After a couple hours my new and improved head unit was installed! Unfortunately, the harness he had for my backup camera didn't work for my model of suburu. They were able to order the part and install it a few days later. Cheaper to get an install here than from what I have seen through the big box stores. I wanted to install a new upgraded CD/DVD/satellite radio in my car. Over a 6 month period of time I went into the store 3 or 4 times just to ask questions. The owner was always busy but he always answered my questions. I watched how he dealt with other customers. He listened to them and helped them with problems they had with their sound systems even though it wasn't equipment he recommended to them. He really friendly and helpful. I finally got my radio. I asked for a special switch so that I could manually raise and lower the mast radio antenna and they did it. I took it back after a month and they repaired a broken speaker connector for no charge. Honest and do amazing work. Took an newly purchased older Sequoia in for a new head unit. Long story short, the head unit harness had been cut and it required a lot of extra labor. They stuck to their quote, did not charge $.01 more than their quote and I couldn't be happier. Will not go anywhere else for car audio. End of story. read more

Just had a Pioneer car play system installed in my small RV. Also they installed a back up camera that tied in to the same system. I left the unit for about four hours and Giovanni called to say they were finished. All was done cleanly and professionally and we used the system on a camping trip right after the install. Just about 3 and 1/2 years ago I decided I wanted to get a system in my car. Knowing nothing about any of it, I called Audiozone. Upon arriving I met Giovanni. Right from the start he was very helpful. He explained to me all my options and prices. After having installed the system I had a couple adjustments to make and he was extremely patient while it took me the length of several months to finally be satisfied due to my indecisiveness. At one point, I even blew my capacitor and Giovanni was right there to replace it free of charge. A few years later I got a new car. After reaching out to audiozone and speaking with someone else, my stubbornness took me to another stereo shop. When they informed me I would need a new amp, I called Giovanni. He explained that if I was unsatisfied with whomever I had previously spoken to at his shop, I should have already known to ask for him by name. Even still, he was loyal to me in helping me figure out what the other shop had done wrong... again, free of charge. It was determined it was not my amp, it was one of my subs that had gone bad. After my experience dealing with another shop, I have learned there is no place that will take care of me like Giovanni does. He is extremelt knowledgable, patient, understanding, and willing to help. He wants to TEACH you, which is different from most places. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS PLACE! Everything they "installed" is messing up. First off when the new radio was installed they cut my dashboard and the wires behind it messing up my heat/AC in my 2015 Chevy Camaro. Thank good I paid thru finance company so I had to contact them, tell them all the problems I've had with my 6k installations and they did settle the bill for a 2k but guess what?!?! Went to go parkin lot pimp at the cantina in Carlsbad n my bass starts shorting out. Talk about feelin like a buster! My viper alarm works when it wants n beeps every 10 mins n look at the pic I'm posting. The display screen has shorted out and instead of a pic of a seat it's a naked lady. Oh and after they messed it up and cut my dash they didn't wanna pay for the dealer to fix it, they wanted me to let the same dude that messed it up fix it. Finally after contacting my lawyer for 300$ he had them pay the bill solely for the wires cut, dash board is still cut behind the CD player but you can't see it so I wasn't trippin but they should have fixed it all and some! read more

UPDATE Subs would not work. Checked the amp and it wasn't getting power. Checked inline fuse. Looks good but was only getting power from the battery side. Read amp rating of fuse and it was only a 100 amp fuse. The amp is rated for 140 amps. Will find out soon if it blew my amp once I get the proper fuse. read more

I have a 2016 Kia Soul+ that I absolutely love --- low miles, only 20k! But I wanted a larger screen than my little original 2" x 3" and I wanted it to be "smart". So, I thought I was going to have buy a new car to get a 9" or 10", Nope. I spoke to Giovanni (the owner) and he offered the 6" or the 9"..... Gio is the man, pulled in with my subwoofer no longer working and finally figured out that my amp had finally died. It was over a decade old so either way it was time for a new one. He set me up with an amp and a new Kenwood single deck, had it installed within an hour and a half! Sweet! = Happy Customer We decided to go eat, got to the spot, parked the car, windows don't roll up. = WTF?! Got back to Audio Zone, told them the situation, they don't work on it for a whole 30 mins, finally get to it, takes 45 mins to fix the window situation, then we leave, get something to eat and the alarm doesn't work. = Unsatisfied Customer My overall experience with Audio Zone has not been the best one and I wasn't even the customer. If I could, I'd give them 100 stars. I went in, knowing what I wanted to spend and what hardware I wanted. Talked to the new manager and the new installer. Both were cool and relaxed. Wanted a little upgrade with the price and he threw me an AMAZING deal I couldn't refuse. Ran into a little snafu when I got back to get my truck but was easily and quickly fixed. Not only would I recommend this shop to anyone else, but to anyone who has little to no knowledge of alarms, car stereos, and speakers!
