This place is the bomb diggity. Servers are outstanding, food was great. They do a special on sliders on Mondays. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere on the inside of the location I would recommend sitting outside if you can.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Nice vibe, amazing service! We came with a group of friends for lunch after church and none of us had visited / heard of this place before! The menu has tons of delicious options from salads and burgers, to fish options or sandwiches. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potatoes fries; my husband got the reuben with tater tots. We were both so blown away by the quality of the food. My sandwich was juicy, flavored just right, and tasted amazing. The sweet potato fries were crispy without being too hard. My husband loved his sandwich - made with meat from a smoker out back!! We all joked that we were gonna come back for dinner it was so good. Our waiter was incredible. He talked to us about the place, how it started, the owners and said he truly felt so passionate about his job and the place. It was really cool. We will definitely be back!

If your familiar with Norton Commons than your familiar with Karems. We stopped in for their Grand Re-Opening a few weeks ago after new owners took over. It still looks exactly the same and has your neighborhood bar feel, continuing the tradition as Norton Commons Neighborhood "Cheers" The new menu is a combination of new and old selections alike. We started with the Hot Brown Fritters with Smoked Gouda Fondu. Can I just say FIRE!!!! For all y'all tomato haters out there like me, it's has crushed up sun-dried tomatoes and you'd never even know their in there! We also tried the hand battered fried chicken tenders tossed in Buffalo sauce which were also delicious. I can't wait to go back to simply hang out and eat delicious food.

I've heard about this place for a while but finally visited! Got carry-out of course, since COVID-19. I called them and they said they'd be ready in ten minutes. They have a lot of homemade sides that I'll have to try next time. I got the Reuben with fries. Yum! So filling! It's hard to find a good Reuben, especially below the Mason-Dixon. The fries had cracked black pepper on it. Wow! So good! My sister got the Caesar chicken wrap with chips. She enjoyed and also found it filling! Prices were fantastic! Service was great too! I'd try something else off the menu.

Crazy that they pass the 3% credit card fee on to their customers - their food is already too expensive!

Went with my husband for a family dinner night. Had a…read moreblueberry lemon drop martini, which was excellent. Next came the Lexingatonian salad. So cold, crisp & delicious. Main course was the blue crab linguine. Wow! Creamy & a little slice of heaven! Great service. Was busy for a Saturday evening but we made reservations so no worries. Have never been but plan to go back.

We've been eating at Malone's for many many years. Made special trips to Lexington regularly…read morebefore the Louisville location opened and have since eat at the Louisville location dozens of times. I've had some really good meals here and I've had some really bad meals here. As of the last year or so, the meals are more often bad than not. Especially once you factor in the price tag. I will say, our last several visits have been on a Sunday afternoon; not sure if that plays a factor in our experience or not. The some beach cocktail was awful and tasted like straight cheap coconut rum (I've had it before and it was quite good). The tempura vegetables chef feature appetizer was missing the sweet potatoes and pickled carrots advertised, the tempura breading didn't stick to the vegetables hardly at all, the broccoli pieces were so large they had to be cut up before they could be eaten, and the lotus root was way too thick. The server was oblivious about the chef's features. Made comment about it several times and was confused when I ordered some of the chef's features. If it's new, I get it, but would recommend he take a few minutes to familiarize himself. The seared spinalis I ordered cooked medium came out well done, end pieces were burnt to a crisp and tough. My wife ordered a well done New York strip that came out medium at best and the whipped potatoes were SWIMMING in butter. The potatoes may be as the Chef wanted them to be, I'm not sure, but if so, I don't know why anyone would want this. By the time you stir in all that extra butter you have very thin greasy potatoes bordering on potato soup. The server did offer to re-fire my steak and have my wife's cooked more to which we declined. I'm not a fan of doing that, especially cooking a stake more the second time because the outside becomes too done/burnt and the inside becomes dry. At this price point, she should have been offered a fresh steak in my opinion. The manager came by later and offered again, to which my Wife gave in and let her have it brought up to temp. To no one's surprise, it came back with the outside burnt to a crisp and the rest dry and tough (Even more so than well done already is. I recognize that well done steaks are tough/dry in general but she has been eating them here for years and brags about how they still manage to get it tender and juicy from her perspective). She also made mention that the herbed butter that comes with the bread wasn't very flavorful and nowhere near as good as normal and that we should have taken that as a sign. The server ended up comping my steak, which I appreciate. In all fairness, they made an effort to make it right. I feel like they could have done a bit more, especially with her steak but I'm not really upset about the service/response. It's just that the last several visits have been very sub par for the price point and from the quality I know Malones is capable of providing.

I'm so glad we found this place yesterday. We arrived early in Louisville for a networking event…read moreand wanted to hang out somewhere with a nice outside area. We definitely found the right place. The patio area with the Koi pond and waterfall was perfect. My wife and I had the Fried Green Tomatoes and Selena's Crab Caps. Their menu looks amazing as did the specials of the day. We didn't have time to eat a full meal, but did enjoy our time outside. Our server was great and one of the owners did come by to check on us also. I would definitely come back to try more of their food.

I'm not sure if the $2 version was a smaller size or only offered at certain times, but honestly... the drinks were still worth it. The flavor was amazing, and unlike a lot of brunch drinks that taste watered down, these were actually strong. Two glasses definitely had me feeling tipsy, so I can't complain too much there. The main reason I took off a star was the parking situation and accessibility concerns. The handicap parking is positioned perpendicular to the main road, which honestly feels unsafe when backing out. If someone already has mobility or visibility limitations, backing directly into a busy road can be stressful and dangerous. The rest of the parking area is also gravel, which can be difficult to navigate with mobility aids, wheelchairs, walkers, or even just for someone unsteady on their feet. It's one of those situations where it's great that handicap parking exists close to the entrance, but the actual setup still creates challenges. Outside of that, the drinks themselves were genuinely really good, the atmosphere was fun, and I'd probably still come back for another brunch date.
