This is a very pricey restaurant especially since you cannot get specialty pizza on the personal pan nor can you half a pizza and get certain toppings on one side and a specialty on the other. They were out of many menu items today too. The pizza is just okay before you think of price and menu limits. I would recommend just going to Pizza Man since it's so close, better tasting, and they will split specialty pizzas. They are cheaper too. Neely's is also a good alternative but a further drive into Mandeville. This will be my last visit to Norma's. read more

This place was awful. After reading the reviews on yelp, we were super excited to try it, but man... were we disappointed. The pizza literally tastes like they bought it out of the frozen section at the grocery store. The waitress raved about the homemade desserts, so she told us to ask the owner who was at the counter checking out customers. When we asked her about it, she said she makes them when she feels like it and sometimes holds them for her "regular customers". My husband was so outdone by her comment, that he swore we would never step foot in there again. I just had to write this review in response to the only other review posted so far (the 1 star review). My wife and I went to Norma's last week and shared a large artichoke and feta cheese pizza. It was probably the best pizza we have ever had -and we've had pizzas all over the world. We plan to go again tonight and in checking Yelp to make sure they are open Sundays, I noticed the other review. Let me say that after ordering our pizza last week, Norma came out of the kitchen after several minutes to introduce herself and to apologize. She said that she had thrown away the first pizza they had made for us because she didn't consider it well made enough. She explained that they had over-compensated for the wet artichokes and the pizza came out a bit too crispy -not up to her standards. So they threw it out. Wow. Never had that happen before. Usually in most place they throw something in the pizza oven and you get what you get. Anyway, the replacement came out a couple of minutes later and it was excellent. So, five stars for the pizza and for an owner that cares that much about what she serves her customers. By the way, looking around at what other people were eating (besides pizzas), the calzone someone else was eating looked like a big, brown, crispy pillow -I want to try that myself. read more

There is absolutely nothing about the pizza here that is homemade except for the dough. The dough is the easiest its a machine. Everything else is from a can or frozen such as meatballs, marinara, eggplant sticks,roastbeef etc. A 2 week class on how to make pizza c'mon. If you can place a Sysco order your a pro.
