I was socked and delighted when she told me she would deliver our flowers to Yosemite but not as socked and delighted as when I actually laid eyes on them. My husband and I got married at SF City Hall and decided to have a belated reception with close friends and family at a restaurant. Because the reception was at a restaurant, there wasn't much we could do in terms of decor so we had a specific vision in mind, which involved lots and lots of flowers. I probably got on a call with 10 other florists before connecting with Allie and once we had our initial conversation, I knew I found our florist. It was hard for me to tell Allie my vision without having exact examples or images but at the end of the our call, she relayed back to me what she understood and it was exactly what I wanted (but better described). She understood me better than I understood myself! I also asked her to do a mock session because I was not 100% sure about the color scheme I had in mind. She met with me and brought the most beautiful mock up. Even though the mock up was so beautiful, I wanted to change out some of the colors and flowers and she was more than accommodating while also sharing her expert input of available flowers and colors. After the mock up session, the rest of my reception was in Allie's hands. I didn't see any photos until I got to the restaurant and I was completely speechless. It was everything I had envisioned and so much more. There was not one single thing I wanted to change about the decor and setup. Allie and team executed so well and within the time frame provided and I am so thankful. The entire night, all of our guests were continuously coming up to me to tell me how beautiful everything was and are still talking about our reception 3 months later. I look back at photos and there's nothing I'd change and if I could, I wish I could live that day all over again and again and again. Before Allie, I kept questioning whether my husband and I made the right decision to have a reception at a restaurant and whether people would feel like they're walking into a wedding. After the reception and seeing Allie's setup, there's no other way we would've gotten married and would do it this way all over again.
