One thing I can't stand is when a business prioritizes absurd policies over serving customers. I came in with a small pouch yesterday only to have security make me check it in. I know - I might stuff a coat in something that is the size of a wallet. I asked the guy why I had to check something in that they never made me check in before. Also, I'm supposed get my wallet out of check in prior to buying something and wasting more time? I get a large bag or purse but a pouch? My other gripe is the tax is insane high there. I would think sample sale - no tax but it's over the top so who knows if that's legit. Yesterday's experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be going back. Enforce dumb rules lose customers. read more

First time visiting Eclipse for the first day of a Popflex Active sample sale, and I had an overall good experience! I arrived early in the morning around 8am and there was already a line! Not sure if it depends on the brand how soon people start queuing. I did notice when I left the sale that the line was much shorter to get in by the afternoon. At the entrance, an employee scans your Eclipse barcode which you need to get after signing up for the sale on their website. Due to some miscommunication from the brand, quite a lot of people arrived without a barcode and that ended up causing some backup with people getting in. They have security people setup to check in everyone's bags (they provide you with a paper tag to pick up your bag when you leave). The brand mentioned bringing your own tote bags for purchases but Eclipse actually provides giant plastic bags, so you don't need your own tote bags. There are two floors, and the clothing is separated by sizing which is really convenient, and there are signs all over the building that list out the prices of the items. Navigating the area can get pretty cramped because there are so many racks and tables that the walkways aren't very wide, and everyone's lugging around a giant tote bag with their items, so bring your patience and be kind! When there's a long queue for the cash register, the experience is similar since so many people are queuing in the walkways. There are several parking areas around Eclipse and metered parking. 123 S Robertson Blvd is said to have a parking lot with 2 hours of free parking, and Beverly Connections which is about a 12 minute walk away also has an affordable parking structure! read more

I came here for the first time for the Popflex Active Sample sale. I waited about an hour before opening to get there early so that I could be in the first wave of people let inside and then grab my stuff and leave quickly. I do recommend this as the course of action. There is an Alfred's Coffee directly across the street and a Starbucks about a block down if you want something to eat/drink while you wait. There is a free for 2 hours structured parking a few blocks down as well as metered parking in the area. You will have to scan a QR code or go to Eclipse's website to sign up for their newsletter where they will then e-mail you a barcode that must be scanned upon entry. The staff were polite; you will have to check your bag in (remember to keep your bag tag!) upon arrival and they will give you a large Eclipse branded tote bag to store your haul. There was some issue with only having two cashiers and this leading to a very long line to simply check out (a whole hour!) but they opened up more registers for this. read more

As someone who lives in activewear and has followed Cassey Ho for years, this sample sale was a dream come true. The second I walked into the space, I knew I was in trouble (in the best way). Everything was beautifully organized by size--from XXS to 3X--which made browsing super easy. I wasn't stuck sorting through random piles or mismatched racks. Major bonus points for that. The selection was insane. We're talking OG Popflex pieces, current faves, and exclusive one-offs I've never seen online. I scored leggings, a skort I've been eyeing forever, a sculpting bra, and a cozy half-zip hoodie--all for a fraction of the price. Up to 80% off! Some leggings were $20-$25 when they normally retail for $70+. Unreal. Yes, there was a line when I arrived, and yes, the checkout line took a little while--but honestly, it was totally worth it. Everyone was in a great mood, trying things on, complimenting each other's picks, and the staff was so kind and helpful. It felt more like a community hangout than a sale. Pro tip: get there early, wear comfy shoes, and bring a reusable tote. Oh--and if you park in the Robertson garage across the street, you get 2 hours free. Win-win. I've been going to this sample sale for years and I've actually had some great experiences here! Usually I avoid going right when the sales start, those tend to be crazier days and especially if you have a luggage or multi brand luxury sale it can get pretty crazy. But if you wait until the weekends in the early to mid mornings it tends to be a bit better plus there are usually brand or designer additional discounts (note this is by the discretion of the brand and not the people at the store so be nice to them!). Unlike the other reviews I have always had a pleasant interaction with the sales team, they're always helpful with me! Parking is a bit tough, meters available, watch the street signs in neighborhoods but a block down Robertson close to kitson is a lot that's free for 2 hours before 5. read more

This was my first time going there. I went to the Birkenstock sale and I was totally impressed with the selection they have. The store is nice and clean the employees are very friendly and helpful. Just cool and down to earth. they didn't hound you like other places, But when you need help or had a question . They were right there to assist with anything I needed . the prices were amazing, I cannot complain whatsoever . This is a great sample sale... Great set up with lots of space and well organized. I came for the ASRV sample and appreciated all the prices being posted and listed on the walls. 1. I placed an online order under the belief that they would actually fulfill it. 2. About a month after NOT fulfilling the order they sent an email apologizing for the delay but ASSURE me that my order will ship within 1 week. 3. 3 weeks after their fake email I get another email basically saying "sorry we aren't filling your order, we refunded you" without any sincerity, without any solution, without any olive branch. 4. The item was supposed to be an Easter gift for my mom...that didn't happen 5. I sent them an email that no one bothered responding to 6. I called but no one answers their phone and the mailbox was full 7. Then I get a bs email saying I'll have my bag in a week I decide to make it her mother's day gift. She was disappointed but I promised her it would arrive soon...BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WOULD. So now I have no Mother's Day Gift. I had to scramble for Easter (our most sacred holiday) and then they have the AUDACITY to say "sorry it's not coming, we refunded you. Have a nice day" WOW, that's rich. The nerve they have is unbelievable. They're liars. Complete and utter liars and incompetent. Then, to add to that, they expect me to just accept their ridiculousness without any type of accommodation or olive branch. That's where I draw the line. They upset my recently widowed mother. They lied to me and numerous others AND they held on to my money for over a month and then offer NO compensation. I'm sure you can understand how frustrating this is for me and I'm sure all the other clients that purchased something. Regardless of what the holdup was, the communication regarding the issue has been horrendous. In addition, business - client trust has been completely broken and demolished. There was no mention of any possible delay at the time of purchase. The sale happened in bad faith and the 6 weeks past sale date email telling me "sorry, you'll have it in a week" was sent in bad faith. Plus add in that NOTHING has been done to remedy or make good on this disaster... I'll spend my money elsewhere...I might pay full price but at least I'll actually receive the item and won't be embarrassed at any holidays. Blessings to Eclipse, they need them. read more

FIRST TIME CUSTOMER I should've listen to this review before purchasing. I bought a puffer coat (Apparis brand) on Aug 12th. I received an email Aug 25th that they don't have it and they would replace it with another coat and to reply to them by Aug 31. Well the replacement coat is nothing like what I want. They told me to call or text a number. I've emailed customer support, I left a VM to the number and also text. No reply. I attached the photo that they are trying to just send me. The clothing La Perla was advertised as 90% off, they manager tried to charge me much higher prices until I pointed out that I was there from the morning time and saw the promo with my eyes. I came for the Calpak sample sale and was so excited and got good stuff, but that was the only good thing about my experience. There's a worker with curly hair and it's choppy blonde and she literally was talking to a poor older woman about why she should vote for Trump. BEWARE!!! Once upon a time it was fun going to sample sales... This place has 0 management and is extremely messy! They offer Virtual shopping via Instagram. I was excited to try it since I'm nowhere near the physical store. Eclipse's staff gave me a quote on a set of Frette's Album Collection sheets (as seen in the attachment). I found the shipping to be rather steep so I decided to go in person and stop by some other stores too on the weekend. Well! That was a mistake of driving over an hour to their physical store. Not only is the in store price much higher than the quote I received on Instagram, but management refuse to honor the price since they don't know who was in charge of the Instagram account when I receive the quote and they denied all responsibilities!!! They will try to find any excuse just to pin the responsibility on the customer! read more

The customer service at this company is atrocious. I'm a sucker for a good deal and will put up with a lot for a good bargain, but the way the owners treat customers as if they are providing a favor and not a business service. Their behavior is really arrogant and off putting. It was for this reason I stopped shopping with them for a few years. I decided to give them another chance and I should have stuck with my original approach of choosing to defer doing any business with them no matter how awesome the deals look. They sell products they do not have available to sell and cancel your order two months later even though they take your money upfront. Never mind how inappropriate it is that it takes two months to fulfil orders. You don't get to use covid as an excuse for lacking any business sense. I've shopped online with many reatilers during this time (including other sample sale companies) and none of them took anywhere near two months to ship something. And usually, other companies disclose delays in shipping up front and it's usually accurate. Eclipse had bogus timeline estimates and they take zero pride in the value of their advertisemed word. Also, when you ask them to clarify questions you have about the product, they don't give you the right answer and care more about the sale. I asked if two green suede items were the same color/material/season. They said yes so I bought both and upon delivery it was obvious they were no where near the same. Waste of my money especially bc there is a no return policy. This is misleading business tactics aimed at taking advantage of customers by lying for a bigger sale. It's been a month since my last order despite an advertised delivery timeline of three weeks. I purchased these bathing suits with a special trip in mind and had a multi week buffer to ensure I would have them in time. And now I am out of town without a bathing suit. If I had been properly warned re the timeline, I could have made alternative plans. The message is clear, do not accept business responsibilities if you cannot handle them (money has been withdrawn from my account already). Do not sell clothing that takes you two months to mail. It's not complicated, you are not the first business to work in retail but it looks like you have zero experience in it. Don't pretend to be something you are not. Take some ownership of your business and treat your customers better. At the end of the day, it doesn't even matter if I care about their manners, the fact is that such business practices are illegal for a reason and I have evey intention of following up with the proper authorities to report this business. read more
