I went to Noodle Wave for lunch with a group of coworkers. The food looked good and I liked Asian food so I had high expectations. The reviews on yelp were ok so I didn't want to get too excited When we arrived we had a large party but only a few people were there. That wasn't a problem. They were flexible and seated us and we ordered before the others arrived. I decided to order with two other coworkers and share. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice and the Fresh Crabmeat Fried Rice. They started off by bringing us a tasty wonton soup with tofu and topped with crispy fried wontons. The Crabmeat Fried Rice was ok. The Basil Fried Rice was spicy and absolutely delicious. I loved it and would definitely recommend it. I added a little spice but couldn't stop eating it. Many other coworkers got this dish and all enjoyed it. The check at the end was an issue because they could only accept a certain amount of payments from a large table. I will come back to Noodle Wave for the Basil Fried Rice! read more

Minus two stars for service, food is amazing. Waited almost 15 mins for someone to come to our table once seated, this is a small restaurant. My partner had to flag someone down to help us, we ordered immediately, food was out promptly which was great. Not once did anyone come to check, we had to get up to ask for water at the bar area. I took take out. The salmon entree which lacked seasoning came with three different temperatures on the rice, veggies and salmon all in one container. The soup had an over powering flavor which I could not quite describe but with a sweet taste and the soft shell crab was not cleaned before frying it which lacked seasoning. I've been here more than 5 times at least since it's close to work and sometimes I was really happy with food and service but there were also times when I felt the food was bland and service was extremely slow. I always get the Vietnamese soup here. It's got Thai chili in here so it has good hint of spice. It's a unique dish that you can only get at Noodle Wave. Again, the last time I went, the soup was a bit bland but the visit before that, I was very happy with the flavor so I never know what to expect, lol. I placed a pickup order on UberEats and arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes later (it advised my order would take 25 min). I arrived at the restaurant and the guy working the front desk advised they were only waiting on one more dish to be complete. I continued to wait patiently as I watched 10 orders be brought to the front. I checked in with the guy at the front desk twice over the span of 30 minutes and he told me they were still working on the order, which was unbelievable. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked the guy to bring my order or cancel. Then a manager came to speak to me advising a "door dasher" already picked my order up. I told him the order was placed on Uber eats for pickup so nobody would have asked for the order but me. He says "we can remake it now, but the order was made and someone took it." It was unacceptable and simply untrue. I looked at every name on each to go order that was brought to the front and my order was never completed. Driving 20 minutes to pick up food, waiting 45 minutes and leaving empty handed to drive 20 minutes back home deserved more than a sorry. I won't be back. read more

We were looking for a good Thai Coffee and we were recommended by Varchith with Dream Tacos (this will be another review, another time ) to get our coffees there. We drove over and the host said they had sold out. We left and thought, "This is just not going to be the night we get our coffee." We were back in the car planning our next stop, when the host knocked on the driver's-side window. He handed us one Thai Coffee and said, "I went back and we had enough for one coffee so here it is." My first visit to Noodle Wave! We arrived on Friday night and put my name on the waiting list. After a 15-minute wait, we were seated at a nice clean table. The menu is excellent, with many options for dinner. I like how you can select how spicy you want your dish. I got the Kung Pao Chicken with level 3 spicy, above medium, and just right for me. Our party of 4 came right at 5:00 in a Friday, and the place filled quickly. Now I am no expert on Thai cuisine, but I know when food is delicious!!!! Our server seemed distracted and was, unfortunately, not very friendly. We started with the veggie curry puffs, and they were awesome! Best part of the meal, easily. They were hot, crispy, flaky, and the potato and veggie mixture on the inside was full of spice and flavor. I would almost come back just for those! I got the singapore noodles, which were just ok. The noodles were overdone so they were gummy and soft, but the flavor was good. My husband got a yellow curry, which was also just ok. Not bad, not great. We wanted some dessert so we got a custard and some sticky rice with ice cream on top. The desserts were both very good, so it was nice to start and end the meal well. So after I finished, they brought out my entree, which was loaded. They added chopped egg and served with lime. I've never had it with those ingredients, usually only broccoli, and theirs had no regular broccoli at all...but deliciously fresh Chinese broccoli. It was very good and flavorful, not as spicy...I got level 3 on the 5 scale and it was hardly noticeable. The steak was very tender and bursting with flavor. It changes on a daily basis which is great because I was able to try some other menu items that I would never get like the basil chicken which is now one of my favorite dishes here!
