This is my new favorite place in Humboldt. I want to say that parking is a bit confusing but once coming in, I parked to the left a few feet after driving in. There is no one to greet you or show you around when you arrive so you have to wander a bit. Once I actually found the people, the service was a 10/10. Everyone here is really nice and friendly. You buy your wine at the house looking area up some wooden steps. You can buy your food at the stand and they give you a buzzer. It is self seating so you can sit anywhere you'd like. I can't give enough compliments on the location. It is an outdoor winery so you eat and have drinks outside. There is so much greenery and everything is maintained wonderfully. It is extremely appealing to the eye. If you want a good spot to impress your date, this is it. Last is the food. The pizza is so good and fresh tasting. The crust was light and the flavors were very fresh. The sliced ribeye was just as fresh. It comes on it cold and isn't too overly seasoned. This is good if you want something earthy tasting with some bread. Very simple ingredients but great put together. Would definitely come again. This review is for a concert I attended on a Friday night in summer. Wow, was this place packed! Everyone within a 5 mile radius must have been there! Servers were nice. Wine was ok, I'd give it another chance at a proper tasting. One star off because the food took about an hour and because there was zero direction on how or where to check in for my table reservation (unclear if I was to just go to the table bearing a tag with my name or check in with someone). In all, though, I'd go back for a concert, but arrive before 6 pm to ensure a parking spot and avoid a long wait for food. read more

3.5 stars... Came here for a wedding. Was a little hard to find at first and thought we passed it. Parking is a little hard to come by and restrooms were basically porta potty status. However, the setting for the wedding would've been hard to come by otherwise - paddleboats, a lily pad pond with frogs, and fountains. The mosquitoes were pretty bad (although I was the only one who was bit) and the catering was great (although that was done by an off-site caterer). Beautiful location and delicious wine. The Barbera is a delicious compliment to any sharp cheese. And the Nebbiolo is smooth and yummy on its own. Unfortunately did not have a good experience. Their Yelp page has photos advertising $8 flights - we drove a half hour on our vacation to sample these only to walk up and be informed they don't serve flights "when it's busy". How is anyone possibly supposed to know that? $11 per glass only. Ok fine, we pick one out and ask for a glass. "Oh we don't offer that particular one by the glass, bottle only". As she's ironically standing in front of a sign that says ANY wine $11 per glass. So instead of the anticipated two flights for $16 we had two glasses of okay wine we didn't wind up finishing for $22. Was very crowded, took awhile to find a table. I imagine the venue would have been nice but there were so many people it was hard to tell. read more

I cannot wait to go back! I went to the White Wine and Crab Fest, we had such a great time! The entire winery was beautiful, we explored the whole property and sat down and drank wine along the way. This is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and drink wine (2 of my favorite things)... The crab was some of the freshest I've ever had, seeing as they support their local fishermen!! A group of friends and I went to a special event where we paid $30/each for a crab lunch that came with fresh salad, fresh bread, and sauces, in addition to a glass of wine. The facilities are beautiful! This winery often puts together different events that highlight their wines while pairing them with delicious eats. There is a beautiful pond with a wooden footbridge, and a cozy little upstairs tasting room with comfortable seating around a wood stove. This would be a great place to take friends who are visiting the area. It's also an ideal date night if you check their calendar for special events! This is hands down, one of my favorite places to go on a Sunday with my family! Not only is the wine delicious (love the Sauvignon Blanc!), but the grounds are beautiful and engaging. My kids love the gnome hunt and earning their sweet reward for finding them all. In the summer we get to use the paddle boats or kayaks to cruise around the pond. Their wood fired pizzas are delicious, and their cheese boards feature local delicacies. I can't say enough how much I adore Fieldbrook Winery! read more

I am hesitant to write a review simply because I want this winery to myself and do not want to share. But this hidden gem deserves to be experienced by all who enjoy a causal and peaceful place to drink wine, eat local food, and be with loved ones. The grounds are small, but magical with a mystic secret garden feel. Staff are primarily made up of family who own the vineyard and provide excellent service without any pretentiousness. There is ample sun, shade, and room for reflective wandering around the ancient redwoods and quaint pond. One of my favorite places to go to! Went on a date here last year and am sooo happy to hear they are opening back up. Not only is their wine delicious but they have gourmet pizza. What's not to love!? At the time we were able to gather around a fire where we had plenty of wood, a nice view and all around good company, which included the guests and friendly staff. They also had pedal boats we were able to take for a joyride in the gorgeous lily pad pond and after had some fun playing horseshoes. Very spacious landscape and decks that allowed for ample room to mingle without being too close to other guests. Will definitely be returning. Every time a guest comes from out of town I suggest this place and calling for reservations. Worth the visit. read more

We love this place! The physical spaces, both indoors and out, are lovely! It is so peaceful and relaxing to sit and sip on the decks overlooking the grounds and pond below, or to enjoy seating at tables on the grass in the sun or shade of the trees. Fieldbrook Winery holds a special place in my heart because I got married here. This past weekend we decided to go and get some fresh air and revisit the location where we said our "I Do's". From the moment we got there, we were greeted with a warm smile and clear instructions as to where to park and where to sit. Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic the winery is taking every percussion to keep everyone safe and you still feel at home. It was a relaxing time and we had some delicious charcuterie boards and enjoyed the white sangria (made with their Rose of Pinot Noir grapes). The sangria was so refreshing and had so much fruit. I definitely do recommend this location to visit, you can enjoy good food, amazing wine and if you have great company its a plus. Time goes by fast when you are having fun. read more

We went to the winery today for lunch. A few things you need to know: reservations only and I believe they are only open on Sunday. You preorder and prepay, including a 18% gratuity (which will come into play later in this review). When you arrive someone at the entrance "checks you in" and tells you where to park, where your table is, that someone would bring our preordered food to us, and where to go to get beer and wine. We got to our table and sat for a while and no one paid us any attention. After at least 15-20 minutes without anyone even stopping by to say hi we sent someone up to the tasting room to see if we needed to let someone know we were here or what we had to do. We were told we had already been checked in and someone would bring us our food and provide us with a pizza and wine menu. After another 15-20 minutes someone finally came to our table and unceremoniously put our charcuterie plate, fruit plate and two salads down. Didn't say hi, didn't ask if we had any questions, didn't ask if we needed anything. We stopped her from leaving and asked about how to select what pizza we wanted and what options they had for drinks. She offered to bring us paper menus, and did. We then proceeded to go back to the tasting room to order our pizza and drinks. After close to 45 minutes our pizzas finally showed up. During the 2+ hours we were there the waitresses uttered about 3 sentences (all of which were answers to our questions). We even had to ask them to clear some plates as they didn't even offer to do that. The gentleman in the tasting room was very friendly and helpful. The location was very nice - tables far apart so you had privacy, most had some type of shade, and very relaxing environment. The food was all good. Only complaint was the woefully lacking service, and because the tip was already included it appears they really don't care about their customers. I'm deducting 2 stars for service alone. They should not be charging an automatic 18% gratuity - for the service we received I probably wouldn't have even tipped at all (and I always tip a minimum of 20%). read more
