Despite saying the color I wanted multiple times to make sure that the clerk understood, when I got the receipt via email the next day they got ordered it in black (not the right color). When I contacted them to get a refund, or change the order, they told me that because they're "so fast" they are unable to reverse or revise the order. I would have to wait for the order to arrive and take it back to the store to get a refund. A week later I return to the store with the box of shoes from the mail. The clerk then informs me that a manager needs to do the refund of the shoe order they screwed up. A manager was there, but I was told they were in the back and apparently refused to come to the front of the store (because she was "having a meltdown" they told me). So here I am, sitting on a bench in store, waiting for someone to drive in to cover for said manager, who is literally sitting in the next room over refusing to do their job apparently! At least it gives me time to leave a bad review.

I have a event tomorrow and was trying to inquire about a different size of the same shoe availability as I was going to do an in-store return. The clerk was rude and would not let me finish my sentence to what exactly I was inquiring about. I KNOW THE RETURN POLICY BUT THE WEBSITE WOULD NOT LET ME DO AS IT ASKED. I am an older lady and I love shoes! I will not be coming back to you anymore. Fix your customer service please!!!

They made it to the Eastside. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!…read more Look, it's a DSW. But why 4 stars you say? It's on the eastside. I'm not a snooty like other Capitol living folks that feel like Middleton is on the other side of creation - nope... I simply make a day of it. If we're going East - everything that can't be done west must be completed during this day trip. If we're going west (and since I no longer live on the westside) then we must fulfill our westside obligations in one trip. Honey Bunny gas is high and I'm pushing a real engine~ But when it's time for Middleton... I wonder should we go on to Baraboo then Minneapolis then reality hits and it's like ahhh.. Ruth Chris. Let's Go!! Back to this scheduled review: I can't put my finger on the differences yet but will update as soon as I get it figured out but again... It's on the eastside. The place is new so service, product selection, courtesies are stellar for now. Will write more later. Once it's a little older then compare.

This is more of a review of Marmot than of Fontana Sports. I bought my first Marmot down jacket…read morehere, and it lasted almost twenty years before the zipper broke. It kept me so warm and toasty in the brutal upper Midwest winters. I discovered the Marmot brand here in the 1990s. Back in the 1990s, Patagonia was not considered as "technical" and as bougie as Marmot and The North Face. Arcteryx either didn't exist or was an obscure brand almost thirty years ago. Now, Patagonia and Arcteryx are off-the-charts insanely priced. Marmot and The North Face are considered "value" brands. In any case, I still buy Marmot; it's better quality and far better value than Patagonia because: 1. Higher down fill power and 2. Higher down fill weight I recently bought a 700-fill down parka from Marmot with 220 grams of down for far less money than a 600-fill down parka with 150 grams of down from Patagonia. I was cold in the Patagonia parka, and it was horribly expensive. I had to return. I also bought coats from Eddie Bauer and from L.L. Bean. Nowhere nearly as warm as Marmot. The Marmot down parka that I recently bought is called the Montreaux Coat, and I've yet to find a warmer coat at such a great price point. It hits my knee, although it's supposed to hit my calf, so that's a bit misleading on their website. It's closer to parka length than coat length. I like that when the zipper broke after almost twenty years of owning my first Marmot down jacket, I called Marmot's Customer Service, they sent me a shipping label, and they said that they would gladly repair the zipper for me, for free. When they couldn't repair the zipper, they just sent me a new Marmot down jacket. So, I wore that complimentary replacement jacket for another ten years before finally buying the Montreaux coat this year almost thirty years after buying my first Marmot down jacket from Fontana Sports.

The salesman said I could make changes if needed. Turns out it made my back/legs/feet worse and aggravated sciatic nerve pain to the point that I couldn't sit/sleep/walk well at all. I took the products back to the store, explained what happened, the store manager refused to give me a refund. She wanted me to try other orthotics. This is still while I am in the midst of dealing with major back pain. I asked her why should I try additional orthotics as I am dealing with so much pain from the others? I just wanted my money back! As of now she is telling me that she, as the store manager, has no authority to give money back. Give me a break! I made a poor decision going into the Good Feet Store, I hope you will save yourself the hassle, aggravation, and physical pain and avoid this store and it's products!
