This is the Nordstrom Rack across from Twelve Oaks. It's a decent size store. The store was very neat and tidy. The Nordstrom Racks back home are a bit messier. They had some pretty nice clothing. What I loved most was their huge shoe section. I saw a pair of sneakers that I really wanted, but there was no room in the suitcase. The hubby purchased some soap to use while we were there. It's definitely a location where a lot of stuff is out of order and seems just thrown together, but on some rare occasions, you'll find some great bargains. The service is great and typically smooth sailing, but can be some issues with sale items not ringing up properly. Wish they would rotate out old items and replace them with others more often. read more

Went to see if I could find another dark washed Joe's skinny jeans for me and Joe's for my husband too. The lines aren't bad here at all, not compared to Kohl's. The cut off bottoms are all I could find for me and light washed and boot cuts and boyfriend cut too. I don't know about you, but I have never been into wearing any BF jeans at all. The men's jeans were all on the rack and all over the bed place, not on shelves for the Joe's brand here at all. I didn't want to sift through the flurry and chaotic mess of jeans strewn everywhere here. Empty handed in the end. read more

The service is not the same at the Rack as it is at Nordstrom. The staff is usually abrupt and not the most pleasant to deal with.

during the day the staff are different than the ones in the evening the ones in the evening just do not want to be there and they are slow movement and have poor customer service skills, and very rude! they are just waiting for their shift to end and can care less about the customer. never walking into this place again.!!! this is the Novi location across from 12 Oaks Mall. if you must go make sure it's during the day and evening time. read more

I require durability, the jeans need to last an enduring straddling session weekly. I ride the nag for hours at a time. Perusing about I softly stepped both my homosapien hoofs into each corresponding leg shaft of denims. The fresh blend of indigo treated threading combined with its form fitting alignment made my rumpus exceptionally toned. Instantly I was over encumbered with ecstasy radiating from my waistline, I could feel the warmth and pulsating heat from beneath my gullet pouch. It had finally happened, the perfect pair of jeans. And for only $69.99 each. I left that day with a leap years worth of trousers. Parking is easily accessible and this location is convenient in Novi. The selection is hit or miss, but I've found some cute sunglasses and tops here. It wasn't especially busy on a Friday night after the Polar Vortex hitting the area, so that was expected. The workers are not the friendliest when it comes to retail, they are just mediocre at best. I just enjoyed looking around and ended up just buying a couple of tops in anticipation of spring that will eventually arrive. read more

Nordstrom Rack - The #2 - Women's Clothing Near Me - Novi, Michigan

The cashier ruined my day. I came in for a pickup order, stood in line and she looked at me, and took someone from the checkout line. When it was my turn being the only one in line, she was rude and loud. I needed to exchange shoes I bought brand new that have clearly been used, and the cashier yelled so everyone could hear that should would not be doing that and I have to go in the other line. Then lastly, I was missing something from my order and she told me I was wrong and needed to step aside. I left the store beat red and confused. I still need to get the rest of my order but do not want to subject myself to that treatment again. This really sucks. read more

This place was okay. Backstory: I've been to the Nordstrom Rack NYC location, but no Michigan locations. I live right by the Troy location (and it's in the same plaza as my gym, actually) but have yet to set foot in it ... one day, one day. My mom and I were doing some shopping at DSW over the weekend and she suggested we stop in here, I needed some new clothes. My first thought when I walked in was "it looks like Marshalls!" (or TJ Maxx) They had a good selection of some stuff I was looking at (undergarments) and good prices. The line to check out was long, though. I tried a few things on but didn't end up actually buying anything. I'd come back here when in the area but I was disappointed that it wasn't as nice as the NYC one I went to (unrealistic expectations, maybe, but still). read more

I am very disappointed about what this location has become. I do enjoy shopping at Nordstrom Rack and would come here for clothing, but today this store has become closer to a TJ Maxx or Marshal's experience. Now, I do want to preface this by saying I do shop at TJ Maxx and Marshal's as well, but they provide a particular experience. They are more for those treasure bargain hunts since they seem to get their stock from multiple sources. Nordstrom Rack should be getting their supply from their department store. This store used to have those types of brand names, and was more organized. Now everything was all over the place, very hard to find anything without going on that treasure hunt. Not the experience I am looking for when I come here. It was very messy, disorganized, and multiple products did not even appear to be marked down. They have the coveted sugarfina advent calendars and they were marked as the regular price but were all beat up and used looking. I would not trust it and would rather just order it online from the company. why bother even offering these products if they are not discounted but look like they have been tampered with. Their shoes were very picked over and looked used. I could just go next door to DSW and get newer looking ones for cheaper. They did have some cute PJ sets that were super adorable, but it was very hard to find brand name discounted items. Too many no brand items that seemed cheap and lacked quality. I would rather just look for sales at the department store, and have a better experience. I do not think I would shop at this location again for now. read more

I'll start by saying that Nordstrom Rack...probably in my top three stores to shop for clothing. This location...unfortunately, not as good as the Troy store, for men's clothing at least. It wasn't very busy when I went, due to weather but it wasn't overly spiffy considering. I felt the selection was a little lacking too, especially for men's shoes. So this place only gets 3 stars because of how clean and organized this place was for how busy it was. I couldn't believe how many people were in this store. I went in thinking, ok this place is going to be cheaper then the actual Nordstrom in the mall... Ahh... Na... If the prices here are cheaper then Nordstrom, then Nordstrom must be super ridiculous priced. The place is packed with people, I'm not sure what people are buying at this store that makes them all come in like its the first time they've ever bought anything. Returned a coat today 1/17/2022 around 6:30 pm that I purchased for my son as a Christmas gift. It was to small for him. He did what kids do and snatched the tag off that I did keep and had with me upon return. The cashier was so rude and inpolite. She explained she's not suppose to take returns back without receipt attached. I explained but I have it here and the coat has never been worn. She asked rudely, did you want someone else to help you and I asked why? She explained because she doesn't want to go back and forth with me about the return that she's not suppose to accept. I felt humiliated as others waited and treated poorly. I am a frequent customer and also a card holder. She finally asked that I slide my Nordstrom card for the return. I will not shop here anymore at a place I freely spent money at and treated horribly. read more

I've been to a few Nordstrom Rack locations in other cities and have never been overly impressed. This location is average and on par with the others. Some of the areas are well organized while others seem to be crammed and crowded with clothing. Overall, I'm glad this location opened near my home because I never drive out of the way for this store. read more

THIS STORE IS NOT FOLLOWING COVID-19 GUIDELINES. I was shopping today and saw 3 customers freely walking around the store with no mask. The cashier didn't even enforce the mask rule when the customer went up to the register without one on!!!! So dangerous and unnecessary, management needs to step and protect their customers. Not to mention the store was a mess and there were barely any registers open. The checkout line took 30 + minutes which is extremely annoying. I love Nordstrom rack, but I am completely disappointed by this careless location. I'd rather go to actual Nordstrom and pay full price than deal with this place ever again!! This place deserves one star because it is clean. Other then that, it is a garbage store. The selection is poor compared to the Troy location. The styles are outdated. The customer service is awful, including the store manager. She is extremely rude. Not only will I not be returning to this location, I will no longer consider myself a part of the Nordstrom family. Just terrible!! The store was dark dirty and dis organized! The staff was so rude and messy. There were two employees walking down the center aisle with open cans of soda. They did not and would not move out of the way we had to go off to the side so they could pass. Marshalls/ Tj Maxx are cleaner better organized and the staff is more friendly. Saturday afternoon at 3:30 I arrived and walked into a checkout line so long that people were lined all the way back to the dressing rooms. I overheard a woman ask an employee if there was anywhere else to check out & she replied No. I turned and left. Great customer service! Everyone around asking if I was doing well, and at checkout a dress I wanted had a mismatched security tag and a couple girls couldn't get it off. They called for extra assistance and when we thought it was a loss, I left my phone number for them to call if it would ever come off. I got into the parking lot, and the sweet cashier came out and told me someone had been able to remove it! There were about 5 people up at checkout working on it. I wasn't even spending a lot of money and everyone rallied together. I will definitely go back to this store. Good team. read more

About a week ago, I bought my 15 month old daughter sandals from this store only for her to wear them once and the back strap wear against her leg and make it bleed. You better believe I returned them! Also, I got a Kate Spade purse from here and used it less than 3 weeks and the whole bottom was tarnished. Of course I returned that too! Some things from the Rack are good deals...such as children's clothing...but a lot of their merchandise is still over priced. read more
