Typical long stay motel/hotel type guests loitering around outside. I'd say it's a fine place for the price relative to other options in the area. Just be vigilant and probably don't leave anything in your car. That's more related to town as a whole and not just the block where this motel is located.

Our bartender was great she was friendly had some great conversations with us and made the visit there that much better. We learned a lot about the area and found out she was originally not to far from where we are from. They have a great selection of beers and drinks, oysters and even have veggie dogs for the vegetarians out there. If you're in the area check this place out it's cozy and made for you to stay a while. Definitely want to come back up here and visit again.

She even threaten to hang up and end the call. Poor customer service from Tina G. I hope someone above her sees this review. When I come back I would go recommend another hotel or best western in old town.

It faced the Sportsman Store with RVs parked all hours of the day so I wasn't very comfortable stepping outside or to have the dark curtains open. Large mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. You get an table with 2 chairs and a desk/desk chair. The location was perfect as it's just about an 9mins drive to the sequoia zoo skywalk and the dunes. Nearby there's also In N Out, drive thru fast food restaurants, plenty of stores and gas stations. There's an ice machine and vending machines on each floor. Dogs are welcome for a fee, $30. The hot tub and pool area is gorgeous. Provided a very nice ambiance during the day and night. Parking free and complimentary breakfast was decently basic.

This site was a good fit. We had to park the Jeep away from our site because there wasn't any room for it. The park and people working here were good. The grounds around the RV park were in poor condition. The grass between the sites were very long. No edging either. The WiFi was good and the place was clean otherwise. The big problem was the street access coming into and exiting the RV Park was terrible! Pit holes so large you would of thought land mines had gone off. This is unacceptable!!! Going in and out each day was a major chore. Kind wouldn't stay here again unless the road is fixed. Oh heck no!!!!!

All of the chairs in the dining room sink so low, you can just rest your chin on the table and shovel it in. What I found most problematic with this hotel is the lip service to ADA accommodations. There are no grab bars in the bathroom, not even soap dishes you could cling too if you slipped on the very slippery tub floor. The lighting and the switches to the lighting are incredible dim in the room making impossible to see with black on black backgrounds. For low visibility people, the randomly placed 'mood' lighting keeps people like me in the dark. Finally, for people with physical disabilities, getting one's luggage on a cart, then to an elevator, then into a room with extremely heavy doors that swing back so quickly, an injury is almost guaranteed. Unfortunately, I experienced all of this at Holiday Inn express in Eureka. I mentioned some of my difficulties to the registration desk, staff, and as nice as they were, they didn't care... they say they'll remodel next year, but if they really cared about providing accommodations for Americans with disabilities, they make the changes now.

The beds seemed to be firm and the pillows were comfortable. My husband and I had a good night sleep. They offer hard and soft pillows and they are labeled as such on the pillowcases. Never seen that at a hotel before. Room came with a microwave & fridge which was nice to keep our snacks and water cool for the next days journey. Breakfast was complimentary, lots to offer. Eggs, turkey & pork sausage pancakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and more that I don't remember. The offer onsite laundry room, a pool and jacuzzi and a workout gym. We didn't have a chance to use these but they were available. The parking lot has a brick half wall with a metal fence around the building. We felt safe where we parked, we checked often and never saw anyone snooping around. You will need a room key to get into the side entrance of building. When we come back to Eureka we will definitely book Holiday inn Express again. We felt very comfortable here and the hotel was centrally located torestaurants stores and gas stations.

The hot tub was quite frighteningly colored, buttttt i got in anyway and havent died or broken out yet. So i guess the human soup is safe ish The washing machine situation was nice though, if you download the app you get a free wash or dry, and if you download it on a different phone you get another free one... just saying. The pillows are so small that at one point i thought i had lost the pillow off the bed but then i looked and it was there. It was basically a sheet of paper with a pillowcase. Pictures were inaccurate on airbnb, which wasnt my fave but oh well. Good for camping but not accurately listed sooo do with that what you will. It was fun but go into it as YOU ARE CAMPING. Yesterday, I saw campers playing chess with the life-size chess game, there's a playground - the pool and hot tub are closed right now pending inspection from the city, so that can't be helped. The woman who works in the office is so friendly and helpful - unlike the first four RV parks I checked out. I just double-checked to make sure I am reviewing the right place. The grounds are beautiful - the cabins are adorable - the campsites are clean and inviting - I walked the whole property yesterday and didn't see any old, run-down residential RVs. There are lots of people staying here, many young families with small children, and everybody seems to be friendly and happy. The only legitimate "complaint" is that the Wifi doesn't always work, but the management is working on making the Wifi more reliable. In short, I am so glad to be here and feel extremely lucky that I found this campground when I needed to move my RV.
