Also, as a responsible parent, I would have absolutely paid for them if she damaged them. I don't mind the attendant asking her to be careful, it's the way she said it. 5 minutes later my teenager went into the same store and overheard the attendant on the phone with someone saying she just kicked us out. Most people were on the hunt for sandals, as their shoes tend to be over 100 dollars. The offerings were in big boxes by size where you had to hunt and peck for shoes. The offerings did not only include sandals, but also included slippers and tennis shoes. The men shoes had a lot more variety. Beyond the Olukai brand, there were couple of other brands being offered that provided yoga wear, snow wear, and sunglasses. The experience was good as fellow customers were not agressive. The event was pretty tame. If you have interested in a brand, and you don't mind searching through boxes, then this is a good opportunity to snag a deal. I walked around picked up something I was going to buy and then I put it back because no one spoke to me. This has not been the first time no one has spoken to me. I walked out and down the street and made purchases at two other boutiques because they were friendly and engaging. Please teach your staff how to be kind and welcoming to all. It's really not that hard. The women working here don't seem to care about customer service or they don't know how to engage with customers because they haven't been trained. I have been greeted poorly every.single.time. The first 2 times I don't think the woman working even acknowledged I had walked in and today the sales associate gave a underwhelming hello and didn't ask if "I was looking for anything in particular?" "Can I help you find a Christmas gift?" "Let me know if you have any questions at all, I am here for anything you may need" and there was nothing as I left the store either "Thanks so much for coming in" "Have a great day!"
