This place is a gem…read more We were in the area visiting the National Park and my partner wanted to come here for oysters. We stayed to hang out, got a tour of the place and it was amazing. Our bartender was great she was friendly had some great conversations with us and made the visit there that much better. We learned a lot about the area and found out she was originally not to far from where we are from. They have a great selection of beers and drinks, oysters and even have veggie dogs for the vegetarians out there. If you're in the area check this place out it's cozy and made for you to stay a while. Definitely want to come back up here and visit again.

The grounds around the RV park were in poor condition. The grass between the sites were very long. No edging either. The WiFi was good and the place was clean otherwise. The big problem was the street access coming into and exiting the RV Park was terrible! Pit holes so large you would of thought land mines had gone off. This is unacceptable!!! Going in and out each day was a major chore. Kind wouldn't stay here again unless the road is fixed. Oh heck no!!!!!

You have to put your key in this little slot by the inside of the door to keep the lights on. Once you leave and remove it the light go off to help save electricity great idea, At least I couldn't forget where I put my room key haha. The beds seemed to be firm and the pillows were comfortable. My husband and I had a good night sleep. They offer hard and soft pillows and they are labeled as such on the pillowcases. Never seen that at a hotel before. Room came with a microwave & fridge which was nice to keep our snacks and water cool for the next days journey. Breakfast was complimentary, lots to offer. Eggs, turkey & pork sausage pancakes, cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and more that I don't remember. The offer onsite laundry room, a pool and jacuzzi and a workout gym. We didn't have a chance to use these but they were available. The parking lot has a brick half wall with a metal fence around the building. We felt safe where we parked, we checked often and never saw anyone snooping around. You will need a room key to get into the side entrance of building. When we come back to Eureka we will definitely book Holiday inn Express again. We felt very comfortable here and the hotel was centrally located torestaurants stores and gas stations.

Our check-in was quick and efficient. Front desk staff is very friendly. The lobby is modern and chic. They have plenty of tables, couches and chairs that create a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for people-watching, play card games, dining, etc. Did I mention they have fresh coffee 24/7...yes please! Our room was spacious, clean and most importantly; the bed was super comfy. The indoor pool was a plus for families traveling with children, it looked nice and warm (I did not use it) but other guests seem to be having a blast. Because they had issues.. asked Why the office was closed. We also witnessed a Mercedes camper van come in really late parked woke up really super early and left probably without paying.. lol probably avoidable if the office was occupied.. 8. No fridge anywhere, no microwave in cabin but theres one in the office, along with coffee, tea, and hot coco, but you can only get it when the office is open, which is basically never. The hot tub was quite frighteningly colored, buttttt i got in anyway and havent died or broken out yet. So i guess the human soup is safe ish The washing machine situation was nice though, if you download the app you get a free wash or dry, and if you download it on a different phone you get another free one... just saying. The pillows are so small that at one point i thought i had lost the pillow off the bed but then i looked and it was there. It was basically a sheet of paper with a pillowcase. Pictures were inaccurate on airbnb, which wasnt my fave but oh well. Good for camping but not accurately listed sooo do with that what you will. It was fun but go into it as YOU ARE CAMPING. Not an airbnb.
