Once in a blue moon I will have a craving to get the Pesto Cavatappi with gluten free noodles from here. I kid you not that is the only dish I order here I love it so so much. My recent visit I saw no issues with customer service I thought the cashier was friendly and approachable. I thought the restaurant was clean and I appreciated the free wifi with my meal. I was disappointed when my beloved Pesto Cavatappi arrived and it tasted like I was eating green plain noodles. I was starving and pressed for times so I ate it, but maybe I shouldn't have. Very friendly staff and good food when you feel like comfort food. The food was hot and steamy and the flavors were strong. They confirmed my order verbally and somehow had added a chicken parm onto my order as well. I confirmed with them that I had only ordered the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese not the chicken parm. And then I get home and take out my order and it's buffalo Mac and cheese... there's no chicken?! Solid place. I mostly get delivery, probably 1x/month so not sure why this is my first review!!! I love that they have a small and regular sizes depending on how hungry I am. Hadn't ever been to this Noodles location and hadn't gone to Noodles in a long time but just felt like steak stroganoff today for dinner. Ordered and paid online, selected curbside, drove over shortly after ordering, pulled up at the curb and the staff member checked my name and brought out my food. It was simply, easy and perfect. Would have loved to have tipped the staff member, but because I paid online I wasn't given the option of tipping. Anyway, great food, easy ordering, easy pickup and great all around. Ordered the zoodles zucchini roasted garlic cream with chicken. Bora Boring! Container filled with watery residue-definitely got no garlic cream sauce vibe! Bits of 'rock' from spinach leaves which means they aren't being double or triple rinsed as all fresh spinach should be! I love zucchini but this was soooo bland! I was in desperate search for fast food that didn't taste like fast food, that's when I remembered Noodles and Company. Having been to other locations a handful of times I felt the variety was nice and the food was okay, but an overpriced product. Their menu is nicely mounted along the line and at the register, so you can easily see what your options are. It also displays the calories which is nice if you're watching what you eat. I ordered the Penne Rosa with Parmesan cheese and Tofu. I'm glad I paid the $2.30 for the tofu otherwise this would not have been filling. I only waited about 5min and stood in line for less than 2 minutes, even though the line was near the door when I walked in! The place is clean and they seem to be efficient in what they do. My order was to go, so I was happy to find it was well packaged. The first thing I noticed is the penne rosa looked much better than when I've ordered the same at any other Noodles and Company. Everything was there including basil and a satisfying amount of tofu. The sauce was in good proportion to the pasta, only thing was the slightly meager amount of Parmesan. I still think their food is overpriced, but next time I'll use their call ahead option to save some time on the wait. read more

Spicy Korean Beef Noodles: Good, very spicy and exciting sauce. Lots of good texture in this bowl and variety coming from the beef, sprouts and cabbage (Small 450 Cal). Pot Stickers: Free when you fill out the survey! Tasty and light and the sauce is amazing. Alfredo MontAmore: Pasta and sauce is pretty flavorless on its own but is enhanced by the flavor coming from the thin breaded chicken. The Alfredo sauce is really lacking for example if I didn't know it was Alfredo sauce I might have had no idea. I like that it contains spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. The chicken is a little spicy just an FYI (Small 790 Cal). Chicken Varacruz Salad: Good ingredients but just flavorless dressing. I think I would enjoy this if I bring my own dressing next time. One of the biggest Noodles & Company restaurants in northern VA. I've been waiting for this one to open for weeks now. Finally had the privilege to get lunch here this week with a few of my colleagues. The place is frakkin huge! It took over the Chicken Out that use to be in Plaza America. The food is the same as all the other Noodles & Company but the extra seating does make it a lot more comfortable. Sadly, there is still only one soda/drink machine. So you'll have to wait in line to get your drink. It has one of those new future/modern soda machines with the touch screens and like 50 flavors of soda to choose from. Anywho, figured I'd add the new business since I tried to check in here twice already this week and it couldn't be found. If you like noodles. You'll like this place. It's a decent price. I recommend adding an extra side salad or side soup for $1. The chicken noodle side soup is well worth $1. :) Enjoy! read more

I usually don't review franchises or don't rate customer service that often. But today was a bit frustrating especially since this is the first time I've had problems at a noodles & co. Today I used the the online ordering system to save myself time. Unfortunately that didn't happen. I waited an additional 15 mins... My order was placed around 12:00 or so to ensure I would just be able to pickup and go. Instead at 2:03 I walked over to get my lunch only to find out it wasn't made yet because my online request confused them. Since the noodles I requested didn't normally come in the dish.(Which is kind of why I requested it to begin with) I requested cavatappi instead of the spaghetti noodles. Note: I wrote extra cavatappi in special instructions. Yet they waited until I arrived at 2:03 to ask me what I meant? When my phone number was already attached to the order? Then I had to wait for the cashier to ring me up but she had trouble opening a register. Lucky for me I had a coupon which gave me a free bowl of noodles/salad/soup any size no restrictions(I read the fine print) yet I was still charged +1.00 extra for more noodles. I paid but I still think that it's ridiculous to have a coupon from corporate that says free bowl and I still pay additional? Where does it say no customizations? Overall..probably one of the worst experiences at a noodles & co that I've ever had. Which really disappoints me because I have no intention of returning to this location. read more

I *love* Noodles & Company!!! The staff at this location are so kind and brighten my day. I tried the LEANguini Lemon Parmesan with Grilled Shrimp and it was fantastic! The food is freshly made, full of healthy veggies, and came with a generous portion of big, juicy grilled shrimp! The Lemon Parmesan flavor combo is delish, and I am glad the linguini was high in protein and lower in carbs. Also thank you for my birthday Rice Krispies Treat. 3.5 stars. I haven't been to a Noodles and Co since I was in college (it's been a while) and I wasn't particularly impressed back then, so I expected today's visit to be very ho-hum. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Both the quality of food and the ease of ordering has changed drastically for the better since I last ate there. I have to give them props; I liked that the calorie counts are explicitly on their menu, they also indicate their meats are antibiotic free, and they have my favorite brand of tea (Honest Tea). The hot pot is currently their specialty dish (it's comparable to Pho) and it was very good. I got that and a side salad, that was unfortunately overdressed for my taste, but was impressed with the smorgasbord of choices on the menu. Who knew, it's not JUST pasta. They also feature Dreaming Tree wine and Flying Dog beer if you are there not during a break from lunch. The staff here was very nice, the ordering process is painless, and food came out swiftly and efficiently. Good job N&C, now that I know all the things, I will be back. read more

I ordered the stroganoff pasta, which tends to be my go to here.Ordering my food to go wasn't a big problem. My only concern is how oily the food was. As I scarfed my food down at my office desk, there was a puddle of oil at the bottom of the container. I took a napkin and it soaked with the grease. Oh well. Tasty tasty grease. read more

Great noodles, lovely sauce, made any way you want it. A surprise visit. I had to stop at the nearby Staples across the parking lot. I was hungry and had just finished praying about lunch. I had noticed Noodles & Company on the way into Staples. A quick check on Yelp sealed the deal. In I went. Most of the dishes looked like they were light on protein, and I didn't have a clue which base dish to start with. So I asked the cashier for guidance. "I'd like noodles with veggies and chicken..." The cashier, a young man, asked a couple of questions. "Yes, I love udon..." A quick dialog. So I got the Japanese Pan Fried udon noodles and grilled chicken...and it was delightful. The noodles had a great chew to them - lovely texture. Braised just right. Stir fried with some (but not many) veggies. Noodles are the feature of this dish, and they really shined. I'll ask for more veggies next time. The sauce is very flavorful but I would have been happier with a bit more of that too. I used a little of the ersatz sriracha (not Hoy Fong) they provide. In droplets here and there. It's not an overly spicy dish to start with. The grilled chicken was nice too. Not dried out with a good sear. The fresh mushrooms were a nice surprise. In many cases this is not just a personal choice but a security issue - it's not always possible to pull out a credit card and read the details in public. Additionally, the point of calling in advance is to avoid wasting time sitting in a dirty establishment. It's the prerogative of the customer whether or not they pay in advance or on receipt of goods. During the current climate businesses should be as a comparing as possible, especially for customers who are willing to come to them, pick up their meals, and pay without cash. Sure, it's a chain, but in that context/vacuum, Noodles & Co is a shining star in the dim galaxy of chain eateries. But why, oh Yelp foodie, why? Well, sometimes you just need something that's quick, simple, cheap, predictable, and with easy-to-find nutrition/allergen info, and you're with folks who aren't as adventurous as you. Noodles definitely has the fast-casual concept down pat, and in spite of the horrendous parking situation that plagues the Plaza America shopping center, the interior of the Noodles itself is spacious, well laid-out, clean, and staffed by articulate and intelligent employees (I actually prefer this Noodles to the one at Clock Tower in Herndon). When I'm craving a little something spicy and/or a little something healthy, and the hubby is craving something a bit more indulgent/carb-y and is in the mood for their out-of-this-world Rice Krispy treats, we head to Noodles. The nice thing, too, about dining in there in the evening hours (as opposed to lunch) is that it's pretty empty, as the office crowd has obviously gone home for the night. You'll have the place to yourself, with unoffensive ambient music, and piping hot and fresh food delivered right to your table after you place your order at the counter. Note that you can opt for a small size or a regular size for most of their entree items and salads, and you can also add a house salad or soup to most any item for only a dollar or two more. They sell bottled drinks, beer, and teas, and also serve fountain drinks from one of those Coca Cola Freestyle machines. Sriracha sauce, hot pepper flakes, spice power, and soy sauce are also self-serve, as are chop sticks and forks. Note that if you're averse to certain ingredients other than the biggest offenders such as wheat/gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, etc., that it may be tough to obtain an actual ingredients list. Although the website and the restaurant offer a list of the common allergens and nutrition information for each of their items, I still haven't been able to obtain an actual ingredients list for their sauces, soups, etc. read more

Nice to have another option in Plaza America. The service here was relatively fast during lunch, and the menu is the same as any noodles with various noodle based dishes as the main attraction (duh), soup, salad and sandwiches as well. Seating can get sparse during lunch, but just keep your eye out, and you'll score a spot when someone leaves. For gluten free, I had them make the penne rosa with the rice noodles and it turned out pretty good. It was no original from the glutenful days, but I liked it. I kind of laughed thinking why in the world did I get pad thai when there are Thai restaurants who do the real thing and add real veggies inside. Stopped by here for lunch since it's close to my work and my coworkers said it was very good. I got the buffalo Mac n cheese and a side of cucumber and tomato salad. The buffalo Mac n cheese was awful. Completely flavorless and barely any cheese on it. The chicken was dry and overlooked. Even with the buffalo sauce which was pretty bad, the whole thing needed some serious seasoning. I would not recommend this dish at all! The tomato cucumber salad was minuscule and more raw onions than anything else. It was not good. This meal was not worth the $10.32 I paid for, not one bit. I make better Mac n cheese from a box at home! With this being my first visit here, I am not impressed and think I'll bring my money else where. The staff was less than friendly too. read more

This Noodles is located in the same shopping center as my job so its very convenient to take a walk here on my lunch break. I usually place an online order since lunch is a bit crazy here and they always get my order right. My favorite is the spicy chicken caesar wrap, they pack on the spicy sauce. Now I'm a sauce person so I'm loving it and don't find it overbearing at all. Now on the other hand, my other favorite dish, Penne Rosa, the noodles are very dry. I HAVE to ask for more sauce, which is great that they give you a cup full. Besides that the food here is pretty good compared some other Noodle and Company places I've been to. Everyone here is friendly and the service is great, never had a problem. My department orders from here about once a month for lunch and they are prompt and the orders are always right. read more

Ahh Noodles & Co. I will miss you so. The wife and I recently started on low carb/low sugar diets, which basically means we'll have to forgo trips here for the foreseeable future. But before we started the diet, we had to get the carb-cravings out of our system, and Noodles was one of our last hurrahs! We stopped in near closing time but were still greeted happily and the food was as consistent as it always is at Noodles. I opted for the steak stroganoff - one of my goto options - although their plain buttered noodles (add steak of course!) are also fantastic. My wife ordered the seasonal truffle mac option - and I probably would have too if I had seen it offered - but she let me try and it was really good, but I had no regrets about my choice. Also, this location has one of those cool Coke fountains where you can mix flavors into a bazillion options. Diet Peach Fanta - YES PLEASE! Too bad I won't be coming here for a while, but Noodles is a great quick casual chain with strong quality food, and a great option in Plaza America. read more
