We visited BBB on a Saturday morning and the place was hopping! We were quickly seated and I asked the waitress for some recommendations. She highlighted some of the popular menu items, and, in the end, we placed an order for one breakfast burrito and three breakfast platters. Our food arrived pretty quickly. I was so looking forward to some sausage gravy and theirs was pretty good, although I would have loved for it to have been served a little hotter. My eggs, sausage, and potato cakes were all very good and my dining companions also enjoyed their meals. My husband, who judges his breakfast by how good the bacon is, was very pleased. The only drawback was that it was a bit loud inside, but I guess anytime you have that many people in one room it gets a little loud. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend BBB to others looking for a good place for brunch.

Very tasty, the smoked sausage was one of the best I've ever had! Service was great, and food came out quickly

Great breakfast and brunch spot in Louisville. They have several locations too! The fruit on the waffle was super fresh and the biscuits had a great taste. The omelet was a big portion! Definitely enough to split with someone and maybe get a waffle! The steak n eggs were a hit and of course we had to get a bruleed grapefruit on the side! Our server was super sweet and recommended several things and brought us different jams to taste. The inside is decorated super cute with the led sign too!

BBB is your classic breakfast spot with a good selection and crowded on the weekends. The service was friendly and the food was solid. Quality fresh squeezed OJ and the biscuit which is a part of many dishes was good, but nothing special. The huevos was unique as grits were added in and were a good breakfast option outside of the classic. The creole omelet with tomato gravy was filling and the seafood was fresh and well seasoned.

Our first brunch at the new location of BBB. Welcome to Middletown! I used Yelp to get on the waiting list and at 12:30p there wasn't an issue to walk in without it. I appreciated being seated at a booth per my waiting list request. My teen got the chicken and waffles - delicious! They have a bit of a kick to them so keep your water glass filled. The sausage biscuits and gravy was perfect and not spicy. I added an egg and split this with my teen, while also ordering an egg and biscuit sandwich. It comes with cheese. My bacon was $3.50 which wasn't worth the up charge. Coffee is basic and worth it when you need the kick. Our only issue with today's experience was the service and it was specific to our server. She went MIA after taking our order. Thankfully other team members filled in for her with delivering our food and bringing us more coffee and water (although I had to walk up to the bar for help). I watched all of her tables looking for her to request service, from paying their bill to getting other items and drinks. It was disappointing to leave a gratuity for her rather than another server. Several tables inside. If you visited Zeggz in the past, it's the same layout but fun artwork. Where do I get a copy of Mona Lisa drinking her coffee?! We will be back and I'm confident with another server it'll be a 5-star hotel experience. The parking lot is a bit of a challenge but the pizza place next to it doesn't open until BBB closes.

We recently had a wonderful breakfast at this location in Middletown. We arrived at a busy time and had about a 20 minute wait. Next time I will join the waitlist before arriving. We ordered biscuits and sausage gravy, Brulé grapefruit, French toast and scrambled eggs. Everything was really good! Our server Ty was so friendly and helpful and guiding us in our decisions. I'll look forward to another great breakfast in the near future!

I don't know I ordered the old school wrap

Food was horrific biscuits was stale hard as bricks, I ordered the old school wrap and it had black beans whole red potatoes and jalapeño peppers, and no eggs , this wasn't the Old school wrap. I called and spoke with the manager whose name was Lindsey was so unbothered. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU EAT SLOP!!!! Same on them.

So Big Bad Breakfast was a mixed bag. I had the Vietnamese coffee, breakfast platter with eggs over medium, spicy bacon, a biscuit, and a side of sausage gravy. Let's start with what was good. The biscuit was delicious. Would recommend. Side of strawberry and blackberry jams. Yum. The sign in the bathroom for a 5 star deuce, funny but doesn't match the restraint vibes. Sitting at the Bar our server Emily worked her butt off. She was doing 5x the job of everyone else and still managed to make sure we had personalized service. Now to what could improve: The restaurant needs to do something to make the working experience of their staff particularly behind the bar better. The counters are way too high and makes the workers have to work constantly with their arms raised to make drink or serve. There are not pads or anything to ease the stress of someone who will be in their feet constantly. An ergonomic nightmare. They need to invest in raising the area on a platform or something to make the job easier. At minimum invest in some working pads. Viet Coffee was was overly sweet and poured from a large premade batch. Simple enough to make each of those individually. Eggs cooked closer to over easy but that's fairly common mistake. The bacon was hot but so crispy it's like it was cooked a long time ago and kept under a warmer. Consistency was that of very crunchy dry bacon bits. No real spiciness to speak of. The gravy was just missing something, maybe more pepper, I don't know. It didn't hit.

We had a wonderful brunch over the weekend! This was our first time at this location and we will for sure be back. The staff were friendly and our service was great, they really took care of us! We waited about 15-20 mins, there just wasn't a ton of room to wait but other than that it was great! My food was delicious and the mimosa really hit the spot

We definitely found the right place. The patio area with the Koi pond and waterfall was perfect. My wife and I had the Fried Green Tomatoes and Selena's Crab Caps. Their menu looks amazing as did the specials of the day. We didn't have time to eat a full meal, but did enjoy our time outside. Our server was great and one of the owners did come by to check on us also. I would definitely come back to try more of their food.

I'm not sure if the $2 version was a smaller size or only offered at certain times, but honestly... the drinks were still worth it. The flavor was amazing, and unlike a lot of brunch drinks that taste watered down, these were actually strong. Two glasses definitely had me feeling tipsy, so I can't complain too much there. The main reason I took off a star was the parking situation and accessibility concerns. The handicap parking is positioned perpendicular to the main road, which honestly feels unsafe when backing out. If someone already has mobility or visibility limitations, backing directly into a busy road can be stressful and dangerous. The rest of the parking area is also gravel, which can be difficult to navigate with mobility aids, wheelchairs, walkers, or even just for someone unsteady on their feet. It's one of those situations where it's great that handicap parking exists close to the entrance, but the actual setup still creates challenges. Outside of that, the drinks themselves were genuinely really good, the atmosphere was fun, and I'd probably still come back for another brunch date.

I had so many questions about the menu items. She did a great job and we were finally ready to order. I'm glad she didn't give up on us. We chose an appetizer-SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP with Pita Chips. Oh My! They were heavenly and fresh out of the oven. For our entrees my husband chose the CHICKEN & WAFFLES. The chicken was a breaded patty atop the Waffles and had a rather large mound of honey butter on top and a ramekin of warm maple syrup. I chose the SMASH BURGER that comes with two 1/3 pound angus beef patties, brie, smoked bacon, apple butter, bibb lettuce, and red onion on a toasted brioche bun. It's topped with apple butter. Let me tell you, it was delicious!! I shared a Caesar Salad for my side. It was very large and we were starting to fill up, but it was great. It had parmesan crisps on it. Mackenzie did a great job bringing out dishes at the proper time. We were really having a wonderful time. The ambiance in the restaurant tonight was kind of quiet. There were couples and galentine groups. We had a great time. Then we decided that the "Special Dessert" that Mackenzie mentioned earlier tonight really looked good. They were BEIGNETS, something different from most restaurants and that we just had to try it. Oh was it Yummy. 4 BEIGNETS, sprinkled with sugar and had a swirl of chocolate inside and a little ramekin of vanilla sauce to dip the beignets in. It was YUMMY! It was an amazing night and Mackenzie took some pictures of us together. She was precious! Robyn

The burrata was so well balanced with the accompanying tomato, the tuna was so juicy and well seared, and the lemon sorbet had me dreaming of lemons for hours after. The food is genuinely worth the price point! If you care though, the restaurant is VERY plain. There is very little personality in the decor, and aside from some unconventional chairs and a tile floor by the bar, nothing really sticks out as pleasing to the eye. I chose this restaurant for Valentine's Day to have a romantic, intimate atmosphere, and the vibe was giving summer camp lunch. The floor plan is very open and super grey, with plain wood tables. Even the servers were in very casual clothing. Any other night this would have been fine, but for Valentine's Day, I wish I had picked something more romantic. Overall I really enjoyed the food here and will for sure be back, just not for any special occasions.
