I adore handpainted items, especially collector plates.

This is one of my favorite places to browse around. I always find something unexpected when I go there. I can always be found in the housewares, as the dishes and the art are two of my favorite things! But I've also found brand name clothing at reasonable prices. I'm there so often, the people that work there chat with me all the time and I get the best service at all times. Check it out if you're a thrifter! Whether you collect or you resell, they always have many hidden gems.

Value World provides me with an opportunity to shop for vital materials at a reasonable price.  They have a wide variety of clothing here which makes the place particularly attractive.  Most of the clothing is priced just where it should be.  A lot of it is in very good condition and appears as if it hadn't even been worn.  Their shoe selection is limited but dresses, pants, blouses, shirts, ties, pants, suits, sweaters - all are top of the line and worth a look.  Everything is color and size coded making shopping convenient. They have a nice sized book selection and the prices are reasonable.  Books range through all topics and are in good condition.  They have magazines and other reading material as well.  Their music selection is available though limited and dependent on recent acquisitions.  Any collector would want to take a look. I enjoy their specialty counter which features items ranging from jewelry to the unique and sometimes odd.  Always worth a look. The people that work here are hardworking and pleasant to interact with.  I like going here.  It's a bright spot.

All the DVDs in the store are right here, and most of these are not films, but rather, self-help or motivational DVDs.

I was quite disappointed in this thrift store. It's huge, and has a tremendous amount of shoes and clothing (and clothing accessories), and a smaller, but still substantial amount of children's toys. This is probably a dream thrift store for most women. And if you're a man, looking for clothes - big selection, as noted. For me, since I don't go into thrift stores for any of those things, it's a wasted trip. I look for electronics, furniture, housewares, artwork, and more importantly, DVDs. All of which was either in very short supply, or, simply wasn't present. Shopping for clothing? This is definitely the spot. This is basically a really great used clothing store. But, they sure don't have a lot in the other categories.

Entrance Store is clean but there aren't any dressing rooms.

I was in the area visiting as I live and work in the Clearwater, Florida area (real estate) and I love to shop at thrift stores. This Value World has great prices (low), variety, and selection for clothes. This store is huge. The cashier was nice, fast, friendly and helpful. However there are a few drawbacks 1. They do not have a public restroom which can pose a problem for children who need to use a restroom 2. They do not have dressing rooms which does not give shoppers value to try on clothes before purchasing. 3. The women's jeans are not separated by small, medium, large, and extra large so if you are looking for jeans you will have to search one by one. 4. The better quality items are in a restricted area so if you need help you will have to ask for someone to help you and wait til they show up. The #1 reason to shop here is the low prices. Great deals.

What can I say? Some value worlds are just better than others. This isn't one of the better ones; mostly junk.

It's hit or miss as with any thrift store. Very large selection- could be better arranged.

Crazy, outrageous prices! It's a thrift store. People donate to you, give it to you! And you rape with your price. F'ing sad

This is a horrible location. I have been going to this location for many years but won't be…read morereturning since the last two visits left me feeling very shocked. One of the young guys at the donation dock, and the store "manager" were horrible to deal with. The last visit I was dropping off donations. At some point during or right after Covid, they put out a sign by the donation dock that says to stay in your car. I thought this was a Covid - don't spread your germs, thing. (So when I gather up my donations around the house, I collect items for Salvation Army, and other items for a woman's shelter. so usually I have two sets of donations. Also I may have items in my trunk cuz they live in my trunk, such as a large basket I use for produce when I go to the grocery store.) So I stepped out to make sure the employee grabbed the right box. An older gentleman told me that a young guy would be out to meet me, so I didn't need to lift the box. Then he disappeared inside. The young guy came out and told me I have to stay in my car. I explained that I needed to make sure he grabbed the right box since I had other stuff there. Then he got snotty and asked me if I could read the sign. So I said again, that I was just making sure he got the right box cuz I didn't want him to take the other stuff. So he said super annoyed, "You can see the sign, right?" (What? Seriously bro? Do they think people who are donating are going to steal from the clothing bin outside the dock?) I said, well if you're not going to allow me to make sure you don't take the wrong boxes then I guess I'll have to make my donations elsewhere. And his response was "yea, do that. Don't donate here if you can't stay in your car." So that is what I will do. There's a Good Will at Ford and Telegraph which is closer to my house so I will do that from now on. The second to last time I made a donation here, I went in to shop. I bought a dining table and 4 chairs they had for sale. I paid for the item and returned later with a friend to help me load it. An employee got us a big flat bed type cart to load it, but it looked big to fit thru the front door so I asked if we cud got thru the back which was right there, to the dock, which was another 20 feet and out the back. She said she would ask and disappeared in the back. She came out and said yes you can go out the back. So we loaded it all on the cart and we were bringing it thru the back, just like the employee said we could. Suddenly a really tall guy starts yelling at us "What are you doing back here! You can't be back here!" We explained that we were told we could go out the back since the table was so wide and it wouldn't fit out the front door. He kept yelling "Who said you could! I am the manager! You cannot be back here! I am the manager! I didn't give you permission!" I seriously wanted to reassure him that "HE IS THE MANAGER AND THE WHITE LADY WASN'T USURPING HIS AUTHORITY. ITS ONLY BECAUSE ITS A BIG ITEM AND IT CANT FIT THRU THE FRONT DOOR. ITS NOT THAT DEEP!" So we had to go back into the store and disassemble the entire table, and bring it out the front door in grocery carts. Maybe this place gets robbed a lot or something? Ugggggg Just never mind. Not going back here again.

I have shopped here for years and in the last couple years it has become the most unfriendly store…read morein my opinion. I will not name names, but have to say theres a lot of attitude here. And its just one. After the last couple visits and the experience from the same person, I will move on to the others in the area. I have recently started a reselling business and love to shop and can spend quite a bit. Unfortunately even though they are very close to home, I will go the extra distance for the better experience.
