Clean stores. Service is great. Greet deals and great savings. Lines to purchase are never long. Easy returns.

The staff here are consistently friendly and helpful. At times, they do seem a bit understaffed- which can lead to longer checkout lines. They offer a nice variety of items, but the standout feature is Nordstrom's return policy--returns are incredibly easy if something doesn't work out. The quality of name-brand items like Nike, Paige, Joe's, and Zella sometimes feels a bit lower than what you'd find at the main Nordstrom store, possibly because they're priced lower. In my experience, these items tend to wear out a bit faster--but that might just be the trade-off for the savings. Keep in mind that they don't validate parking. The best option is to use the one-hour validated parking at Target. read more

Probably my least favorite Nordstrom Rack I've been to. It's got way too many items in it. It's overwhelming to walk around with too many racks crammed full with clothing. It's hard to find what you're looking for. A lot of items are still highly priced and the store just has an overall dingy feeling. This location definitely needs an update. read more

I love coming here early in the day when it's not too crowded but even then there's always a good selection of things. Men, women, kids, designers and some house stuff. Lots of shoes, purses, hair products and make up. Parking is plenty but is $6 for the first 6 hours. You can validate at Target but don't tell anyone I told you haha. Friendly service. Restrooms in the back and plenty of dressing rooms. Located in the Beverly Connection where there's a TJMaxx, Old Navy, Marshalls, JCrew Factory, Verizon, Spectrum, Target, Saks off 5th. Truthfully this is probably the worst Nordstrom rack I've ever been to. Incredibly tiny and not a lot of options plus the workers there seem like they absolutely hate working there. I have never left a review good bad or ugly but today I have a little time. I walked in to Bloomingdale's at 2:47 no associate or member of the team acknowledged me at all. I work in hospitality and also a little front/backend work and this was uncalled for. I finally walked around and found someone but they replied "I'm a vendor not an associate" and kept walking. I finally found someone at 3:35 and before looking for the merchandise they replied this item may be discounted or we're out. I replied ok and went to another associate and was told the same thing before checking or looking. It's like they're avoiding normal human interaction. Of all the stores in this mall, I like Nordstrom Rack best of all! I had a great experience shopping at Nordstrom Rack the other day. It is located in The Beverly Connection outlet mall. It far exceeds the other stores here in terms of quality of the merchandise and customer service. Lots of name brands to choose from at discount prices. Store is clean and organized. Plenty of associates working at checkout. The associate I got was so helpful, patient, and friendly. Such a pleasure. You can also use your Nordstrom's credit card and Nordy Club points here. If you need to return your merchandise you can come back to Nordstrom Rack but also go to a regular Nordstroms. How convenient. The parking is in the underground parking lot for the mall. Not a great lot to park in so be patient. Nordstrom Rack does not validate parking. read more

I wish this store could give me my time back. Wasted a day venturing out to the city to this Nordstrom rack thinking they'd have a nice selection. It's a little dark and dreary inside, not inviting. Was off to a bad start already but was hoping it would get better. Selection was extremely limited. Hardly found the kids section in the very back corner; there wasn't even a sign. This used to be my favorite Rack store. Now, it's just overwhelming to shop. The clothes are sorted in no particular order and placed so close together that it's hard to walk around the store. Makes you feel claustrophobic. That and the discounts are weak lately. read more

Tried to get a security tag off something I purchased and had the receipt for but wasn't allowed to do this and was treated like a thief and was given little to no explanation about the situation by a very rude heavy set young black man this evening. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER service. You need to explain to your customers NICELY why you couldn't remove the tag. Also I had to come back to the store to get the tag removed BECAUSE OF YOUR INCOMPETENT COWORKERS. I'll be ordering online in the future. I have to say I'm not a huge fan of discount stores/outlets, certainly not because I'm rich (far from it) but I'm lazy in the sense where I hate actually having to look for stuff, and I also have enough problems with fitting clothing in regular shops, much less places like this. Once in a while, I will find a few gems. Here at this location, it was with one of their cashiers. Bought some stuff online and went to bring back the items that I figured wouldn't fit. The lines here are usually long, and I had to wait a good 10-15 minutes but I had nothing else to do so this wasn't an issue. In front of me, there was a woman who was insistent on returning a clearly used handbag. Even from more than a few feet away I could tell this was not in good condition. Quite frankly I was embarrassed for this person because she was either extremely stupid or trying to pull one on the cash rep. This associate did her job perfectly well, while being stern on their return policy. Not sure if it was due to the customer being foreign but she wasn't budging either. Although it was only about 3 minutes, it felt as though it was longer. When I was next with this same cashier, I wanted to make an effort to be as nice as possible after seeing what she had to put up with. Thankfully, the transaction was smooth and I had to let her know she handled that previous customer like a champ and she cracked a smile. I don't think I have to say the obvious (I worked in retail) and putting up with those customers can make a day hell, but on the flip side, sometimes you'll get a good one that understands. (Okay so this wasn't a review on the store itself, but more on the good service I received this day.) read more

I come to the Nordstrom's rack all the time to pick up packages and customer service is always A1; well today that changed. The women who help me was very rude, my items came in a bulky box and asked if I could have a bag, she replied "we change $0.10 for a bag. Really, when I pick up my items any other time they will ask if I want a bag knowing I'm on my lunch hour and have to walk back to work. So I said to him, there wasn't anything in Nordstrom worth stealing, and it was appalling that he stood near me until I walked toward a friend that was with me. This store is out of bags every time I go in there. The employees are very rude and inconsiderate and Maria, who identified herself as the manager, seems to have no understanding of proper customer service. She was standing by the registers doing absolutely nothing on my most recent visit, and is so incompetent that she can't figure out how to order an appropriate number of bags read more

Just had the worst experience as a customer in that place. There were around 20 kate spade wallets marked with a price and the cashier didn't want to sell for the price that the store had tagged. When the manager came talk to us, she said she was going to pass the wallets with the marked price as an exception but the cashier got really angry. She threw the wallets on the counter and was very rude, sarcastic and mean. I was with my brothers and as we are Brazilians we were speaking Portuguese among us, when she looked at us and said "oh yes, of course". So, above everything else, she was also racist. The manager saw everything and didn't do anything. Worst experience ever. I was so upset that I forgot to catch her name, but she is white, a bit tall, older, long brown hair. I'm always bemoaning poor customer service. Well, here's a (semi) rave. I had a huge box of things bought online to return. Since the shopping carts lock, I asked a clerk if someone could help me bring it in. She, Katy, said sure. She carried it from my car trunk to the register, and to my complete embarrassment, my returns were from another store down the street! Katy left Nordstrom and lugged the box of things into the other (competitor) store. I couldn't believe it and was effusive in my thanks. I did end up buying shoes (of course) at the Nordstrom Rack, and sang my praises of Katy to her manager, who, I'm sure, hears pretty much only complaints all day. Not five stars only because the store is crammed with merch and hard to see what's what. But certainly not Katy's fault-hope she gets a raise. read more

ME- Are all these [clothes] on the rack on hold? REP1- no ME- Would you please check the size for me? Is it a 26? REP1- [looks exasperated as hell, walks 4 feet to check] no ME- what size is it? REP1- [looking very annoyed] ME- I am really sorry to disturb you, may I ask the size? REP1- [looking extremely annoyed, shuffles back to look] It's a 25 ME- May I have it REP1- [looking extremely annoyed and begrudgingly hands it over] Experience 2: I was in the fitting room with my GF (again). Trying on a pair of Diesels but the zipper was broken. ME- Do you have this REP2- [texting on her sidekick, but cheerfully replies without looking] One moment please! ME- [sarcastically] I am so so to bother you, you are clearly busy but do you have this in another size? REP2- [again, cheerfully, still texting, not looking up] I'm sorry we don't have any other sizes of that particular item what we have is on the shelf.
