First red flag: the quote they gave me came in well under what they actually charged. They said I told them it was a Model S. I don't think I did, but either way, I get that glass for an X costs more. Then they insisted I pay my Geico deductible up front, before anything else. And they blew up my phone -- several calls a day until they got that payment. I couldn't always answer because I'm on conference calls and I get a ton of spam calls anyway. It felt weird, but fine, I figured paying first was no big deal. They gave me the option of Zelle or credit card. I used a credit card. Always do. Thank goodness. Glass comes in, they tell me they're ready for me. I asked for the address so I'd know I was going to the right place -- and that's when they told me I'd have to drive to Temecula. 51 minutes away. Nobody mentioned that at any point. I told them no, I'm not driving out there with a cracked windshield, sitting around for three hours, and then driving home in that traffic. They said that's all they could do. No alternative, nothing offered. So I asked for a refund. And that's when they went silent. No calls, no texts, no replies. They said someone would reach out to resolve it. Still waiting. Funny how they had all the time in the world to chase me down when they wanted my money, and none at all when it's time to give it back. Book with them at your own risk, and if you do, use a credit card.

I'm really big on seeing vivid colors and I appreciate the quality work he did because now I could see beautiful colors through my windshield. Expected a little more attention to detail for such a task/price. If you need tint in a rush with appointments asap, this is your spot but maybe an earlier appointment may have helped vs later in the day with the clean up.

I just have to say. Phenomenal job. This is a family owned business, so the customer service reflects that. Just make sure to take to Jay or Alex. I got a full sound system for my Ford F150 here last week. Alex quoted me a price on the phone. I arrived at 9am the next morning, and I left with a subwoofer upgrade and a few other things. I also brought my daughter and niece's car for window tinting on their Camry and Corolla. They love it. I highly recommend the higher quality ceramic or 3M window film if you can afford it... I work in construction so I'm familiar with the high quality. it was worth every penny for me. But that's just cause I hate coming back to a humid car. LOL. Thank you guys. read more

So husband is marine and we get an offer for tint and audio, my husband had duty that day and told me to take the car by my self. So I did, as soon as I got there the guy Alex would not take his eyes off me made me feel very uncomfortable, he kept telling how beautiful and sexy I was and that my husband must have so much fun with me in bed.. wtf who says that to their customer's, I text my husband and tell him what's going on and tells me to just cancel and leave. North County Window Tint is excellent. They have done my last 5 cars with full tint all the way around. I also just had my Jeep Wrangler fully tricked out with two 12' JL subs, two amps, full separate speaker system, new head unit, rocker switches for my lights, winch, CB, etc. Their head installer extraordinaire Matt did wonders. He took care of my Jeep like it was a Maserati. He even fixed an ignition and blinker power related shorts that he found. Truly amazing service from Matt. During my initial visit - A can of window cleaner was left in the back seat, pieces of tint left in my seats, wet driver seat-when returned, streaks down my door panels and windows from the water used -expected but maybe a little wipe down would be nice, since windows can't be rolled down for 3-5 days. Expected a little more attention to detail for such a task/price. If you need tint in a rush with appointments asap, this is your spot but maybe an earlier appointment may have helped vs later in the day with the clean up.

The…read morelast time prior to this recent experience was earlier this year in January to have my brand new vehicle tinted. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my new vehicle. I have a panoramic roof, and I decided not to have it tinted at the time since I had the manufacturer's tint (which really isn't much, it's just colored film rather than tint). The car also has an automated blind cover that I rarely open due to the UV rays/heat exposure. The rest of my windows were tinted with their ceramic tint, so the cabin is relatively cool. However, since my panoramic roof wasn't tinted, and it is now summer, cabin gets so hot and the back seat passengers usually feel the heat during the drive. SO, I came by to have my panoramic roof tinted with 5% ceramic tint (darkest). They get so busy during the summer time, and they were so accommodating to fit me in, and had the work done in a reasonable time, same day. Competitive pricing too! I love that I have this tinted now as I don't feet the heat, and cabin feels nice and cool! Love it! Love their work, as it is of good quality. Service is also great too- friendly, informative, and efficient. Other vendors were quoting double the price of what Shield X asks for too. Highly recommend!

First red flag: the quote they gave me came in well under what they actually charged. They said I told them it was a Model S. I don't think I did, but either way, I get that glass for an X costs more. Then they insisted I pay my Geico deductible up front, before anything else. And they blew up my phone -- several calls a day until they got that payment. I couldn't always answer because I'm on conference calls and I get a ton of spam calls anyway. It felt weird, but fine, I figured paying first was no big deal. They gave me the option of Zelle or credit card. I used a credit card. Always do. Thank goodness. Glass comes in, they tell me they're ready for me. I asked for the address so I'd know I was going to the right place -- and that's when they told me I'd have to drive to Temecula. 51 minutes away. Nobody mentioned that at any point. I told them no, I'm not driving out there with a cracked windshield, sitting around for three hours, and then driving home in that traffic. They said that's all they could do. No alternative, nothing offered. So I asked for a refund. And that's when they went silent. No calls, no texts, no replies. They said someone would reach out to resolve it. Still waiting. Funny how they had all the time in the world to chase me down when they wanted my money, and none at all when it's time to give it back. Book with them at your own risk, and if you do, use a credit card.

Alberto was extremely friendly in very straightforward and honest to the point that he could've sold me something bigger more expensive but he kept it reasonable understanding what it was for, my daughter's first car.
