Always consistently good! I love their monthly themes. Surprisingly good smash burgers!

Latte, sugar-feee option. Yum! (Background mug is seasonal pumpkin spice latte.)

Party of 3 adults and 1 child for a Saturday brunch after a 5K Urban Bourbon walk. We were famished. I started with a sugar-free latte and my pals each had a seasonal pumpkin spice latte and hot chocolate -- all parties were happy. Two split a cinnamon roll (gargantuan size!) and were very, very happy. I ordered a V-8 juice drink along with a brunch scramble of eggs, spinach, chicken sausage, mushrooms, and goat cheese, along with a side of skillet potatoes and peppers and onions. All items were cooked well and very flavorful. Everyone left here satisfied and complementary of the choice.

Another good breakfast at Morning Fork!!! We had the breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage instead of the bacon, and the corned beef hash with hash browns instead of sweet potatoes, and no Bernaise sauce. They get busy quick and since we didn't have a reservation we ended up sitting at the bar, where we had the wonderful bartender Hildy wait on us. Then pace is small but cozy, and not too small where it fills like you're on top of each other. The food here is always good, and they have a different them every month. The them today was Halloween/Wicked. We like to visit Morning Fork when we're in town and staying in Butchertown.

Wow!! What an AMAZING spot! From the moment you arrive to the greeting from our server, the service, the extraordinary flavors of every dish we tried wow!! What an amazing spot! Great vibes, good tunes, no doubt one of our new favorite spots!! When here ask for my guy Aaron

We had a great breakfast here! I first got a taste of Morning Fork at the Gravy Cup and I couldn't wait to try out their full menu! It was a grey day but still nice enough to eat outside and be seated right away. I never go for a sweet breakfast option, but the server's emphatic recommendation of the French toast swayed me. This was an amazing decision, especially with my husband ordering the corned beef hash. We really got the best of both worlds. We just sat on their patio, but I've heard they have cool rotating themes inside. We'll have to be back to check them out. Great brunch, would highly recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the vibe was awesome! Everything had great flavor and was beautifully presented. Our server, Tammy, was amazing -- super friendly and did such a great job with her presentation. We'll definitely will be back.

One of my favorite places for brunch! The food is always fresh and so good! The owner is super nice and comes around the tables to make sure that everyone is good and enjoying their time there. Our server was very good taking care of our large party! I always enjoy their double mimosas and love their vegetable omelet. I really like the MFN breakfast sandwich too. The inside is small but they have a nice bar and a patio where you can enjoy their awesome menu.

I loved the vibe of this place as it was really cozy and everyone was super sweet. But the food was just not up to par. Small portions, not so much flavor, average presentation. The skillet potatoes were especially disappointing--they were pretty unappetizing. Probably won't give this place another shot.

This place has the best cinnamon rolls. the Jumbo House Made Cinnamon Roll, and the Country Breakfast (eggs, breakfast meat and toast your way) is the choice if you are in the area for a great breakfast option. My wife opted for the MF'n Breakfast Sandwich consisting of Over Hard Fried Eggs, Crispy Candied Bacon, Avocado, Blackberry Jam and White Cheddar Cheese on Toasted Hawaiian Bread with a side of Fresh Fruit. It is one of the best breakfast options there is in Louisville, It's the ultimate sweet and savory breakfast favorite. If you would like the Bloody Mary for breakfast the House made version with Bacon salt and Wheatley Vodka is a true work of art. This place also has a full menu that is served from 7 am to 3 pm Wednesday thru Sunday. We also to tried the house made chili, totally unique and delicious. Start your day off right, this is the place to go you will be better for it. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. A great place, will return and highly recommend.

We visited morning Fork while in Louisville, Kentucky. We decided to go for brunch where we enjoyed some delicious mimosas. I got an apple cider mimosa special, which I thought was very unique and I've never seen before and perfect for a touch of fall. It tasted good and I thought it was exceptionally nice that they didn't charge more for apple cider instead of the standard orange juice. I got a gravy and biscuit bowl with an over medium egg on top which I thought was savory and gooey delicious. My husband got a maple bacon breakfast sandwich. I also got a side of garlic butter grits which I expected to be exploding with flavor, unfortunately, it wasn't exactly that, but they were still good. The hashbrowns were very unique and I've never seen them prepared that way before and I also thought they very good, especially considering the crunchy contrast of the outside compared to the warm soft potato inside. We decided to enjoy this lovely morning outside where it was peaceful and we were able to bring our dogs which is always a plus. Service was fast and friendly and attentive, not only to us, but also to our dogs. They did also mention that it's very common for people to order their dog food off the menu as well which I thought was a super awesome option for dog lovers. Overall, this place, definitely impressed us, I wouldn't say that the food was phenomenal, but definitely better than your average Joe breakfast spot.

We came for their themed brunch (Star Wars week!) and had an awesome experience. The menu was creative and fun without feeling gimmicky--the food was actually delicious and super well-executed. Service was great across the board, and the staff was friendly and on top of everything. The owner, Geoffrey Heyde, even came by to check in on us, which was a nice personal touch. You can tell he cares about the experience. They do these special themed menus for one week each month, and now we want to come back just to see what they come up with next. If you're in Louisville and love brunch, Morning Fork is a must.

Cute brunch spot. I had the MF'n breakfast sandwich. It was really good. It comes with fresh fruit and I added a side of the roasted garlic & white cheddar grits. The grits tasted kind of bland to me. I also tried the Spicy watermelon margarita. It was so good!! I was surprised that I was able to easily find parking, especially since it was a Saturday morning. I also love that they have patio seating.

For those with ADHD and won't read past the first sentence...this place is a 9.5/10!!!…read more For those who read more than the first sentence...this is a service counter restaurant with no servers. You order at the window, take a buzzer, get your drinks and find somewhere to sit. We (a party of 4) showed up around 11 on a Sunday morning and the line was already out the door. We had a hard time deciding what to order because everything we saw coming out before us looked just as delicious as the last. After the owner greeted us and gave a run down while in line, we settled on the shrimp and grits, steak and eggs, bread pudding french toast with a side of bacon, and a chicken and bacon croissant sandwich. (I wanted to order the biscuits and gravy weekend feature but they were already sold out.) The girl at the register was polite but very soft spoken so we had trouble hearing what she said. The coffee was the perfect temperature for drinking immediately without scalding yourself, and the different flavorings and types of milk/cream to choose from was a major plus! There were no complaints about any of our food except the steak was a bit under seasoned. I had the french toast, and, in my opinion, is enough for 2 people. There was a bit too much whipped buttercream for me but I was able to rake off majority, and the fruit that came on top was so fresh! The bacon was thick sliced and 3 of my 4 pieces were cooked perfectly to my liking - not too crispy, not too soft! We all were part of the clean plate club after eating because the food was that good! I wished now we would have taken pics of our food before eating! It's a shame it came up as #16 on my Yelp search because it wasn't even the least bit on my radar for our breakfast spot. But luckily, the tag line, "The second best thing you can do in the morning", caught the attention of one our male guests Definitely will be back when the chance arises!

When it's said "they don't make them like this anymore", this place is what they mean. Ornate, elaborate and straight out of another era. I didn't stay at the Brown, so don't know what the rooms are like but if the lobby is an indication, I think it would be pretty cool. Stopped into J. Graham's on a Weds afternoon at 12:30. It was about half full. Service is quick and friendly. From looking around the room, it seemed that most people ordered the Hot Brown even though there is an extensive menu of other options. The Hot Brown is an open-faced turkey sandwich. A thick slice of turkey is served over thick-sliced bread. The turkey is covered with mornay (béchamel with Gruyère cheese), topped with bacon, sprinkled with parmasean and broiled in a gratin-dish, served with a roasted tomato. It's gooey and cheesy, turkey moist and tender, bacon crisp. Very hearty, very filling. Unique, definitely worth trying. Not sure I'm having another one, but glad I experienced it.

I almost always get the Wake Up Burrito, which is loaded and satisfying, but I've heard great things about the breakfast sando, chilaquiles, and pancakes from friends too. The space has a cool, artistic vibe, the staff is welcoming, and it's the kind of place you want to linger at with a second cup of coffee. Whether you're a local or visiting, put this on your list!

I went to Foko after hearing nonstop hype about it being one of the absolute best breakfast spots…read morein Louisville. The place is positioned as this incredible Mexican breakfast destination, so I figured it had to be something special. Turns out it's just standard Mexican food and drinks. Even if they were using using "the freshest most highest quality ingredients", it doesn't show in the final product at all. Heres what i got: The Espresso Martini ($14) was actually decent--nice and foamy with a solid chocolate note. The Carajillo ($8), on the other hand, was weak. It tasted like plain iced coffee with zero detectable alcohol. I wouldn't order it again. The Wake Up Burrito $14: their biggest hype item. I got it and added chorizo for $3.50, bringing the total to nearly $17.50. It's sausage, cheese, eggs, and beans wrapped up--pretty good, but nothing groundbreaking. Without their green sauce it's completely average, no different from any regular breakfast burrito at a diner. The green sauce itself is what really the only saving grace, but they serve it in tiny thimble-size portions like they're guarding some secret recipe. So for $18 you get a medium-size burrito plus a couple of fried tortillas with cheese on the side. Compare that to mexican spot like Bandito, where the burritos are twice the size and cost much less. This one is seriously overrated. The Chilaquiles - I got the side order of these with the burrito, and were average at best. Just fried tortillas with cheese and a little sauce that had a slightly sour edge. Not bad, but nothing I'd call amazing. I thought to myself, if these had egg and beans(what the main dish has) , would I have been glad to pay $17? The answer is no. Ive had better at the airport. Bottom line: Foko is incredibly overrated. It feels like a tourist trap built for people for those Luisville people who who don't eat much Mexican food and think this is the pinnacle. I get it, the decor is nice and gives that "premium" feel but the prices are way too high for what you actually get. I won't be back.
