this place is SOOO cute makes me feel like I'm back in Korea!! I love the decor so much and makes me so happy The wings were really good we got the 8 piece bone in sweet and 8 spicy I can't wait to go back and try other things

Review only for the kimbap. I was craving some kimbap and found Noori which offers many options. The Pork kimbap was flavorful and clearly freshly made. It came dressed with sauce and generous amount of stuffing. Interior has a fast casual vibe. Service at the counter and the kitchen was fast. They have a ramen station in the back that looks self service which I haven't seen in other restaurants in Chicago yet.

I have had this place bookmarked for a while and finally got to try it recently. It's a cute spot and we really enjoyed our meal there. We got the magic powder (cheese powder) and soy garlic Korean fried chicken wings - my favorite was the magic powder (I love a dry cheese flavor), but my boyfriend liked the soy garlic (yummy and you can definitely taste the garlic). He wants to come back and try their chicken sandwich. I actually loved the kimbap there - that's what I would go back for, their classic (or something like that I forgot the exact name) was so good. Love kimbap. We also got a mango drink and that was sweet but if you like sweet, you'll probably enjoy (but a skip for next time for me).

I ordered at Noori via Relish whwre we order in the app and it gets delivered to our workplace. I ordered boneless chicken wings and was really disappointed that it's really chicken tenders, it was breadt meat not wings. The kimbap was delicious, rice waa fresh and cooked to perfection and veges were crispy fresh.

Great no frills place for some fantastic Korean fried chicken! The place is small and the menu is simple but they knock it put of the park with the fried chicken, and the other dishes are also all well made. We got an order of the chicken with half soy garlic and half supreme (it's like a sweet savory spicy mix), which came out super crispy and perfectly sauced. The rose toppoki was super rich, creamy and satisfying, and our kimbap was also big with a nice proportion of rice to veggies to protein which all tasted freshly made. Looks like this place is a sort of regional chain, and I'm glad it opened in Chicago where the next best option is Bonchon, which this place is a whole step above!

KFC- Korean Fried Chicken near the Belmont redline. The atmosphere inside is trendy Gangnam street food. There's a variety of seating inside on stools. While you can order other food than fried chicken, I've ordered here twice and was pretty happy not deviating. This place can get very busy on Friday nights. I ordered for pick up ahead of time and had to wait an extra 20min for food. Overall the quality is there, weekdays don't have the timing issue. Chicken is crispy while saucy and there's a variety of flavor and spice options. Packaging is also quite nice, no spillage!

Ambiance - super cute restaurant, they even had a mini make your own ramen station Service - minimal staff, order at the counter when you walk in, self serve utensils/water/napkin, pick your own table Food - chicken wings were huge, juicy, and super crispy kimbap size was big, ingredients were fresh

got the combo with fries, soy garlic chicken, and dumplings and thought it was decent! fries were definitely the highlight - crunchy and flavorful. chicken a little dry. teokbokki was just ok. the chairs are definitely... interesting. a little uncomfortable to sit in after a while. our water cups took a while to get refilled and even then one of the cups only got refilled halfway up.

This place has a lot of great food options. They also have a ramen station that we didn't try out. We mainly came here for a few snacks. The bulgogi kimbap was very good. I also really enjoyed the soy garlic dumplings. They were very flavorful and I like the addition of japchae inside. I would definitely come back here to try their chicken and other menu items.

Delivery of rose tteokbokki was still piping hot after a 20min drive. Great portion for the value, and the tteokbokki was very chewy with a rich, creamy sauce. Not really spicy, and comes with half an egg, 2 fried mandu, and fish cakes. The fried mandu skin was a bit tougher to chew, which may also be a result of the drive, but filling was savory and not too dry. Definitely one of the better rose tteokbeokkis I've had!

The first time we heard of Noori we decided to Uber Eats their boneless wings and they weren't bad, but lost the crisp (unfortunate) because they were covered in sauce (fortunate). About a month later we were in the area and decided to give it another try. The restaurant is cute with Korean scenery painted on the walls. There are plenty of tables, but they are low to the ground and not the comfiest per se. The staff is friendly and attentive so that was a plus. I ordered their Noori Signature Combo, which comes with 4 wings, 3 dumplings, fries, pickled radish, and a drink. For the sauce, I went with Soy Garlic and Chili Soy. I personally didn't find the sauce spicy, but it was a nice heat. The wings were pretty big, crispy and juicy. The dumplings on the other hand were pretty dry and I didn't really taste and flavor.

Soy and secret sauce wings. Huge. Meaty. Sooo good.

This place is the real deal. I'm SO excited a store like this exists (finally!!) in Chicago proper. It's so much better than the other Korean fast food places and tastes super authentic. Food: 5/5 We got two flavors of chicken, the kimbap burrito, and the kimbap. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and not overwhelming. They were huge pieces of chicken and was worth the value. The pickled radishes it came with were really good as well. The kimbap burrito was the star for me. It's a bit messy to eat having the rice on the outside but man oh man is it good. It was SO filling and packed. The kimbap was surprisingly good. The bulgogi flavor was on point. And the fillings were good. A bit pricey as I would like to see simpler kimbap at a lower price point maybe. Ambiance: 5/5 This place looks like it's out of a kdrama. It's super cute and makes me miss Korea! Service: 5/5 The owner is a sweet lady and the server was very nice. Nothing to write about here I'll definitely be back!

    The vibe is amazing

Came here late one night I felt bad but they gave us amazing service and the food was great spicy was a good heat, mozzarella stick and the pot stickers were amazing and the tempura shrimp burrito was huge and tasted awesome

We had the Cloud 9 and Honey I strung the figs, both were quite unique and very good, surprisingly. What bugged me most was that the whole restaurant seemed to have only one waiter who takes orders. He was quite friendly and detailed in explaining.each and everything. But, that was exactly the problem. The waiter spent so much time on each table upfront. I got way impatient after a while waiting for him to come back to check on us. If we would have known better, we should have ordered and requested everything upfront. We did not expect him to have forgotten (or ignored) us for that long of time. In addition, I would have thought that the food, cooked and uncooked, would at least come out one after the other, at a steady pace. Well ok, they did come at a pace, but a very slow pace, very non-continuing. E.g the rice came out only when almost all meat was gone. So we never warmed up to the mood of having a satisfying meal as we have minimal on the table at any time to work on. Not quite satisfying as a dining meal experience. However, and however, If you want to come and take your time to chat and chat for the whole night, it might be the place. Have fun and enjoy your time with minimal interruption. No rush at all! I usually prefer good food first and then reasonably attentive service. So. I'd have to pass on this place. There are other better Korean fare for food out there.

Many items are kept outside the kitchen area, almost as if they belong inside, giving the place a cluttered, no-frills atmosphere. As for the food, the soup is decent but nothing particularly memorable. However, the radish and kimchi stand out--they taste genuinely house-made and are easily the best part of the meal. Overall, this place is more about authenticity than comfort or presentation. If you value traditional Korean flavors and don't mind a rough, utilitarian setting, it may be worth a visit.

For starters, we ordered the kimchi pork dumplings and grilled octopus, which both tasted great, but the kimchi flavoring did overpower everything. However, my experience at Perilla Steakhouse was hands down frustrating. Upon arrival, things were off to a rough start when I could barely hear the server over the music. At times, I felt like our server was rushing us through our meal based on how much less attention he gave us versus the other tables. I'm not someone who needs my glass refilled every minute either to be clear, but things did feel off with how slow our meal was paced out and the general disinterest the server had in us. For reference, we arrived early to a nearly empty restaurant that hadn't started peak dining time yet. I recognize the steakhouse is an upscale, chic take on traditional Korean dishes and I admire the chef for sharing his culture with the city. I also understand restaurants are going to be more expensive, the closer you are located in relation to downtown. Even so, in comparison to other nearby high-end restaurants, the price to portion ratio for our meal felt off. For example, our $16 dumplings included 3 dumplings on a plate. Yes, there's an argument for inflation and the cost of quality ingredients, but I argue that at this price point we shouldn't have left hungry either.

They said it's basically a Korean restaurant with not much Korean food on the menu, but is really good. That immediately sparked my curiosity. I said let's go, it sounds interesting. Not to fear, as the greeter-seater got us three stools at the bar, which by the way, were the best seats in the house. Parachutes menu was all over the place but my son particularly pointed out their hamburger, and I (then) knew why: Living in Los Angeles for a k-billion years, my favorite hamburger was at a restaurant called My Father's Office, owned by Sang Yoon, a Korean chef. His off-beat burgers were sensational! The burger here at Parachute were equally off-beat, so I immediately ordered it. Damn, was it delicious! There were so many things going on here that my head was buzzing, trying to put all these flavors together? And yes, their burger rivaled Chef Yoons burger in L.A.! The burger came cut in two with each side resting in mayo and BBQ sauce. Wow, was it bizarre, offbeat, unique, atypical and the adjectives keep on going; but the adverb used on the burger was - MESSY, and I loved it. I didn't need napkins to stay clean, I needed a beach towel. The fries I ordered were fantastic along with their banana based ketchup which again was strangely weird but excellent. My OB Korean beer paired perfectly with my "Perfect Storm" hamburger. My son and his fiancee went with a salad and Pad Thai Noodles with shrimp which was equally as delicious as my meal.
