If I could give Swirl 100 stars I would. The owner is amazing, she's a very hands on owner- always in and out styling at her different locations. All employees I've met are top tier, with a perfect balance of trendy and everyday. Not pushy in the sales department. Seems to me that your experience there is more their concern than how much merchandise you leave with. Very refreshing! Love you ladies! read more

I am giving the store five stars because Melissa, the sales or who works inside knows her product, is knowledgeable and helpful. Bummer to see Gypsy feather go away but that happens. read more

60$ ring said to be "14k gold" turned my girlfriends finger green after not even a day of wearing it. I know it's most likely sterling silver dipped in gold but still terrible to rip someone off like that. read more

5 star service and selection! I came in today looking for a last minute dress for a party I'm attending tomorrow and there were many options to choose from. The sales associate, Erin, helped me select several cute items to try on. She was friendly and eager to make sure I was happy with my selection. Thank you for making my lunch break fun and productive! read more

Not very impressed. I'm an avid shopper. I'm either shopping by myself or with girl friends at least once a week. I've purchased from Swirl a few times and every time I feel as though I'm intruding on the two sales representatives there. The selection is ok but there are plenty of places to shop and if I'm going to be out shopping I do not enjoy going somewhere with awkward and unprofessional staff. A little customer service and grace training would go a long way here. read more

If you're looking for excellent service, you should stop into Swirl! All of the ladies working here take such great care of me and help me find exactly what I am looking for! They also have a fantastic selection of jewelry that is perfect for last minute birthdays or holidays! read more

Without a doubt one of my favorite boutiques in Encinitas. Swirl has absolutely anything that you could ever need/hope for. The jewelry section is also phenomenal! You won't regret stopping by. read more

Unfortunately this store does not tell you when you make a purchase that no returns. It is only exchanges and store credit. I guess this small business wants to make sure they never have to give back any money. It is sad as will never shop here and support a small business. A big turn off. Please let your customers purchasing your policy. read more

Hands down my favorite boutique!! I love the unique pieces, the best brands & amazing jewelry. The owner Lisa always goes above & beyond for her clients. You don't need to shop anywhere else in Encinitas, this is your one stop shop. On the few occasions that they did not have a size in stock, they happily shipped it to me from their other store location. I love this type of customer service & it's the reason I keep coming back time & time again. read more

I don't know what these people who are complaining about the salespeople are talking about. 1st visit- I walked in and was immediately welcomed by Verda. She did the usual sales pitch, asked what I was looking for and I said I was browsing. She was super nice, commented on my perfume and we started chatting as I was browsing. She wasn't pushy at all. She was very outgoing and kind. I ended up buying a dress and have gone back ever since then. She ordered a belt for me and called me right when it came in. 2nd visit- I walked in and Verda was there again. She remembered my name and helped me pick out a dress for another event. I needed a jacket and didn't have anything that would work at home. SHE LITERALLY GAVE ME THE JACKET OFF HER BACK! A stranger. She let me borrow her expensive jacket and trusted I would bring it back. If that's not customer service and generosity I don't now what is. Thanks Verda! read more

Ok... This place has the best selection shoes ever. Yes, they have some great clothing items at great prices, but my fav are the shoes. Encinitas has no place to get great shoes! Thank you Swirl... read more

I'm so bummed...went in to Swirl this morning and found two sweaters each priced at $24 & $25 and I said I had a store credit and would be right back. Came back with in 1 hour and price in both sweaters doubled! I I'll never go back in there again! Honor your prices! read more

I'm not sure what the people complaining about the employees are referencing either. I've only ever had a great experience at Swirl, even if I leave with nothing. The clothes are super cute and on trend. read more

Cutest little place! Helpful customer service. I always leave with a little too many items in my bag! Great for accessories too.

Seriously disappointed. My in law's recently went on a trip for their honeymoon in Cali. I was extremely excited because I've been obsessed with swirl (what I've seen online, anyway). She went in with the intention of buying me a few outfits and accessories for my birthday. After quite a while of browsing and picking up items, she still wasn't waited on. I'm not sure if it was a celebrity or what but she said there were several different employees helping to style one girl, constantly running out to pick out a different outfit for her to try on. My mother in law finally asked someone for help, was told "just one minute" and 20 minutes later, was still holding the same clothes waiting for the same person. She finally just put everything down and left. Her only questions were about sizing because she was buying different brands and wanted to make sure all the fits would be correct against my measurements. I was truly in love with the clothes from this store. Their style is amazing, but their customer service is lacking. I understand that "influential"' people come in and shop or do promotions on Instagram for you, but please take the time to notice when you might have paying customer with needs. Sorely disappointed :( read more

I absolutely love this place!! I honestly can't say enough good things about swirl boutique. I have gone in countless times looking for something to wear for a special event and they always deliver. I love the fact that all the employees are so helpful and very attentive, I can literally go in tell them what I'm looking for and they go to town picking out all kinds of cute stuff. I always walk away with a bag in hand and a smile on my face. HECK! They even helped me find my wedding dress! read more

I recently found Swirl boutique and am glad I did. It is well worth the drive up to Encinitas. Cute trendy items that you can't find elsewhere. Be sure to check out the sale items and jewelry options from local designers. Quite a few items found their way home with me! read more

So I just moved here from Los Angeles and have been on the hunt for cute boutiques. I heard about swirl so I decided to come check it out. When I first walked in, there was no one in there or a salesperson around. She finally came out and was not very welcoming. She kind of followed me around for a second and then finally asked if she could help. I said I had just moved and was looking for places to shop. She didn't answer. Didn't seem interested or try to show me anything. I never walk out of a store empty handed. I have a little shopping problem and I walked out with nothing. That's not good. I'm an easy sell. The prices are pretty high for what it is too. If rather drive a little further and go to the mall where the salespeople are nice. read more

I came in here one day to buy a swimsuit since I didn't want to pay the shipping online. When I walked in, I was greeted so I thought that I would have a good experience, WRONG. I was looking for a specific item and it took me awhile to find it, so the lady was becoming aggravated. As soon as I found the bikini top, I realized that it was only in a size large. Mind you, I'm only 5'3 and 110 pounds, and the lady asks me "want me to see if it's available in other stores? what size? A medium?" when I'm obviously not going to fit a medium. As soon as I tried on the large top and told her it was at least 3 times too big, her whole entire demeanor changed as she realized I wasn't going to buy anything. She didn't even say anything as I left the store. 0/10 recommend this store or the bitchy employees read more

this place is probably one of the worst places i have ever been too. i work in retail myself and i am friendly to everyone who comes in. the women that work in here (aka lisa) and her other rude blonde co worker are the rudest! they didnt even greet me or say goodbye and didnt help me at all when i asked and didnt help give goo advice. all they are looking to do is make money. the store is way over priced for what it is, but not to say somethings i would pay for. but overall i hate this store because of lisa and her rude co workers. try to be more friendly and less rude for no reason and maybe you have more customers read more

Had a piece of merchandise transferred for me, but I had a friend pick it up...The item once received did not fit, so I wan tented to rerurn it. They would only give a store credit, even though I never originally tried on the piece. Even the owner, would not make an exception. No customer service and "I am sorry -nothing we could do." , was all I received....... read more

My first time shopping at Swirl, and I must say the place truly is a hidden gem. I'm beyond pleased with my experience. Shopping for my mother and sister clearly I had no idea what I was doing, but the staff was very helpful, hands on, and made me feel right at home. This boutique has a very clean, chic, and vibrant atmosphere which made the experience very appeasing. It helped a lot that they had a very diverse selection and price point to help me find exactly what I wanted within my budget. The lovely young lady working there helped me find two very unique pieces, which was exactly what I was looking for. My mother and sister were elated with the sweater and necklace I got for them from Swirls, and I would definitely suggest it to anyone looking for something very stylish for themselves or as a gift. Thanks Swirl read more

I have passed by this boutique many times on my way into Trader Joes or the coffee store. The other day I had a little extra time and decided to stop in to see what cute items the store might have. Wow, I can not believe how awful the sales assistant was. The nicest thing I can say about her is she was rude. I have no desire to waste my time or money in this store and would highly recommend my friends to shop elsewhere. After all, The Forum is just down the street. read more

Great shop, a hiden jewel in the Encinitas Trader Joe's center! I just started shopping there a year ago (I can't believe I missed it, a friend of mine told me about it!) I actually run every time I do my grocery shopping, and the girl there now remebers me and shows me all the new pieces, that of course I love...dangerous! The customer service is more like walking into a friend's house, always greeted so warmly which keeps me coming back. The selection is always new and I feel like if even if I'm on a budget and can still find something that I love. So impressed with the local jewelry selection as well, good gift spot for sure! Wish I found it sooner, but the service and new items daily makes it work for me. And a plus, hidding all my new goodies in my Trader Joe's bag, no one has to know!!! read more
