This place, as the name implies, makes their own noodles. As an added bonus, they are also open late. The noodles are, of course amazing. And long. A bowl of noodle soup has maybe 4 noodles, but it's completely full of noodley goodness.

Didn't feel welcomed and the food was good, although hyped up a bit. Ambiance was average and not the most comfortable.

I got the tomato rice noodles and a beef roll. Both tasted great and were served quickly. The server was also very nice.

Noodles and dumplings is a diamond in the rough. Situated in Downtown Hamilton the restaurant is…read moreextremely small giving an almost street food ambiance as best it can. Seating for about 8 -10 people. This particular day I ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup. A massive bowl of fresh hand made noodle and fresh wontons in a delectable broth. This broth was not hot chili wise as some other soups they offer with naked thus place unique. Each bowl is crafted with a different taste and being a small place the chef is visible to see! The attention to detail in every bowl is amazing as he takes time to perfect each to be a perfect presentation. Very hawker/street style! No need to go to Toronto it's all right here. The hours are limited during the week and more flexible on weekend as the there is only one guy (the chef) and a counter person. highly impressed highly recommend

However if you're looking for absolutely authentic noodles and dumplings served up steaming hot with the sweetest owners then go ahead and pay them a visit. Everything was so inexpensive for the portion size! The beef noodle soup was heaven in a bowl and we loved the pork wontons both steamed and fried. Lots of street parking close by but be warned there is not much seating and it's super cold if you sit by the door as there's lots of people going in and out. Seriously incredible stuff

We were quite impressed with the food here...it's actually very authentic northern style Chinese food. If you are not familiar with the food in this region, I can see why some people had negative comments. My advice to you if you are not familiar with some of their menu items, order the fried rice/noodles and fried dumplings and not items like chicken with ginger & scallion sauce. The latter dish is actually a popular Chinese chicken dish that is not commonly offered in Chinese westernized restaurants. I did see a photo of this dish on google soaking in oil which doesn't look too appealing so I would request for the ginger onion oil sauce on the side (maybe it's prepared in Northern style?). I will definitely try it on my next visit. We got the shrimp fried rice and beef brisket udon in beef bone soup. Both dishes were good and I was surprised that there were quite a few large shrimps in the rice. The soup base was a bit bland but the beef brisket was tender and flavourful. Highly recommend this dish if you are looking for comfort food. Make sure you ask for their chilli sauce which is great for the beef brisket! My favourite dish was #519 fried tofu...this was perfectly done and I requested the sauce to be on the side. The best way to eat fried tofu is to dip the hot crispy tofu with a bit of the sauce! The pan fried dumplings were only okay but they did serve it well with vinegar sauce! I will definitely be coming back on my visits to MAC U.

the food here is generally great but quality has been inconsistent the last few times I've been.read more

Hand pulled noodles are my new thing so Noodle Me has been on my to-try list. We started with…read moreseaweed salad and a chili potato salad. I preferred the seaweed, which was pretty delicious actually. We also ordered the beef brisket noodle soup, a stir fry noodle dish with pork, and buns. The soup was delicious - great flavor, noodles were amazing as expected. The brisket was tasty but difficult to eat because you had to chew for a long long time, long enough to swallow, if that makes sense. I just let my husband eat all of the beef after my one bite. The pork dish was good too but the flavors didn't wow me. Maybe I should have ordered something spicier - although adding the chili spice helped a lot. The soup buns (5 buns/order) were amazing - super hot (temperature wise) and very tasty. We were almost too full to finish them. All ingredients seemed super fresh. Always cool to see the noodles being made - just be prepared for loud noises, especially if you have your back turned away from the counter. I guess other hand pulled noodle places I've been to there's some sort of separation or glassed in area to see them being pulled, but when the dough gets slammed onto the counter it's quite loud. I would bet each batch has at least 3 slams? I'm sure it's to get the air pockets out and is necessary - I just wonder if there's a sound barrier type option or maybe some funny sign warning or heads up from the waitstaff? We can't wait to try something else from Noodle Me!

Let's get in to ... first, off currently Aug 2019, there is construction on the roads around the strip that Noodle Me is within, so it took us a while just to get in to the parking lot. Then we noticed there isn't a whole lot of parking. Maybe some across the street. But keep that in mind if you are driving over. Once we got in, the place is a nice small place. Does have lots of sitting, but slightly packed to fill more people. The staff was very friendly and the menu had nice photos for some of their meals to entice the new comers. So myself, my wife and my sister in law went in new. Ordered the wonton soup, combo lo-mein and their steam buns (thought they were dumplings). - The Wonton soup brother was very good. Noodles, not really anything to overly rave about and wontons were plenty. So an overall good dish. - The Combo Lo-Mein, was quite good. Enjoyed the noodles and a good variety of meat and vegetables. The odd part, wasn't exactly mixed up. Noodles on one side, veggies on a another side and meat. A bit of work to mix it all. So that assumes that all of it was not fully cooked together, which I feel helps to get more of the flavour across all of the ingredients, but to each their own. - and the Steam Buns, those were quite good. The dough was pretty thick for the small appetizers But a good overall. I will say the overall flavour is good and wouldn't hesitate to visit again if I'm in the area, but wouldn't drive across the city for it.
