This place is super cute and unique. The service was friendly and helpful with choosing and trying flavors. There were tons of options and we all enjoyed all the flavors. I would highly recommend everyone stopping by.

Best ice cream in the OBX!

Our favorite ice cream spot in the OBX! The shop owner is a sweetheart and the ice cream itself is incredibly delicious and creamy but we loved chatting with her. It's so cute inside and we wished they'd sold some stickers or shirts with the actual signage that's out front! We went here several times and tried a bunch of flavors. We loved them all!! Highly recommend Noosa Scoops!!

Double scoop as big as my head. Salted caramel brownie and cookies and cream in a house made waffle cone (also tasty)

New ice cream place! We checked it out because the custard place was closed that day. We ordered a double in a house made waffle cone, and it was ENORMOUS! Recommend a single for just one person! We did share this one. The ice cream is good quality. Both salted caramel brownies and cookies and cream were good. They offer friendly service and will provide samples! The house made waffle cone is worth paying extra for too.

With so many ice cream options around, at least shine on your customer service. The place is fine, typical hard scoop ice cream. When you walk in, the line wraps around and is honestly not smooth to join the line. When we placed our order, I asked for a waffle cone. Keep in mind, there is a speaker right where they ask you for your order. It was hard to hear, as I thought they said, "what type of waffle cone." I asked what did you say? The girl chirped back, homemade or store made. I questioned her again, as to find out, they must offer two different type of waffle cones. She showed me two different types and said homemade. Keep in mind, my wife who ordered the same thing in front of me, didn't have to choose what type of waffle cone. Not sure if the young worker was simply overworked and ready to go, or simply rude and annoyed. Our son ordered a chocolate milkshake without whipped cream, and it came with whipped cream. Oh well, it's ice cream, just won't return, will definitely go somewhere else.

Stopped in for some ice cream after a good meal and came across Noosa Scoops via Yelp. Place was very cute and hip, the staff was very friendly and took our orders as soon as we knew what we wanted to get. I got the cookies and cream milkshake and it was very good. Was satisfied with the size and creaminess overall. Very cute little ice cream shop.

New place and great find! Good flavors and ice cream at a super great price ($4 to start, $3 for extra scoops). 24 flavor choices covering most options though it was lacking something with peanut butter inside of it, my favorite. Staff were kind with one person super new and the other more comfortable. I like the ambience here with mellow music, some indoor seating, outdoor benches and out back tables. I've gone back on fourth on stars because I don't like they limit you to two samples and they don't have peanut butter topping or inside an ice cream. However the space is good, friendly staff, and great price. So five stars and a big ol' recommendation to come here. Brother in low got the açaí bowl and it compares to what he's used to from L.A., it's good.

Updating my review to further express how great their açaí bowls are. This time I ordered online…read morefor pick up. The online ordering system isn't great (see below), however, I eventually found what I was looking for and called to adjust the pick up time. Since the large wasn't available, I chose regular for one bowl and mega for the other. I also paid for extra granola for both. Although the toppings look skimpy, we were pleasantly surprised to find the extra granola at the bottom of the regular bowl. Then the mega bowl was basically a double decker acai bowl. Acai on the bottom with selected toppings then more acai resting under another layer of the selected toppings. It's definitely worth it to get the mega bowl. They also make good smoothies and use compostable materials. Our orders have been accurate and filling. Plus the employees are friendly. Issues with the online ordering: -I couldn't adjust the pick-up time. Even though they were open for another 5 hours, the only option for pick up was next day at 9:30 am. I called after placing the order and they said they could make the order right away. -large perfect bowl is not an option (all other sizes were available) -special bowl options are confusing. No option for granola but there is an option for extra granola. No description for what it contains yet you can remove items. -many of the items do not have descriptions, luckily I had been here before so I knew what the perfect bowl entailed

It can transform an ordinary drink into something special. It makes the magic of coffee last throughout the entire day. I was immediately welcomed when I walked into the Outer Bean. Initially, I was bummed because cortados were not on the menu. I asked the barista if she would try to make one. She said sure. I gave her general directions and she walked to the espresso machine. A couple of minutes later she handed me a cup with two shots of espresso and a stainless steel pitcher with steamed milk. The barista said, "Why don't you add the milk in so you get it just the way you want." I thought this was a thoughtful gesture. I thanked her and made my cortado. We chatted a bit. It turned out she is Thai and my husband is Thai; and I love to talk about Thailand. I took a few pictures. We exchanged goodbyes and I exited the cafe with a genuine smile and a very positive impression of the Outer Bean. Smiles are free and they can elevate and/or improve any situation. Plus, folks always look better when they smile. I hope you make this world a better place by sharing your smile with someone today. Thank you to the barista at Outer Bean who shared her smile and made my day brighter. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

It got the job done as I enjoy one cup a day and was a bit behind schedule. The place is small, but perfect for a coffee shop where take out is mostly occurring.

Barrier Island Bagels offers a variety of bagel sandwich options, build your own bagels with different spreads, and there are cocktails available, too! Fancy! One was sweet and the other savory. There were several customers picking up orders and the counter stayed busy with walk-ins, too. This is definitely a popular, fun, and cozy option for locals and tourists alike.
