SATISFIED CUSTOMER!! Let me tell you, had I wrote this review in the beginning they would have received negative stars. Came here to upgrade my radio in my 2011 Hyundai. Shopped around but went with them because I was assured a good price and expedited service. Those things are important. Single mom with a TIGHT schedule. I gave the down payment on Friday and was promised it'd be done by Sunday. Sounds great right?!?! NOPE! It ended up taking a couple of weeks. Long story short, products weren't in stock when I was told they were, wrong parts were ordered, and timelines were miscommunicated. Soooo frustrating. BUT LET ME TELL YOU HOW THEY TURNED MY FROWN UPSIDE DOWN. The gentleman I originally dealt with was let go (he was bad for business)....Damian the great stepped in and worked his magic! The manager drove to LA to pick up the part I needed, Larry prioritized my vehicle because I had already been waiting and Joshua finished up the job when I was able to return. These gentleman went above and beyond to make me the customer satisfied. I am glad I gave them a chance. Stuff happens, I get it but not all companies are willing to take accountability the way Advanced Car Stereo did. Thank you guys for taking care of me!!! These guys let me bring in a crossover that I bought from somebody that had some water damage to be tested. They tested the crossover and confirmed it wasn't working which saved me time from pulling my door apart to install! They gave me a a set just so that I could get my door speakers up and running and they didn't have to do that but because I was a return customer, they didn't try to sell me something. They have great hours & are open Sundays. I came here to see if they could repair the screen in my 07 Lexus IS 350 that randomly went out while I was driving. I was told I'd need a new one & was quoted $150 to install. I returned a week later with a monitor I ordered and when I went to pay, I was asked how much was I quoted. I don't like that because it seems like there's not a set price. I also didn't price around to see if that was the going rate. They were done in like 30 minutes. read more

Complete waste of time. Came in around noon, and the person who booked my service said it would be done in a few hours. After 2 1/2 hours, I was assured that my service to my car was next in queue. After waiting for 4 hours, the service had not even started. Another customer who came in around at the same time and waited for 4 hour and was still waiting by the time I left. He was promised one and half hours. I was glad that I could just walk away. This deserves a one-star review, but I'm adding a point because the staff member who processed my refund was polite and apologetic. Unfortunately, it doesn't change the fact that I'll be taking my business elsewhere and leaving a bad review. read more

I purchased a set of brand new Morimoto XB Ambers headlights for my Tundra and had it installed at a different shop and afterwards, an error code on the dash came on but he was not able to figure out the issue. I consulted with numerous shops and all said "we can take a look but not guarantee that it will be fixed". Not only that, they are charging me for this. Then I came across this shop while driving by and decided to give them a shot. I spoke with Tony and explained to him the issue. He said bring it and we'll fix it. Honestly this place only cares about the money. I reached out then visited the shop searching for replacement speakers as a gift for my boyfriend's 2008 Tacoma. Tony, who offered to guide me, sold me a pair of speakers while failing to mention it wouldn't exactly fit his truck. Then, my boyfriend took his truck to the shop and met Tony who sold him a super cheap system and wiring that after a lot of back and forth left his stereo system absolutely messed up. Way worse than it was before and almost $800 later. My boyfriend dropped by a couple of times after to try to get it fixed but all Tony cared about was upgrading his system to a more expensive one. When he realized he wasn't going to get the payday he was hoping for, he absolutely shut down all his customer servicing and became borderline rude and completely dismissive of our concerns saying things like "whatever" or "do what you want", instead of guiding us with realistic expectations. My boyfriend ended up at another stereo shop (A-Z Car Stereo) in Murrieta where they were extremely friendly, helpful and even offered a financing plan for their installation and products. He's happier than ever with his new system NOT FROM HERE. And attached is a picture of the trash ACS installed. You've been warned. read more

so I took my 1962 impala convertible maybe 2 years ago. I decided to refresh my dash and redo the trim and paint. Then I saw how my radio and speakers were installed and let me just say, it was probadly the worst install ive seen. The head unit was screwed right into the glove box liner. The speakers were missing screws and one side was just held by the kick panel screen. The speaker box in the back wasn't even mounted, just placed in the rear hoping it would my move I guess. 2000$ for some kicker door speakers, and a Sony head unit that was beyond disappointing. Lost my onboard settings for DRL and alarm. Lost every one of my usb ports, lost the factory reverse camera which was replaced by one that was attached to the bumper and lasted 4 days. Door panels were not snapped back together and I hear wires slapping around inside the door panels when I turn. Extra wires were tied in knots and left hanging under the truck. My new truck has depreciated as a result of the work performed. The speakers sound worse than the factory speakers did. I took my truck back to have them fix it and seeing how it was returned for a second time confirmed that they are not interested in selling me what suits my interests and needs for my vehicle, but rather what yields them the most profits. read more

Brought my BRAND NEW vehicle here to have my system installed, I got a broken panel on my door which they still haven't replaced it's been weeks. They didn't bolt my box down so it slid all over and damage to the box. One day all of sudden the whole sound goes out, they told me it was a blown speaker on one of the doors and they supposedly replaced it but the whole thing sounded like shit so I brought it back AGAIN then they told me it was all good to go I made sure before I left everything was good as far as the sound and low and behold the sound goes out again they then tell me it was a bad RCA. Not only that after every time I had to bring it back there's new screws laying around inside my vehicle like where the heck are those from is my engine going to fall out or one of my doors going to fall off?? I had Advanced Car Stereo install a complex and somewhat obscure interface module for my 2014 Porsche Boxster that adds wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto to the stock system, along with front and rear cameras. I was blown away by how perfectly they did everything. It now looks and acts OEM, but with a completely modern setup like a new car. They did a perfect job installing the cameras exactly as requested, and all of the interior and exterior panels look untouched. It was important to me that everything remains stock, and this was a pretty difficult install, so to have it done so well is awesome.
