEM repair.
