Sol Ambiance has been my go-to florist for flower deliveries for several years now. Having ordered from other florists, especially online flower delivery, the flowers delivered have never looked like the picture online. Thankfully that is not the case at all with Sol Ambiance! The flowers delivered always very closely resemble the picture online and my wife's coworkers always comment on how beautiful the flowers are. It all started with a Mother's Day bouquet a few months ago. A bright and happy bouquet of beautiful flowers that my MIL loved. I then let my pup (with my guidance) picked out a tiny bouquet for me which I also loved. Recently attended an in-home (immediate family only) wedding reception & tea ceremony, I gifted the bride and groom a bridal bouquet and a boutonnière to match, all from Sol Ambiance. The bridal bouquet I chose for her is designer's choice (currently $175 + tax) which means the designer decides which flowers to put together. You can also do your own picks, (slightly higher prices $200+), but i honestly don't think I would have done a better job than what the designer came up with. For the bride's bouquet, she didn't want any white flowers, and like pinks and pretty much let me (and the florist designer) decide for her what will look good. So I asked Sol Ambiance to make sure to do pinks (mostly pale pinks) and they asked if they can also add some other pinks & peach colors with some greens to make it pop, and look classy and elegant, so of course I know we are already on the same page. And based on my last purchases from them, I know they will do a great job. I also added a boutonnière ($25 + tax) to match. The result speaks for themselves. Terrible experience. Took a few minutes for them to acknowledge my presence even tho I was the only customer there. Prices are super inflated. For each stem of a certain kind of flower, they were charging 1.5x what Birite charges for a stem - and I consider Birite pretty pricey for SF. They were not willing to make a custom bouquet. I was in a crunch and dropped a pretty penny but will never go again. Avoid avoid avoid! read more

So many great things to say about this place! Although I never got to speak/meet with anyone, I can tell what kind of place this is - compassionate, punctual and just overall great people! My really good friend lost someone very dear to her and returned from an overseas memorial service today. I wanted to surprise her with some flowers when she got back so did some digging and found Sol Ambiance! Not only were the flowers absolutely GORGEOUS and delivered on time, the note was hand-written! Some time ago i had received a bouquet from Sol and it was full and lovely. My usual place for a vase arrangement was closed due to limited hours so i went to Sol Ordered a very similar arrangement (florists choice vase arrangement) with delivery $100 plus tax The arrangement was really meh. One of the flowers was broken/old. It really did not impress. I'm not going to be going there again. Let us take our time and pick out what we thought my dear sister would love. Lena was amazing at helping us with Russian language ribbons - the to and from. Best quality AND value in San Francisco. A friend of mine, who has an exquisite rose garden retired and I shopped around for a florist who was local and had good reviews here. Stakes were high!
