Nordstrom Rack is a great place to go and find what the store Nordstrom offers but at semi discounted prices. I think it's important to note that when you go in here, you're not gonna find really cheap prices. The prices are still up there. They're just a little bit less than you will find in the actually Nordstrom store and/or Nordstrom online. For me, the main reason I like Nordstrom Rack is their selection of shoes. They have a really big selection of shoes, particularly tennis shoes. They truly have a large amount of all of the name brands. And again, at semi discounted price prices. They're not cheap, but they are below what you would have to pay at the regular Nordstrom stores or most other sporting goods retailers. In terms of clothing, they have a lot of it. They have both a large selection of men and women's clothing. It's truly a vast amount. I don't usually find clothes that catch my eye at this store, but my wife always seems to find something. So, that may let you know of the mindset of the people who shop here. For men, they have a nice selection of suits, sport coats, slacks, and dress shirts. But, they're not exceptionally good deals. Personally, I prefer to go into a shop that is more devoted to those things when I buy such items. For my wife, however, she commonly finds nice dresses, tops, and also, shoes. She too, is a big fan of their shoe department. The one thing I will say is that if you want to get a nice pair of Doc Martens, this is a great place to buy them. They seem to discount Doc Martin's more than they do their other name brand shoes. This is just something to think about. Overall, if you want some high-end clothing, and/or shoes, and/or jewelry, and/or a little bit of anything else that Norstrom offers, this is a good place to purchase it. read more

It's a good store with the potential for some really good finds, but they do make you feel a bit like you're a criminal in there. I went to the dressing room and the attendant asking me how many items I had, I told them, and they stopped and made me let them count and leave the pack of socks I was carrying on the counter. Someone else took the socks while I was in the room. Next, I wanted some cologne. Took awhile to find someone to open the lock box where they keep it, and they looked at me like I wasn't making sense when I asked for cologne. When I tried to carry it up to go check out, they snatched it out of my hand and carried it straight to the register. Just a bit odd to treat paying customers like they're expecting you to rob them. Stopped in to return some items I bought online. The return process was really easy and simple. I decided to do some in-store shopping. There was a great selection of clothes at different price points which was really nice to see considering we are sort of in between seasons. Checking out was just as easy. One thing that set this trip apart was all the employees were friendly and professional and went above and beyond to make the experience even more pleasant. Yelp 100 Challenge 2018 - 5 One of the few Nordstrom Rack (NR) stores I have gone to that is hardly ever busy. I like that you can take your time going through the aisles without worrying about other people pushing you through like in many locations in California. Its about the same size as any other NR and they carry almost everything you need. The layout of the store is a little different from the 'traditional' NR but that doesnt mean its hard to find anything. Every section is noted by signs on the ceiling and you wont get lost. I reallh like coming to NR for the accessories. They have cute and unique brand name accessories and jewelries for very affordable prices. Every store carries different stuff so if you bought certain thing at one store, dont expect to see it at other store. Staff was friendly and they asked me if there was anything they can help me with but I was just browsing. Register is on the left side of the store as you enter inside. Plenty of parking and convenient location next to the mall in a big plaza. read more

Walk in with a return bag at 7:53- lady waiting by the door to alert people they were closing at 8. I wait in line for 10 minutes to get to the checkout where I am told they aren't accepting returns. Waste of my time. The employee at the door anxiously waiting to leave telling people they were about to close could have shared that they weren't accepting returns and we all could have been out of there faster. read more

I love love love this place! Not every trip is a jackpot, but that is to be expected as inventory changes daily. This location actually has a small home goods nook and a cosmetics area. I just picked up Urban Decay smoked pallet with 24/7 eyeliner in Perversion, and a travel size primer for $19.97, whereas the cheapest I could find online was $40 on amazon. The eyeliner is full sized, and normally retails for $20, so the palette and primer was basically free! Picked up some sparkly Ivanka Trump Maggie peep toe pumps for $20! You just have to get over the initial feeling of being overwhelmed to find a good deal, if you've got friends with you, the best strategy is divide and conquer ;o) Also, be aware not everything is a screaming deal, there were some boots in the 'Clearance' section for ~$200. I'm sorry, but I really don't think any clearance item should be three digits! They also have a nice section of menswear, shoes, and accessories. Was able to pick up an Original Penguin belt for $20 and Ted Baker Cuff links for $40. You can also shop online and return any unwanted merchandise to the store within 90 days for a full refund. read more

One of the best Racks I've been to. This location is smaller than some of the other ones I've been to, but everything is well organized and nicely laid out. Many of the Racks I've been to look like a tornado has gone through there.good selection of brands as well. The staff is very helpful and I was very impressed that they actually knew about the products sold in the store and also what is sold at the Nordstrom stores.The one by me here in Tosa the staff don't seem to care about being there or helping out the customers. I'll be making the drive to Madison more often to check out this location in the future. read more

Nordstrom Rack opened on 10/3/14. All the friends kept raving about Nordstrom Rack, so I had to check it out. Having never been to any Nordstrom Rack location, I didn't know what to expect, but I was blown away! They have tons of clothes (for women, men, kids, & babies), accessories, shoes, etc. at discount prices. I think I was most blown away by the shoes because they had tons of brands I recognized (Lucky Brand, Nine West, Steve Madden, Toms, Sperry's, Uggs, Nike, ASICS, etc.) for a fraction of what you would pay in other stores. I came on a Friday to find a dress and I was pleasantly surprised by this store! I usually have a hard time shopping but the layout in this store is very neat and organized. I was able to zip straight to the dress section and find a few pieces to try on in the fitting room. I have to give a special shout out to the store associate (I wish I had her name) who saw I was looking for something specific and went out of her way to help me by showing me a few dresses she thought I might like based on our conversation. When I went into the fitting room, the associate managing the fitting room was great as well. I like getting second opinions on my stuff and she was able to provide me some feedback / thoughts on the dresses. I found a dress that fit my criteria and a few more items as well. Overall, it was a great experience at this Nordstrom Rack and I highly recommend for those in the area to check this place out! read more

I have to say this just as a warning to others. I don't like posting bad reviews. However, this place needs serious improvement. I've come here shopping with my daughter twice now. The first time it was okay, but not great. A year passed and we ended up there again today. We were there to browse the selection for both adult sizes and children's sizes of shoes and clothes. The entire store looked like it was the end of a Black Friday sale or something at 10:00 in the morning. Almost like a child's bedroom. Very difficult to find things in either of our sizes. We asked twice for help in a normal speaking voice and both times the staff looked past us as if we were not face to face talking to them. Seems odd, right? Well, despite having a rough experience so far I decided we would just continue and make sure to find something for my daughter just so the trip and time wasn't wasted. We picked out a few things and headed to the checkout. The checkout was just as hectic as everything else. There are signs directing people to a line for returns and there is a sign above registers that says returns (off to the right) so we go to the left and wait for the person ahead to be checked out. Not once does any of the five staff warn us that were in the wrong area AND we just skipped ahead of everyone in line to check out. So a very angry old lady yells at me and my six year old for cutting in line. I understand her being frustrated so I said nothing and we went to the back of the line we thought was for returns only and my six year old with tears in her eyes says to everyone it's horrible and confusing here and we didn't know where to go. I forgot to mention that at most if not all stores and restaurants you are greeted when you enter and that did not happen here despite two staff member being at the doors when we walked in initially. The cashier also did not display any form of genuine care whatsoever when we did get our chance to check out. I asked her for instructions to write a review or survey after giving her a chance to greet us and ask her usual scripted questions. After I mentioned that she got angry and pushy. Totally blown away by all of this. I wish I would've known how awful this place is prior to taking my daughter here. Not to be petty or anything, but the selection we did find in my daughter's size was old, looked previously worn and really is not competitively priced at all. Will likely be returning these items because they all look like they were worn and returned upon further inspection. They just put stickers on the soles of shoes and sandals to cover up the wear I think. read more

Disappointed that there isn't an exception on the "clear the rack sale" with returns when their fitting rooms are CLOSED. I understand why they are closed but making the sale things final sale with no returns when you can not try anything on is disappointing. Would have bought a lot of things but can't gamble with no returns. Also, just a heads up that a lot of the shelves are empty I'm sure due to Covid- hopefully it goes back to normal soon so it doesn't look like they are going out of business every time you go in. read more

I agree with a previous assessment that the store layout is awkward. But they have a great selection of stuff that I didn't know I HAD to have. I keep hoping this store will wow me. So far that has not happened. The staff is friendly and available. It has more to do with their lack of a plus size area. They have on but it is very small. I wish they had more of a home goods selection. One plus for them is their makeup area. I have found some good deals on products I use everyday. read more

It's like an upmarket TJ Maxx/Marshall's and I loved it. Prices on most things were a good deal, with a few (notably shoes) marked maaaaaybe $5 below MSRP and claiming to be an amazing price. I stopped in with my sister and we both found things to love. Yay! read more

I really like Nordstrom rack. I would have given them 5 stars if the sore was a bit bigger and their selection of certain men's designer brands was more consistent. Overall the store has a great selection of men's clothing and shoes and they have some women's plus sizes but not much. I wish it was more instead of the stuff for skinny women. I would also like to see a bigger selection of men's big and tall sizes so they can cater to a larger demographic and compete with more retailers. read more

I hate clothes shopping, but this place is an exception. I always leave having spent a bit more than I intended to, but I'm also always thrilled with my purchases, no regrets. The quality is just so much better than what you find at other outlet type clothing stores. Better materials, better construction, and you can walk around feeling like a trust fund baby for a little while. Some of the shoes might still be out of the budget even at half price, but oh what a dream on your feet quality shoes are. You just might have to indulge. You're worth it! The music is understated pop instead of blaring pop, which I so appreciate. There is plenty of friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand, also a huge plus. Full length mirrors everywhere, you never have to search one out to hold something up to you. This is my happy place. Four stars because of the slightly overbearing dressing room attendant with weird rules: I couldn't take a large scarf in the dressing room with me to see how it looked with the outfit. I had to put on the outfit, come out and get the scarf, and then stand in the aisle to see in the mirror how it looked. (Because my picture is up on the wall as a known scarf thief, apparently??)
