Off the local country road…read morebetween the town of Lewiston and Hwy 299 towards Weaverville, you will find a small winery in a small home with a lovely garden area to welcome you in. The wife/owner was a lovely woman served our tasting. The tasting room was a combination of vintage, wine and craft gift shop with a wonderful tasting bar to sample the wines. We tried the Chardonnay, Rose', Merlot, and Harvest Rogue. The tasting is $5 a person and is waived with purchase. Each wine was wonderful and we bought one bottle of each! Their wines were reasonably priced around $20. Also, we called the day before to see if they were open. There was no answer and 20 minutes later we received a call back, from Ernie asking what they could do for us! Also my son made friends with their sweet doggie!

We tried the the Chardonnay, Rose', Red Blend, Merlot, and late harvest red. All very well made. Wine maker Ernie knows what he is doing, and the delightfully affable wine pourer Crystal provides the finishing touch for an enjoyable wine tasting experience. The grounds surrounding the tasting room are green and colorful and very well kept. They're a perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a picnic with a bottle of wine. The Pinot Gris and Cab Sauv weren't ready on the day we tasted, so we'll be coming back soon! Tasting fee is $5, which is waived with a purchase of two very reasonably priced wines.

Augustino Vineyard and Winery, Obrien, OR - September 28, 2024…read more This is the third Harvest Host vineyard and winery we've been to. So far, we're batting a thousand - all great experiences. This is another great place to park your RV for a night or two, enjoy some nice scenery, try some good wine, and just hang out if it suits your fancy. The communication with the Harvest Host was good. We were given good instructions to find the winery off of Highway 199. As you're driving in on Gene Brown Road you'll come to two signs, one says Tasting Room with an arrow pointing straight ahead, the other sign says Harvest Host with an arrow pointing to the left. You turn left there and drive short ways in. On the right hand side you'll see the sites 9 through 12. You pick an empty spot and get set up. We stayed in site 12 the first night. It's a very spacious site with a picnic table and nice trees overhead. Once we got our site set up and we drove up to the winery and tasting room, which is about a half a mile away. It is a very cool treehouse tasting room. It has both an indoor seating area as well as a beautiful outdoor patio with about seven or eight tables. Our hostess's name was Angel. She was very friendly and set us up with some nice flights of wine. Wines are reasonably priced in the $25-$36 range. We tried a Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Temprano, and Cabernet Savignon. All the wines were very nicely done. The tasting fee is $12 per person, which is waived with a two bottle purchase. We ended up getting two bottles of Chardonnay. Angel gave us some good advice about things to do while we were in the area. We went to Cave Junction the following day after we moved our motorhome to a full hook up paid site a little closer to the tasting room. After visiting Cave Junction, we went over to the tasting room again at around three in the afternoon and had a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio and enjoyed it on the elevated outdoor patio. The view of the property from the full hook up paid sites is very nice. You can see the vineyard and then the beautiful tree covered mountains in the distance. We were very happy with our stay here.

One of the best wineries I've been too and I grew up in wine country and have been to hundreds. Beyond Impressive. The tasting room is a flipping treehouse. This is the one place you go in Southern Oregon if your tasting and I would go last. Don't miss this place. Wish i had bought a full case and not a half but we planned on buying elsewhere that day but sadly nope . Only this place was in the league imo.

I had plans to spend the holidays with the family in the Bay Area so I had to "stock up" with Humboldt products, particularly Dick Taylor chocolates and Moonstone Crossing wine. I was blessed to have Hayley on duty when I visited. As usual, she listened to what my planned event was and suggested some excellent choices. I was surprised to see that she had her "own" blend...HAYLEY'S COMET. I cracked up when I saw that she had modified the logo to feature her dog! I wound up purchasing several of her own blend as well as an assortment of other reds. As usual, the family loved the wine, especially Hayley's product. Thanks again for making me so happy to "rep" Humboldt when I travel!

The only kinda weird thing is it's not a flight so you have to actually come back to the counter and get more which interrupted my girl conversation outside! No biggie but would be nice to have all 4 at once as I like to kinda taste between them. Either way, I liked 3/4 of the wines and I went home with a bottle of the red rose whatever that was haha. The inside of the shop itself is absolutely adorable, cozy, and welcoming. Super close to Trinidad head where you can see gorgeous views. Great place and I recommend!
