Hand pulled noodles are my new thing so Noodle Me has been on my to-try list. We started with seaweed salad and a chili potato salad. I preferred the seaweed, which was pretty delicious actually. We also ordered the beef brisket noodle soup, a stir fry noodle dish with pork, and buns. The soup was delicious - great flavor, noodles were amazing as expected. The brisket was tasty but difficult to eat because you had to chew for a long long time, long enough to swallow, if that makes sense. I just let my husband eat all of the beef after my one bite. The pork dish was good too but the flavors didn't wow me. Maybe I should have ordered something spicier - although adding the chili spice helped a lot. The soup buns (5 buns/order) were amazing - super hot (temperature wise) and very tasty. We were almost too full to finish them. All ingredients seemed super fresh. Always cool to see the noodles being made - just be prepared for loud noises, especially if you have your back turned away from the counter. I guess other hand pulled noodle places I've been to there's some sort of separation or glassed in area to see them being pulled, but when the dough gets slammed onto the counter it's quite loud. I would bet each batch has at least 3 slams? I'm sure it's to get the air pockets out and is necessary - I just wonder if there's a sound barrier type option or maybe some funny sign warning or heads up from the waitstaff? What a smart marketing catch to grab those noodling craving urges. Well, doing a bit of searching for dinner and found Noodle Me. Let's get in to ... first, off currently Aug 2019, there is construction on the roads around the strip that Noodle Me is within, so it took us a while just to get in to the parking lot. Then we noticed there isn't a whole lot of parking. Maybe some across the street. But keep that in mind if you are driving over. Once we got in, the place is a nice small place. Does have lots of sitting, but slightly packed to fill more people. The staff was very friendly and the menu had nice photos for some of their meals to entice the new comers. So myself, my wife and my sister in law went in new. Ordered the wonton soup, combo lo-mein and their steam buns (thought they were dumplings). - The Wonton soup brother was very good. Noodles, not really anything to overly rave about and wontons were plenty. So an overall good dish. - The Combo Lo-Mein, was quite good. Enjoyed the noodles and a good variety of meat and vegetables. The odd part, wasn't exactly mixed up. Noodles on one side, veggies on a another side and meat. A bit of work to mix it all. So that assumes that all of it was not fully cooked together, which I feel helps to get more of the flavour across all of the ingredients, but to each their own. - and the Steam Buns, those were quite good. The dough was pretty thick for the small appetizers But a good overall. I will say the overall flavour is good and wouldn't hesitate to visit again if I'm in the area, but wouldn't drive across the city for it. read more

What kind of name is Noodle Me for a restaurant? I was skeptical but we like noodles, so we went. We were not disappointed! We tried: -109. Beef Brisket Noodles: highly recommend. Not spicy at all. The broth contained slices of dai kon in it which made the broth taste awesome. The noodles I got, standard noodles, tasted fresh. Generous portion of noodles. -101. House Noodles: very filling with beef, chicken and lamb in it. -Soup filled dumplings: came out hot in the basket. Pretty good. -Pan fried chicken buns: very interesting looking dish with buns looking like white balls. These also came out super hot and they were very filling. -Cold chicken dish: I don't like cold chicken in general so I'll leave out my biased comments. -Lamb kebobs: They were good but I don't like the smell of lamb so I'll leave out my biased comments. -Sweet potato pancake: special dish for the season. This wasn't on the menu but it was on the sign at the entrance. There was nothing special about this dish. I'd definitely come back for some noodles, dumplings and buns again. During our meal, we could see and hear the chef making noodles by hand. It must take a lot of strength and patience to be able to make these noodles by hand. Parking options are limited though the restaurant is in a small plaza with private parking spaces. read more

Yummmm :) this is probably one of the best noodle places in Hamilton, which admittedly has pretty scarce options for good Chinese food. They have different types of handmade noodles including pulled, sliced and in soup. I love the texture of the hand sliced noodles, perfectly chewy with lots of flavour. I ordered the seafood stir fried noodles and really enjoyed it. The portions are also huge and my dinner has lasted for 2.5 meals! We also ordered the tofu skewers which were yum too Would definitely come back to this place! The prices are reasonable but I think they've gone up from the posted menu prices. My meal cost $18 after tax and tip for the seafood noodles. read more

So I have an updated opinion of their hot bowl noodles. This is a very recent trend in Toronto called "cross bridge noodles" where the pot they place in front of you is super hot and you basically cook all the ingredients right in front of you with the noodles. The noodles come out cooked already and for me it was too soft. I wanted them to be chewy but it seemed like they were soggy and about to fall apart. The ingredients are actually on par for what they serve in Toronto. I'll probably come back as they are the only place that does this in Hamilton. I took 2 stars off: - 1 for the soggy noodles & they don't give out unlimited refills for them (but every store in Toronto literally does). -1 for increasing the prices but not changing them online ($13.50 from $10). & the food isn't very filling either. Parking is, once again, hostile. The restaurant is usually mad busy as it is cold asf outside. read more

Such a surprise find!!! Hamilton is primarily Italians and Croatians. To find an authentic Chinese that's not Canadianize is hard let alone to find authentic tasting Xian noodles! I got their spicy lamb with hand pulled noodle soup. Love the broth, tender slices of lamb, the little peppers and of course the noodles. I got takeout from here but I'm sure it would've been much better dining in. They took a little longer than they said for take out and I still had to wait a little when I went in. I've been craving for authentic Chinese-style noodles. I've seen this place a few times and finally found time to go in with my Caucasian friend. This place is very new I think. The Good: I ordered Lamb stock, Shaved noodle. Noodle is pretty large portion and very chewy. I like the Lamb stock soup because it is a bit sweet with some kind of Chinese medicine taste. My friend ordered Beef stock. I thought the taste is okay. Could be a bit stronger. We ordered Tofu skew and Lamb skew. We really like tofu skew. It's sweet and spicy. Price is about $8.99. Tofu skew is $1.50 and Lamb skew is $1.99. We will go back again for sure. It's not the best noodle place but it's good enough for Hamilton. LOL They also have some dry/cold noodles. May try that next time. You can ask for Chinese spicy oil for more taste. And the waitress said you can refill soup for no extra charge. read more

Came for lunch with a party of 6. The place is small but we got in at 11:30. They specialize in fresh noodles similar to Magic Noodle in Toronto where we usually go. The menu was quite big for a small place. I had the original and was able to opt out beef tripe and cilantro and they were able to get it right :). I got the hand cut with extra noodles and it was a good portion. I shared the noodles with my kids and they loved it. My dad had beef brisket and it looked good. We also got the lamb Kebobs which were good a tad salty. Service is typical for an Asian place. Air conditioning was a bit low so it was a bit hot in there but I'd return. read more

The noodles are handmade and very fresh to order. I made the mistake of getting the wide noodles which were hard to pick up and eat. They were very y heavy as well. Yes finally a hand pulled noodle place! This place is great! I ordered the original noodle soup which comes with beef stock, sliced beef, pickled turnip heart shaped egg, cilantro and scallions as a garnish. A beefy and herbaceous soup with bouncy and silky noodles. There wasn't much beef but there was a lot of noodles! Also the shaanxi liangpi that comes with thick rice noodles topped with sesame oil, peanut sauce and chili oil. A refreshing cold noodle appetizer that's nutty with a kick. My waitress was very welcoming. Overall a great place for noodle cravings. Will come again! read more

Had a lunch with a friend a few weeks ago and went to Noodle Me. This place is becoming my go-to place for hand pulled noodles. I ordered the soup noodle with bbq pork (cha siu). The noodles were really fresh and cooked al dente. The bbq is standard and pretty good. Broth is clear and subtle. Overall a great meal that is rather substantial. read more

thoroughly impressed with this place! some comforting chinese noodle soup favourites served in a cozy space, located in a great downtown location. service was perfectly fine, nothing to complain about. i ordered the spicy pork intestine noodle soup, which has an interesting broth comprised of what i think are roasted chilis, with lots of green onions as well. i would prefer more garlic flavour as well as different types of chili peppers, but i started to warm up to the broth the more i ate it. noodles were a good thin-ish size with perfect chewy texture. the intestines were delicious. just under $10 for the dish, which i think is well worth it. no, i will not noodle you, but i will certainly be back here some time soon read more

Very basic in regard to the décor, but the food was very good. I had the course that comes with the platter of 10 sides that you put into your soup broth and I couldn't have been happier. My wife had the wonton soup and was also very pleased. The prices were great and the service was good. I would defiantly good again and suggest it for others to try. They have home made noodles and we were lucky enough to see them stretching out the noodles and making them while we were there. read more

Yummy, not only exceeded our expectations but was down right fantastic. The noodles were exquisite, nice and doughy, reminds me of the same texture at Kyouka Ramen (different style but same feeling when biting into the noodles) in Toronto. We had a few different bowls, chicken, bbq park & beef tendon, all good quality and cooked perfectly. Exquisite broth to boot. Rice noodles were overcooked, soggy and broken. The staff was rude and refused to replace it. Will not visit again.

The noodles were really fresh but the soup broth and toppings were lacking. The shanghai dumplings were good as were the scallion flats.

First time in a long time I've eaten this much food in one sitting. Not overly salty. Surprisingly light considering they're huge bowls of noodles. Worth it! read more
