Celebrated our 46th first date anniversary this evening along with our daughter and son in law. It was an excellent, special dining experience. We were given champagne at the entrance by the hostess for a toast, nice touch. We were escorted through the resturant and showed the restrooms as well as the display of steak choices. Another nice touch. We were seated and served water and asked about drink orders. We all stuck with water. The server, Amber was very helpful with explanations of the specials as well as individual steak options. We opted for the Tenderloin flight, a 4oz filet, a 4 oz prime and 5 oz wagya. Most of us enjoyed the filet best, then the prime and the wagya the least. Keep in mind the wagya was excellent but the other two cuts were enjoyed more. With the exception of my son in law, wagya was his favorite. All were tender and juicy and cooked to perfection, medium rare. We ordered a large wedge salad to share, romaine lettce, blue cheese, pecans, bacon, served with a hot bacon dressing. Not sure why it's called a wedge salad but it was very tasty, dressing made the salad. We ordered mashed potato pattis, that were good, suburb grit cakes that were like nothing I've ever had and everyones favorite side, the limas, in a cream sauce with country ham crisp, again not like anything I've ever had and again excellent and lastly the green that were seasoned to perfection and very tender. We were given a complimentary anniversary dessert, a crisp pecan shell with a white chocolate mousse, and a a berry compote. It was my husbands favorite. We ordered two additional desserts. The chocolate bread pudding with ice cream. My daughters favorite. And lastly the Rumchatta butter cake, a rich butter cake that was so moist but also crunchy on the edges. Mine and my son in law's favorite. Service was exceptional, never an empty water glass, plates cleared as soon as we finished a dish and all servers were super sweet, polite and accomodating. Large parking lot, so no problem parking. I would suggest walking around to see if there is one area more than another where you would prefer to sit. I did that at the end and would have rather been in one of the back rooms instead of the bar area, just a thought. Highly recommend. read more

My family stopped in here to have lunch for the first time and everything was phenomenal. Preston and Bradley took care of us and went above and beyond. We tried the French press coffee as well as an espresso martini and a citrusy cocktail. All were amazing. For food we tried two types of Benedict, the salmon and steak. We also got chicken & waffles, and steak & eggs. This place truly leaves no room for error. Everything was delicious but the waffle was a table favorite. Le Moo Drag brunch is such a fun time!! The breakfast "buffet" was delicious! The buffet wasn't self serve and it was only one trip through but there was a good amount of food choices. I do wish the food choices were available prior to the brunch. The entertainment was amazing! The brunch I went to was Taylor Swift themed. It was great to see the drag queens perform. The music is quite loud so I do recommend bringing ear plugs just in case. The staff was super friendly and attentive during the entire show. read more

My friend and I made reservations for our holiday lunch at Le Moo. The online reservation process was seamless and quick! I love the decorations inside Le Moo, always seems very sophisticated and fancy. The lunch menu is great with options ranging from appetizers, salads, soup, wraps, burgers, etc. We started with the bread basket - it's crazy you pay $10 for bread and butter but it was really good and the portion size was large. For our mains I ordered the Caesar salad and French onion soup, the salad was okay but the anchovy was overpowering. The portion size was very small for a $11 salad, but it did include an egg and slice of bacon. The soup portion was large and was full of crostini and a thick cheese crust ($12). It's definitely something you could share. My friend ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which she loved. It came with fries for $18. read more

I was in town for a surprise birthday party for my dad and decided to catch up with an old friend. He brought me here and shared he loved the place. We came for brunch. Let me just say, this place is very beautiful on the inside. I loved the aesthetic. We came for brunch and it wasn't too crowded. I ended dup ordering the Bayou Mets Grinstead (Shrimp and Grits). Overall I loved the concept but it was super salty. I actually didn't even finish the meal. Also, I was slightly annoyed that a server (not our server) kept coming over and suggesting how I should eat the food (mixing it altogether). He came by and mentioned it (which was fine), but then he came by 2 more times and honestly he was interrupting our conversation to confirm he was right about the best way to eat shrimp and grits. I would definitely go back as I would love to experience the dinner menu. I have heard such positive things about this place. read more

This is a fantastic place. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed in my experience. The staff are always incredible helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. They know the ingredients and were able to help my gluten free/dairy free friend find something easily. We were checked on often and service was top notch. The food is great too. I've had a few things over my time here, but most recent at my friend's birthday I had a delicious cocktail (forgot the name but it was similar to a paper plane) and Mom's Steak and Eggs which was soo tasty and the meat was cooked perfectly at medium and very flavorful (both pictured). Also when it's your birthday they leave little surprises for you, which adds a special touch. It's decorated very cool and it is spacious. Another amazing dining experience. We've been here for dinner, brunch, and a drag brunch. I made a reservation for a party of 12 for my husband's 40th birthday. We were greeted with champagne by a lovely hostess and then seated in a semi private room. Complete with balloons, hubs was also gifted some cracker jacks (the owners fave) and a card. Had the chocolate brioche bread pudding-it was somewhat hard and we tasted no bourbon in it at all. Bread pudding should be satisfyingly saturated and soft with juices. My husband and I were recently in Louisville for a week. This restaurant was close to where we were staying, and we decided to try it. One menu option is a flight of steaks...you get a choice, a prime, and a wagyu filet...two of them are 4 oz each and one is 6 oz. It was just enough for the two of us to share for lunch. I had a Caesar salad and the dressing was just right. My husband had collard greens and said they were very tasty and not "sharp" tasting like they can be sometimes. All three steaks were very tender and tasty. We sat at the bar as we usually do when dining, and the bartender was very welcoming and attentive. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a shout out for her help. They have some fun cow pictures on the walls. Nice atmosphere and inviting interior. We recently visited Le Moo it was the first time after a long break. When we arrived I alerted the hostess that we had a reservation They offered us a toast of champagne while we waited to be seated. When the table was ready I was surprised to find that even with a reservation we found ourselves sitting in the bar area at a small two top. The waitress came over and asked if we'd like some Louisville tap as if thats somehow a premium offering lol. I guess compared to some places it is. We accepted and ordered. I got the steak Diane and wife got the pork chop which our waitress informed us was top grade pork and it was recommended to have it prepared medium -medium well. I was okay with the risk of Trichinosis just so the chop wasn't dry! The food came out after a short wait, we did the supervised please check temperatures of the meat cuts. I hate it when I'm looking at a steak I know is over cooked (not much, but not perfect) and we all know it. Then it's a matter of waiting another ten minutes while my partner eats to get it right ... so I nodded it was fine... and it was tasty. The "sides" mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms very nice but a bit sparse.. I guess from a cost vs quantity perspective. Steak was to me a bit overcooked the red center the waitress described as medium wasn't exactly the case. The chop was exactly as she suggested medium well-ish definitely pink in the center. Near the end a nice lady who I perceived could be in charge or possibly the owner came over and checked on us. That was cool. Server offered dessert we declined ticket wrapped up promptly. All and all the meal was solid and it's certainly a must try if you've never visited before. I'll try Le Moo again sometime down the road. read more

It was my birthday... there was a card and balloons at my table... how amazing. The Smoky Mezcal cocktail was just what someone who likes Mezcal would want. The Burrata is served with little bread pieces and apples... amazing well flavored. My friend and I had tickets to a play in Louisville. We saw LeMoo had a great looking menu and great reviews. We wanted brunch and brunch cocktails. We weren't disappointed! The interior is beautiful with dark wood and comfortable upholstery. Outdoor seating is available during warmer weather.The menu is extensive but on our server's recommendation we went with waffles. I got the traditional and my friend had the blueberry. Light, fluffy and delicious! I got a side of candied bacon to go with my waffle. It was salty sweet perfection. The blueberry waffle came with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream which my friend opted to have on the side instead of on top of her waffle. Another excellent piece of advice from our server ( he said it helped the waffle stay hot longer ). For our cocktails my friend chose the Caroline Mae ( raspberry lovers ) and I chose the Olive Joyce ( elderflower fans ). Both were excellent! We each also partook of espresso martinis. There were four of us for dinner. Server was great, food delicious, and salads were more than adequate.

I met a couple of friends for dinner. We had reservations. The restaurant is clean and has a nice ambiance. Immediately you can tell it's not a run of the mill sit down restaurant. Little touches and decorating choices lend an air to the place that it's a bit higher end. My friend loved her grapefruit spicy margarita. Our orders were taken promptly. Server was fabulous for the most part. Very friendly, not at all pushy, explaining everything in a knowledgeable way. Between the three of us, we had a couple of salads, some seafood chowder, and I had a steak that came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everyone said the food was great and I ate part of my friends salad and it was really delicious. My steak was fantastic and I finished every bite. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly, along with the sides. My favorite part was when the server came along with a tray of knives and explained to me that I had a choice of what type of tool I wanted to use to cut my meat. I admit I had no idea that there were different styles of steak knives and she explained the difference between a French steak knife and the usual kind that is used here in the states. That was a nice touch and a fun experience to have the opportunity to learn something. One of my friends spilled her glass of water and someone, I believe it was a manager, showed up seemingly out of nowhere and cleaned it up quickly and was very gracious about it. Overall, it was a very nice meal and a nice dining experience. It is certainly pricey for my budget, but I would say it is warranted by the high-level of quality of food and service. The only complaint that I have is that once we got our checks, we had somewhere that we needed to be, and it seemed to take a really long time for this server to come back and process our payment. Other than that, it was a great experience. Also, when my friend wanted to take the remainder of her salad to go, they boxed it up for us and gave us a little claim check to pick it up at the hostess stand. I thought that was very nice because I always find it awkward to scrape my plate into a box at the table. I will return to le moo sometime when I'm looking for a nicer restaurant to celebrate something special. read more

My husband and I went to Le Moo for our anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Caleb and Keith were our servers and were attentive, kind, and funny. Not only that but the entire staff were thoughtful and friendly. They offered us a glass of champagne when we arrived and a hand written "happy anniversary " card was waiting at our table. Food-wise, it was stellar. We got a tomahawk steak, Caesar salad and a pecan cheesecake dessert and everything was absolutely delicious!
