Kaylia is an absolute gem. My wedding was less than 7 months away, and I admit that my floral goals were a bit all over the place - I love classic, bright, yet creative, whimsical, unique and flowy. On top of that, I also love most flowers, so couldn't really help hone in on exact flower types. Thus with a huge blank slate to start off on, Kaylia took my vision and ran with it in the most beautiful way. She reassured me throughout the process with her design and vision boards, and everything I couldn't verbalize was right there in front of me in the best way possible. Kaylia had a knack for understanding the mood and demeanor of not just our wedding but myself. What I would like in my own personal bridal bouquet, the way it moved with me, and what would take my breath away on our table settings and everything else. Kaylia is so incredibly talented! I hired Tumbleweed Floral for my January wedding and could not have been happier with the floral arrangements. I do not have a good eye for design, but Kaylia was able to work with me to basically figure out what I wanted and what she knew I needed when it came to our flowers. Kaylia and her team are very talented and I had a great time working with her leading up to my wedding. She is very creative, knowledgable, and brought along great suggestions. Unfortunately, there are a few reasons why I am not giving 5 stars. The contract had incorrect wedding date, last name, and a typo on floral arrangement price. This is all pretty minor and I was able to confirm with Kaylia that correct date/info, but this did show me a lack of attention to detail. The main reason why I am not giving 5 stars is due to my disappointment with the reception floral design results. Specifically for the sweetheart table, we discussed using a harlow stand to have the flowers cascade from the top of it to the bottom of the table on the other side. The idea was to have it as one long continuous bundle of flowers. In the photo attached of our sweetheart table, you can see 5 arrangements placed in a plastic dish (1 on top of the harlow stand and 4 across the table) with visible gaps between them. There was also no cascade to the ground on the bottom right side of the table. You can see it stops abruptly 1/4 of the way down at the orchids. While this arrangement is beautiful and stunning anywhere else, it just wasn't what we discussed, and more importantly not what we paid for. She had increased the price from the original quote, which we were happy to pay. But we did not pay to have 4 arrangements placed across a table with no full cascade at either end. My guess - and this is just a speculation - is there were not enough workers that day to complete the sweetheart table on site, and so they resorted to pre-making arrangements to mimic the look of a "waterfall" design by placing the arrangements close together. The reason why I speculate this is because I have seen her other work on IG, and she and her team have created beautiful cascaded arrangements before. It's disappointing that there was no heads up to this change in design and lack of transparency. Lastly, the overall vibe of the florals was not quite what I expected. I have attached the mood board she sent over, which I absolutely loved! I understand the mood board is supposed to be a reference only, and not an exact replica. But you can see a lot of dark greenery was used as filler in Tumbleweed's arrangements that made it look overall dark versus the airy and bright colors on the mood board. During our consultations, I had expressed I wasn't a huge fan of greenery since it takes away from the main colors and was hoping for more saturated blush/dusty rose colors. I want to say I did love my bride bouquet though! She did a great job with my vision on this one and it was everything I imagined it to be. read more

The flowers for my wedding were, without a doubt, the prettiest flowers I have seen in my entire life. I wanted to steer clear of the traditional blush and white (with greenery) "rustic chic" look that most weddings have these days. It was truly a pleasure to work with Kaylia! Right on our first meeting she listened carefully and understood what I wanted. Long overdue review! In September, Kaylia provided florals for our Monterey, CA wedding. She was so professional and sweet during the process that I can't imagine what our wedding would look like without her expertise. When I initially began to plan for our wedding around a year before, I thought we would try to save some money by choosing a more inexpensive florist. As I started to look into the available florists nearby, I soon discovered that I was pickier than I thought when it came to floral arrangements. I really wasn't a big fan of the clustered, circular bouquets and heavily gravitated towards more wild and natural styles. That's when I discovered Tumbleweed Floral Truck and fell in love with how beautiful and professional Kaylia's work was. She was definitely a lot more expensive than what I initially budgeted for, but it was oh so worth it. We set up a phone call to determine if we were compatible and I placed a retainer almost immediately afterwards. She kept in communication leading up to the wedding and was so, so flexible in how I paid her. She was trying not to make me use a credit card because it would charge an extra fee and I think we went through three or four alternate methods of payment before one worked. She didn't need to make that accommodation for me, but it showed what type of person she is. I was also impressed that she created a beautiful design board that gave me a sample of what style and potential types of flowers to expect on the day of the wedding. Then on the day of the wedding, I heard from family members that she wanted to make sure the flowers used for the arbor wouldn't wilt before the ceremony and waited until the last minute to put them out. There are seriously not enough good things I can say about Kaylia! To say she was a dream to work with still does not do justice to how amazing she is. As a person, she is delightful and so easy to get along with - I wanted to just keep hanging out with her because I liked her so much! As far as her work goes - she truly is an artist! The flowers for my wedding were above and beyond what I could have imagined. I originally deemed the flowers as a lower priority for me, and she did such an amazing job that they ended up becoming one of my favorite parts of the day! Kaylia really listens to what you want, and listens to what you like. Most of the time, I honestly didn't even know what direction to go in, and she totally interpreted who I am and what my style is, and was able to guide me through coming up with something that fit our day perfectly. Two specific things I asked for that she completely nailed on the head were: 1. I wanted our center pieces to be mixed & matched, and simple. I wanted people to be able to see each other, and not have the pieces be too overwhelming. They were so beautiful and I turned out better than I imagined. 2. I wanted a long garland to drape over the arch for the ceremony, and then repurposed for the head table. She not only made the most beautiful pieces, but she stuck around to move the garland after the ceremony. Based on her beautiful photos of her talent, and her genuine and caring outlook for her clients, I knew there was no one else I wanted to be a part of our wedding day. From the initial contact I knew Kaylia would be the right one for us! She was very responsive and would always followed up as promised. She took the time to listen to my envision and would take detailed notes. In less then a week after we spoke she had the first draft of an invoice ready and all listed was exactly what we discussed. In the weeks to come Kaylia and I would touch base and she would adjust the details and invoice accordingly. There were never surprises and all was accurate. A month before our wedding Kaylia provided us with a detailed layout full of pictures which she calls the "design board/portfolio". I was so impressed. AMAZING!!! GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND! I am so thankful I found Kaylia with Tumbleweed Floral Truck! I had had just gotten married on 3/03/2017, and had been looking for a florist for many months. I had such a hard time finding a great florist. I probably inquired with 5-6 different florists, with pictures of my vision for my bridal bouquet, and when the florist would reply of pictures of their work, it didn't really click LOL! It wasn't until I stumbled across Tumbleweed Floral Trucks Instagram and Yelp page, and while browsing photos, I knew inside in my gut feeling " I FOUND MY FLORIST!" Kaylia was very sweet and mainly exchanged consultations through email. I explained to her my vision of what I wanted, garden roses, ranunculus, and lots of variations of fresh greenery like lambs ear and eucalyptus! And best thing of all, she was very honest and respectful of my budget, I was SO THANKFUL for that! I wasn't avail to pick up my flowers, so I had one of my groomsmen do the task for me. Since we mainly consulted through email, I was dying to see how the bouquet was going to turn out. Once the groomsman arrived to my room and showed me my bridal bouquet I literally died and went to heaven! It was PERFECT! Everything we had discussed in email was precisely executed! I had stumbled upon tumbleweed floral truck through Instagram, and I couldn't be happier! I reached out to Kaylia (who's an absolute doll) asking if she would be able to make flower crowns for my daughter's 6 month photoshoot and realizing it was a little less then a week away I took my chances. I sent her three photos and a description of what I was wanting and she hit it spot on. She was fast at responding and told me she could have it done the day of so that they would be fresh!
