MARGHERITA pizza. Cheese was barely melted
Macauley N.

Open space, friendly service. Plenty of parking with a lot in front. Great spot for a casual lunch.

Lasagna with garlic bread - excellent.
Tom K.

Wife and I sat at the bar for dinner on our regular Thursday date night, where we pick a different place every week. Tonight's special was Lasagna with garlic bread which she got, and I had a Chicken Tikka Pizza. Not a big fan of Indian food but wanted to try something different. Pizza was fresh, cheesy, great flavor and the scratch-made crust is fantastic. She said the lasagna was maybe the best she's ever had. There was also a guy playing instrumental hits on the keyboard, which created a cool, yet relaxed, vibe. Service was great, food was fantastic, and we look forward to going back again.

We really enjoyed the visit for a late Saturday lunch. Several of our party of 5 ordered fish and chips and raved about the quality and quantity of their dish and boxed 1/2 to take home. I ordered the Cobb salad with the addition of blackened chicken, as it does not come with the protein ingredient as a standard. There are also options to add salmon or shrimp, which sounds like an interesting twist. My salad was fresh and delicious with the expected blue cheese, bacon, hard boiled egg, and avocado on a bed of crunchy chopped romaine. Service was great and food orders were all fulfilled quickly. Seating is comfortable. Noise level was mild while we were there in the early afternoon and large screen TVs were tuned in to football broadcasts. Looking forward to future visits and believe it has great value. Parking lot is huge with free parking and easy accessibility to the restaurant.

Delicious food. Not a berry big menu, but everything looked like it would be good and everything we ordered was yummy. Service was not very good, but I thought the design was pretty cool and the food was good.

STEAK SPECIAL

I follow the DateListLou Instagram page for date and dining ideas and they did a video recently raving about this restaurant. I'm glad u saved the video because this place is AMAZING. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but after our waiter described the steak special, I had to order it. This was a ribeye on a balsamic glaze topped with chimichurri sauce with roasted carrots and cauliflower on the side. I loved every bite. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and we felt very welcomed. I loved the casual vibes with the affordable prices with top notch food. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Baked Brie

This was a cute little place my husband and I wandered into. There was a live music by a keyboardist that was lovely. We started with the baked Brie which was phenomenal. My husband got the steak burger and I got the chicken tikka pizza. Both were very good. The place is small so the service was a bit slow but still very attentive and kept our drinks full!

I stopped in for a pre-rehearsal meal and drink (or two). Traffic is crazy these days, especially near this spot with the VA hospital construction and highway projects...so I, having the ability and time, took a different way to Noosh Nosh and got there early, while my dining companion got caught in all of it and ended up being a little late. Not a big deal for us. But it seemed that the staff did not want to serve me more than an initial water before she arrived. Even when I told then I planned on getting a drink while I waited. But getting anyone to return to the table, let alone look at me to get their attention to call them over...a surprising struggle. And the place was empty! It wasn't like they couldn't see me. To say the least, I was frustrated and a bit cranky about it. Eventually, I also had to order for both myself and my friend before she got there because traffic made our time become crunched...and again, I struggled with getting a server to acknowledge me and come over. I ordered for us and the food was delivered moments before my friend arrived. I got the goat cheese dip appetizer and it was fine. I had hoped for more cheese so it would be more of a spready-dip than a soggy tomato wetness with little bits of cheese. But it was fine. My first cocktail, a lavender lemon drop was really good. The sugar rim was minimal enough to seem pointless except to make your glass and fingers a little sticky...but I get the concept for it. I am not against returning here for a meal or drinks, but I hope the service is better.

We love coming here! Usually stop by for dinner, however, came this morning for breakfast/brunch..was awesome! Wonderful latte and Bloody Mary!

I have heard a lot about this place. This time I finally get to stop by since they are doing pizza week. Before I order pizza. I was curious and looking over the menu. The menu looks so good that make me want to come back for real. I ordered old fashioned and it is very strong. So I had to slow down while I am waiting on food. The pizza is phenomenal! It is just the right amount and it is not too hot because it is still fresh from oven. The flavors were so good! I had good service and the waitress was so nice and so is the hostess.

I don't recall our server giving us her name but we came in and were seated rather quickly. It was mostly an older crowd and not much diversity just of note. We ordered a few drinks and food. Everything was great, though I did feel that my caprihinia tasted slightly off. The noise was moderate and staff were all nice. No complaints.

Jane R.

This place is a cute brunch spot but has a limited brunch menu. I went with the eggs Benedict and my partner got the Santa Fe omelet. The breakfast pizzas looked fun though! I'll definitely come back here for pizza which it looks like they are known for that.

I love the food here so much!! Huge menu with a massive variety of options that would serve anyone. Only complaint is that it seems pricey for a fairly casual feel of a place. Cobb salad is 21$ if you add chicken! Excellent Cobb but that seems super super steep for lunch at a place that is casual on the inside

You order at the window, take a buzzer, get your drinks and find somewhere to sit. We (a party of 4) showed up around 11 on a Sunday morning and the line was already out the door. We had a hard time deciding what to order because everything we saw coming out before us looked just as delicious as the last. After the owner greeted us and gave a run down while in line, we settled on the shrimp and grits, steak and eggs, bread pudding french toast with a side of bacon, and a chicken and bacon croissant sandwich. (I wanted to order the biscuits and gravy weekend feature but they were already sold out.) The girl at the register was polite but very soft spoken so we had trouble hearing what she said. The coffee was the perfect temperature for drinking immediately without scalding yourself, and the different flavorings and types of milk/cream to choose from was a major plus! There were no complaints about any of our food except the steak was a bit under seasoned. I had the french toast, and, in my opinion, is enough for 2 people. There was a bit too much whipped buttercream for me but I was able to rake off majority, and the fruit that came on top was so fresh! The bacon was thick sliced and 3 of my 4 pieces were cooked perfectly to my liking - not too crispy, not too soft! We all were part of the clean plate club after eating because the food was that good! I wished now we would have taken pics of our food before eating! It's a shame it came up as #16 on my Yelp search because it wasn't even the least bit on my radar for our breakfast spot. The restaurant has a back parking lot and on street parking - the restaurant is quite large with two indoor seating areas and outdoor patio seating. The menu is large with a big brunch menu, lunch and entree options and kid's menu. We started with the s'mores hot chocolate and apple cider mimosas. The hot chocolate was pipping hot and delicious topped with toasted marshmallows. The apple cider mimosas had a weird flavor, I would recommend going with another fruit juice option. We ordered the kids buttered noodles with waffle on the side - big wide noodles that were swimming in butter. My son thought it was too much butter but loved the type of noodles. The waffle was good - not very sweet but he enjoyed it. My daughter loved the chicken and waffles entree, but I thought the portion was a bit small for an adult entree. The chicken was freshly breaded but the waffle was on the smaller side. The sandwiches and soups were delicious - we had the club which was filled with ham and turkey and the perfect amount of mayo. The tomato soup was creamy and so satisfying. The Ruben was a good size and stuffed with corned beef and melty cheese! Overall we had a great experience- a bit on the pricey side. The Hot Brown is an open-faced turkey sandwich. A thick slice of turkey is served over thick-sliced bread. The turkey is covered with mornay (béchamel with Gruyère cheese), topped with bacon, sprinkled with parmasean and broiled in a gratin-dish, served with a roasted tomato. It's gooey and cheesy, turkey moist and tender, bacon crisp. Very hearty, very filling. Unique, definitely worth trying. Not sure I'm having another one, but glad I experienced it.

I went to Foko after hearing nonstop hype about it being one of the absolute best breakfast spots…read morein Louisville. The place is positioned as this incredible Mexican breakfast destination, so I figured it had to be something special. Turns out it's just standard Mexican food and drinks. Even if they were using using "the freshest most highest quality ingredients", it doesn't show in the final product at all. Heres what i got: The Espresso Martini ($14) was actually decent--nice and foamy with a solid chocolate note. The Carajillo ($8), on the other hand, was weak. It tasted like plain iced coffee with zero detectable alcohol. I wouldn't order it again. The Wake Up Burrito $14: their biggest hype item. I got it and added chorizo for $3.50, bringing the total to nearly $17.50. It's sausage, cheese, eggs, and beans wrapped up--pretty good, but nothing groundbreaking. Without their green sauce it's completely average, no different from any regular breakfast burrito at a diner. The green sauce itself is what really the only saving grace, but they serve it in tiny thimble-size portions like they're guarding some secret recipe. So for $18 you get a medium-size burrito plus a couple of fried tortillas with cheese on the side. Compare that to mexican spot like Bandito, where the burritos are twice the size and cost much less. This one is seriously overrated. The Chilaquiles - I got the side order of these with the burrito, and were average at best. Just fried tortillas with cheese and a little sauce that had a slightly sour edge. Not bad, but nothing I'd call amazing. I thought to myself, if these had egg and beans(what the main dish has) , would I have been glad to pay $17? The answer is no. Ive had better at the airport. Bottom line: Foko is incredibly overrated. It feels like a tourist trap built for people for those Luisville people who who don't eat much Mexican food and think this is the pinnacle. I get it, the decor is nice and gives that "premium" feel but the prices are way too high for what you actually get. I won't be back.
