Great potential, just lacked execution. We went in for smoothies and only two of us ordered smoothies. Both were disappointed in how they tasted, pretty bland. As far as the açaí bowls, despite the açaí base being a little runny, they tasted great and worth going back for! The peach açaí bowl was our daughter's favorite! This was a cute local smoothie place nearby that we stopped by multiple times during our trip. The first time we came here, I tried the Blueberry Bliss (almond milk, blueberries, banana, vanilla whey, vanilla yogurt, and almond butter) with added spinach, and it was delicious. After that, I kept trying other smoothies like the Island Smoothie Power Up and The Green Room, but they were all flavorless -- almost as if they had been made with unripe fruit. The consistency was also really icy and not creamy at all, even though there was a banana in it. This place is a family vacation favorite! We love their acai bowls and smoothies. If you grab a coupon book from Tim Buck II plaza, you can get a free cold brew with a purchase of an acai bowl. The bowls are refreshing with lots of fresh fruits and they can make substitutions. I think the price is a bit high for the bowls given the portion size, but these things are always expensive. It's a good cool summertime treat. There's a few tables of seating inside and a cute bench and neon sign outside to sit and take pictures. Popped in for a brunch treat. We ordered açaí bowls. The ordering was easy and staff was friendly and wearing masks. They can make adjustments to their bowls if you want to switch out peanut butter for almond butter for example. Their menu will list the ingredients as açaí base which means it has almond milk, açaí, strawberries, agave, and banana (I asked). So it is gluten and dairy free. I had to give this place 5 stars for awesome service and awesome green smoothies! Upon our arrival into OBX, we stopped here while waiting to check-in to our rental. There are so many choices, it is hard to make a selection! But one of the wonders suggested a green smoothie, which I love and I got that with some added ginger. It was really good. The portion was substantial for the price. I pay almost the same price for half the size product in my area. We had to return a second time after visiting the Corolla Adventure Park (also great) and this time I tried a different green smoothie, I believe it was called Power Up. I loved it - swap out the kale for spinach, you'll love it too. No doubt I will return at least once more before leaving the OBX. Staff is great and very nice, great to talk to! read more

This place is great spot to stop in right after a run along the path across the street! When we first got there, a couple other groups walked in as well so we had to wait a bit but you can tell they take pride in the appearance of bowl so I had no issue with a little wait! The whole group got acai bowls and they were absolutely delicious; even accommodated to taking out and adding in ingredients. My only issue was that we went the same day as the cashiers being trained, so ordering was a little difficult, as they didn't exactly know how to work the register.
