I'm officially done with this location. I picked up my order today to save a little money, and the bag was tied shut so I wasn't able to confirm it was all there. Got home and, of course, one of the kids' entrees was missing. I did get a refund over the phone, but still had to scramble to come up with dinner for them. On top of that, the yellow curry and curry fried rice were completely flavorless, and the potatoes were basically raw. Just disappointing all around.

Pineapple Cashew Fried Rice

I think this is most insipid thai food I have eaten. We ordered Yellow Curry Fried Rice with tofu and pineapple Cashew fried Rice with Chicken spice level 4 for take out. Both the fried rice's had zero flavor or spice. Rice was overcooked, chicken lacked flavor. I am not going back again!

Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai

Let's just dig right into the food: Papaya Salad - extremely disappointing as it was mostly iceberg lettuce Vegetable Delight - decent spice level and the dish was overall good enough Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai - too sweet and not nearly spicy enough Kao Soi Chicken - the curry had a nice zing Spicy Thai Fish - the best dish on the table

Massaman Curry w/ Chicken

I've been ordering takeout from this location for years. The food has always been hot, fresh, and delicious. For some reason I can't figure out, they are always very, very tight on the steamed white rice. I always have to order a second side of rice, just to get a decent serving. Besides that, I have never had any issues here. Over the years, we have tried a variety of menu items, but my family's go-to are always the curries. I absolutely love the Green Curry with veggies, my daughter prefers the Yellow Curry with chicken, and my spouse loves the Massaman Curry with chicken.   If you prefer to eat in, they do have a quaint little dining room. If you just want some take out, its best to call ahead to place your order since wait times can be upwards of 30 minutes, and longer on weekends. They are closed on Sunday's, but don't worry, their Main Street location is open on Sunday's if you don't mind driving a little further.   Highly recommended!

This spot in Frisco always has solid Thai food, whether you are going for a pad Thai, a curry, or just some apps, you won't leave disappointed. I appreciate that all their staff, including the ones cooking in the back, were all wearing masks and gloves. The staff taking orders and payments at the front had a jar for sanitizer pens, and another for dirty pens. They have created a lot of space between where you order, and where they stand. Also, they have signs on the door stating to wear a mask and other precautions. The staff is here is always courteous and super polite, I've been here several times and have also ordered some friends food from here. It's a great local spot that serves great food and great service!

Best Thai restaurant! I've just moved to the area and it's been my 5th time eating at Simply Thai. This restaurant never disappoints me. Everything on the menu is very good. The only Thai restaurant that has pumpkin curry on their menu as well as fish options. I ordered the red curry, pumpkin curry, pad se ew , tum yum soup, crab avocado egg rolls, crispy chicken spring rolls , the new item honey sriracha chicken today and all I can say is WOW! It's so so good. Very flavorful and authentic Thai food. All the staff are very friendly and super sweet. This is my to go Thai restaurant whenever I'm craving for Thai. HIGHY RECOMMEND SIMPLY THAI!!

This is the best Thai food that I've had hands-down between Dallas, Minnesota and New York. They do not disappoint.

A Houstonian's Take on a Frisco Thai Gem…read more Visiting Frisco from Houston and decided to give this local spot a try, and we're so glad we did! The location was close to the universal theme kid resort, and the menu felt like it was a Thai Vietnamese fusion place. We started with the Vietnamese spring rolls, and they were some of the best we've ever had. The rolls were incredibly fresh, and the peanut sauce was flavorful. I'm not even a peanut sauce fan (in general) but I really liked this one. Our kids ate up all the chicken satay (or as they call it "stick chicken". For our entrée, my wife and I had the chicken green curry, and it was Delicious with just the right balance of spice and richness. The service was friendly.. While the staff did delay in refilling the water cups, the staff was pleasant, and the overall service met our expectations. If you're in the Frisco area and looking for flavorful Thai food we highly recommend giving this place a try. We'd definitely come back the next time we're in town!

We went on a weekday for dinner and right away the menu already had a lot of good authentic food. We got the authentic Lao food and it hit like my mom's cooking. The service was 5 stars and the owners were nice enough to come by and ask us how the food was. I would say hole in the wall place that hits but this is far from a home in the wall. There's a full bar also, I will be back as a regular customer.

The Pad Thai was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced, while the Pad See Ew had that rich, savory taste with noodles cooked just right. I ordered everything at the highest spice level, and I was honestly impressed that the heat never overpowered the food. It still had tons of flavor behind the spice, which is something a lot of places struggle to pull off. The dim sum was another standout. It was fresh, flavorful, and paired with a house-made dipping sauce that was absolutely incredible. That sauce alone is worth coming back for. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal instead of feeling rushed. On top of that, the customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions or make recommendations, which made the experience even better. Between the flavorful food, authentic spice, great atmosphere, and outstanding service, this place easily earns a 10/10 from me. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu. The entire restaurant vibe was amazing, beautifully designed, clean, waitress was friendly, and took my shellfish allergy seriously. Since it was our first trip we ordered our food "mild", which was flavorful and incredibly delicious. Next time, I'll raise my spice level up to medium. If you're new to Thai food OR to this restaurant, I always recommend starting mild and working your way up. Every place is different. The pad Thai & house fried rice were simply amazing. So much flavor depth! Also, PLEASE do yourself a favor and order the Thai crispy spring rolls. I could eat a dozen of these by myself! And the sauce that's served with the spring rolls?! So good. We were planning our next visit before we even walked out the door! lol! We'll be back soon! Thanks Thai Spice for an incredible experience & amazing food!

It's really clean and well set up when you first walk in. It was so hot inside, my legs stuck to the seat of the vinyl booth. Ugh. Service is slow, but the food comes out fast. I had to call out for refills on water. No ice. I prefer my water cold. Room temperature water is not my thing. I'm guessing I'm missing something. My soup was fresh and the broth was delicious! It was a spice level of 5. I like my food spicy. This was off the charts! My friends had a hard time eating their food. It was supposed to be level 2 spice, instead it was level 5 like mine. It was not enjoyable for them. Theirs went in a to go box. Then to the trash when they got home. I ate all my soup, no togo box for me. I paid the price for 3 days after eating here. OMG! Your tummy will be dying. Be safe. Don't eat level 5 at a new restaurant. You would think I'd learned that by now. We all have stupid moments. Mine was epic! It's supposed to be vegan and gluten free which is a big plus for those that require that as their diet. Less sugar items is a plus too! Way to go green. For me, because I messed up, I'll start at a lower spice level if I return. There were 4 people in our party. Got the feeling this place will be out of business before I even think of returning. I hope I'm wrong and wish them luck! June 2024

My wife and I went for lunch today around 1pm for our first visit…read more Atmosphere: nice, quiet for Saturday at 1pm, we were a second table. Then two to four tables occupied during our visit. Food: We ordered large tom yum shrimp soup to share, Sakhuu white pad Thai with beef and pad kee mao with tofu. Spice level 3 for all. Order of food received at the table: pad kee Mao, tom yum soup then pad thai Wife ranked the tom yum to be the best so far that we have tried in the Dallas area. We didn't enjoy it as much as pad kee mao. We should have tried the traditional Pad Thai. We wouldn't order the Sakhuu white pad Thai again. Service: this is where we were disappointed. Started off good by getting seated, received glass of water with lemon slice without ice. Order was taken and as the food was served and dropped off there was no follow up to ask how the food was. Not even once. We had to ask another employee for our check only to see 18% gratuity included in the check. I expect automatic inclusion of gratuity for larger groups and don't have any problem with even higher percentage gratuity, but not for a two top with a sub par service. Very disappointed. Although food was above average, the lack of service received and automatic inclusion of 18% gratuity just left a very bad experience for us. We won't be back...atleast not this location.

We went with the Tom Kha soup and papaya salad as starters and pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao as entrees. First, I'll kick off the review with a note about spice levels, when they say 1-5 this is not a time to be cute. 2 is plenty spicy for most consumers. The Tom Kha soup was honestly the best soup I've ever had! Not just best Thai soup, but best soup in general. I highly recommend it. Excellent flavors dance on the tongue with every taste. The papaya salad was okay, but had us googling and referring to Yelp reviews to see if it actually had Papaya included. It's a white variation of the fruit, so yes, it is incorporated within the salad. It's okay but wasn't the highlight of the night. The pad Thai is exceptional once you mix the peanuts in throughout. That provides the perfect blend of flavors. The Pad Kee Mao was delicious. Excellently seasoned and tasty. Again, here is where I go to the spice levels. I am someone who loves spicy foods, but at level 3 I found myself at the edge of what I would like. That said, it was a delicious dish.
