I would never recommend this place they rip people off without them knowing, I had an alarm I wanted installed that I brought in and while in there I decided to upgrade my speakers in my Lexus is300, so I went with kicker ks series. My factories sounded fine but I wanted an upgrade and I already had 2 12 inch kickers with amp for main base. I left my car there a whole day, when I came to get it 10 mins before they closed I was told that the alarm was installed but he needed more time to finish it because my trunk release wasn't put in a suit only unlocked the drivers door, I said ok. I then got in my car turned on the stereo to listen to my new speakers and they sounded absolutely terrible not even 10% as good as my factory ones did that morning, and my two 12 inch kickers in the trunk are not even coming on and they were working fine when I dropped it off. I was pretty mad at that point. Then I notice hey they didn't even give me back the speakers I was replacing not that big of a deal I guess but I think since they are mine and not bad I should get to choose if I want them. Anyways I bring in the car 4 days later a few days before my appointment to do my alarm completely so they can see there is a serious problem, well the guy I'm assuming is the owner or manager comes and tells me it's the factory amp I have and tells me in order to fix it I need to buy another amp which he says is going to cost me 200 more than the 718.00 I've already paid and acts like he's doing me a favor and not charging me for installation do do it. Not happy I say whatever I guess I don't have a choice, so I'm driving home when it hits me wait a second the speakers I bought came with crossovers and tweeters where are those at they never even bothered to install everything I bought no wonder it sounds so bad they are ripping me off by doing whatever they wanted with my other speakers and not even installing everything I bought. I didn't even show up to my appointment because this is how they conduct there business ripping people off and not even giving them what they pay for. This will not be accepted by me nor should it by anyone else. I will be filing in small claims because this is not except-able way to do business especially during this COVID mess. read more

-BUYER BEWARE! - This place will go from soldering your stereo wires to sodomizing your car and wallet. The place is shady. Terrible customer service. Their waiting area is a makeshift corridor utilizing unsold speakers and amps. They take forever to work on your car. They made me wait 2 hours before telling me that they couldn't work on my car because they did not have the parts on stock and told me to come back the next morning. Brought my car back in at 9AM. Was told it would take approximately 2 hours to get everything installed. It was well over an hour that I waited before they even brought my car into the shop. Ended up getting picked up. Called them to see the status on the car and they told me it would be done at 4PM. 7 Hours to install. What the actual fuck. The douchebag guy "helping" me must really dislike Sony. I went in asking for a Sony head unit but he would come up with a BS response saying that their (Sony) products are garbage and that Kenwood and Pioneer were indeed the "master race" in the world of aftermarket head units. I beg to differ. They also did a terrible job at wiring everything. Factory USB no longer functions correctly, they placed the XM radio satellite antenna in a very vulnerable spot, left pry marks from a screwdriver on the dash, wire clippings all over the car, and instead of hooking up the factory back-up camera to the aftermarket head unit, they added a hideous "license plate frame" back up camera to my car so now I have 2 cameras on the back of my car with only one working. And to top everything all off, they STOLE my stock head unit. You would think they would be courteous enough to place it back in your car or to at least call and remind you that you forgot something, but unfortunately they are not. Don't fall for all those other 5-star ratings you see. If I could pay Yelp money to give negative star reviews, I would pay them more for those than I would have paid these jerk offs to work on my car. If they can do such an abomination of a job on my car, what makes you think they won't do it to yours? Please do not give these guys your business. I was very thrilled, excited, and amazed with the service and installation that I received from Advanced Car Stereo. What I really liked about them was that everyone was really friendly and cool with answering the questions I had and that since I brought one of my own units they let me know if I needed anything and how much everything was going to cost before I continued with the installation. Plus as a bonus after everything was done he even showed me his own stereo setup in his car. As a bonus they fixed up a couple components that I needed tightening or fixing up and they did it with no questions asked. I felt very comfortable. They weren't trying to upsell me anything, they just looked at what I had and went from there now my car sounds way better than before like you could really tell the difference between before and after. I highly recommended talking to Chris, he really helped me out a lot and didn't try to force me into buying anything that I didn't need and I don't know if it was because it was my first time there but he even threw some extra parts in there for no cost at all. AWESOME Service, I am extremely happy with the service I received. The staff was polite and helped me find the speakers I wanted. They answered all my questions about the quality and grade of the speakers, to top it off I went in after their 4th of July sale and still got such a great deal that I ended up redoing my entire system. They rewired the old rat nest that was in my car, made all the wires nice and straight and uniformed, and then hid them all so the entire car looks stock but will blow your ear drums away. It sounds like I am center stage at a concert no matter what I am listening to. I definitely recommend this place. 5 out of 5 STARS!!! Can't say enough good things. Had a system installed by another installer *coughs* Best Buy Murrieta, trucks battery instantly started draining and would be dead the following morning. Took it to Best Buy and was told nope nothing wrong refused to pull the dash and inspect the wiring just said it is probably the alternator. Had everything tested and replaced the battery, still dying. Took it to Advanced they were nothing by nice and understanding. Owner got in the truck since I had the dash apart already going through wiring and he said that's your problem right there they installed the wrong module for a vehicle that had steering controls, which I repeatedly told Best Buy it does not have. I decided to replace the stereo all together and Advanced had it wired up with a back up camera in less than two hours for a great deal. Truck not even hesitating on the start this morning. My experience with Advanced Car Stereo, Murrieta was amazing. I was looking to replace the stock system in my 2019 Tacoma after Toyota dropped support for their Entune NAV system. Al and Sam spent a good amount of time answering my many, many questions and taking the time to show me the feature sets of different head units. I decided on a Pioneer head unit with GPS navigation, 6 kicker speakers, amplifier and a slim subwoofer hidden behind a rear seat. The crew there did a great job installing everything clean and solid and at a very reasonable price. I was able to retain all steering wheel controls, USB data connection for my phone and SXM. On 5-22-17 called ahead then brought in my classic Landrover as the subwoofer seemed to drain the battery daily requiring jumpstart. Electrical problem with radio, possibly from extremely rough roads, correctly diagnosed and radio replaced with totally amazing and affordable replacement, and the Pioneer also has bluetooth. Problem solved! Kyler took the time to demonstrate use of the new radio in my car. More new features plus bluetooth and also installed a microphone Not a long wait but Kyler even put on a movie for the wait. Lady at the register also helpful as to possible installation replacements/features/expense options. Glad to have the classic brought up-to-date from the prior aftermarket installation, quickly. EXCELLENT customer service! I purchased an expensive AVIC-8100 from them after going in to have xm radio. Firstly, there was no pressure up sell; I did it myself after asking about options. Secondly, not all the parts were available because my car was so new and they totally installed those items when they came in with zero hassle. Thirdly, my expensive unit, months later, started having a huge problem with the phone bluetooth connection and they swapped in a brand new one with zero hassle. Fourthly, the staff is amazingly helpful and nice. They know what they're doing and they stand behind their work and materials. I feel very lucky to have chosen them from all the local options. I was shopping around for a bass package for my commuter car. It's an old Honda Civic so I didn't want to spend too much. I spoke with a lady at the front counter. She came out and looked at my car and recommended that I just put a single 10 with a 600 watt amp. She was very helpful and knowledgable. I gave her a price I wanted to keep it under and she even went $100 below that number. On top of that she gave me a military discount. The install took about an hour and a half. Awesome service, as soon as I walked in the offered to help me, offered me some water and answered every question I had. I was surprised at the customer service quality I received. It is extremely hard to find these days. I got a great deal for mothers day and bought my wife a nice sound system, they installed it quick and without hassle. I shopped around to see what the prices were like and again I was surprised, they were 80.00 cheaper on the stereo and 65.00 cheaper on the speakers. I had my stereo system installed here in my mustang gt. I was so extremely happy, I even offered to help them out with my business. Anyone can email me and I would be glad to send you pics of the work they do. I can't express how happy I have been with my system and navigation unit they installed. They hooked up 2 12" subs and a navigation unit and hid all the wires, you cant even tell its a custom job, it looks like it was factory installed. I brought my car here to get some bass and speakers and ended up getting a full system. the pioneer 8200 is amazing everything the sales person said and more, it took about half the day and I must say I was very impressed on the cleanliness of the install no wires visible and amps mounted out of the way. the installer larry went out of his way to make sure the usb and bass knob was ran exactly where and how I wanted it. he also took almost an hour to explain each product and there purpose I would definitely recommend coming here for a install they do everything read more
