Randomly found this little restaurant in the plaza I frequent to eat Hakka food. The reviews looked really good both on Google & Yelp so I dragged my bf here for a car meal. The lady is really nice. The service is super friendly. We ordered from the lunch menu: $7.99 The lunch menu comes with a refreshing lemonade that is perfect for this weather. They also give a good amount of fresh rice & a fresh spring roll 1. Sweet & Sour Chicken: My boyfriend says this is a winner. The chicken is great quality and they don't try to rip you off by over-battering it. There was too much sauce however - we'd probably just ask for less sauce next time. 2. Spicy Beef: The beef wasn't as spicy as I'd like it to be and I would've liked there to be a little bit more beef rather than all the onions and veggies. However, for a lunch portion I couldn't complain. The total came up to be around $19, which is pretty good for Burlington. I'd come back to try more traditional Chinese dishes on their menu! read more

If you like egg rolls try this place they are the best. Also portions are very generous

Food was excellent Great service Small quiet place which for me is nice. Value for money = A1

Just not very good. As a cook I can tell by the taste that they don't change their oil very often in the fryers. 8/2 a plate and gave the rest of the neighbour. They said it was good. But I'm pretty sure they were just being polite. Will look elsewhere for better Chinese food. read more

A few things here. This was a really bad experience. I found nothing in my order to be edible. The soup, fried rice, and main chicken dish were all disgusting. I really found the egg rolls to be especially offensive. You can find better Chinese in a mall food court. I threw it all out. read more

We saw the restaurant the other day and through we would give it a shot. Love trying out new places! We had the "2-person" family meal with general tso and spicy chicken as the meat cartons. The meal was very flavourful - portions were a great size. Enough for leftovers What I really liked was the food was not greasy or over cooked. Most Chinese restaurants/takeout places really grease it up now and this felt very healthy. Don't get me wrong, it was still fried but not saturated in oil. They have some pains as the restaurant is a week and a half old. But that should go away soon enough. Give them a try. I know that we will be retur read more

NOT closed, very much open with excellent food! Fresh, delicious, not greasy 10/10! Call 905-981-6820

We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The lady who served me was polite friendly & responsive. When she told me it would be 10 minutes or so I decided to wait in my vehicle. To my amazement she brought me out a complimentary cold drink to enjoy while I waited. When I went inside to pick up my order she handed me a complimentary pastry to enjoy! Never received this kind of hospitality at comparable restaurants before. Excellent food served hot and packaged in nice containers . Excellent service! We will definitely return here! read more

i was expecting more considering the reviews i read here. Chicken balls are store bought and cooked from frozen which makes the fake meat more tough, chicken fried noodles were plain with no flavor, only thing that was good was the handmade fried dumplings, i would return for those. read more

Just like the rest I guess. We went the first time, seemed okay stuff did taste off. Last time we went, about a month or so ago, the infamous magic curtains that grace any Chinese restaurant hide what you really don't want to see. Crazy thing is, is that it's pandemic days, no one is dining in the restaurant, so, they should have MORE time to clean and keep a place of prepping food PRISTINE. The carpet going through kitchen looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned all year, the kitchen had dirty dishes and empty buckets of crap everywhere. Cook was just in street clothes no gloves or mask. The chicken balls were honestly just nasty batter balls, almost zero chicken, and I wouldn't even call it chicken, it's like a processed mush, doesn't even resemble a meat. The sauces on everything is way too salty and off tasting. You can tell this place REALLY tries to push all the glamours reviews, its really, no different than any other Chinese joint around. read more

I had a craving for Chinese food one night and because I have not yet found a place in Burlington that has become my go to for Chinese I decided to try My Chinese Dish for the first time. I have to say that my first experience here was a very good one. I ordered ahead, the food was ready as I arrived and the helping sizing was good. The sweet and sour chicken was very good with nice chunks of chicken that were not overly battered as usually happens in my experience. The beer and broccoli was very tasty with the beef being a little on the tough side (a common thing with this dish). The black pepper chicken was very tasty with my only complaint being it could have had fewer onions. This has become my go to for Chinese in Burlington. Try it out, you won't regret it. read more

Had a craving for won ton soup and popped in to give it a try. Wow! Chock full of the tenderest meat-filled wontons with freshly sliced vegetables and tiny shrimp pieces in a richly flavoured broth - heads and shoulders above anything in its class. A full, healthy and delicious meal for $9.99, impossible to beat! The friendliest and kindest staff to top it all off - kept my cup full of amazing Chinese black tea with a side of shrimp crackers at no charge, while waiting for the soup. I'll be returning for a multi-course meal in the near future! read more

Very nice Chinese restaurant in Burlington with good food. Modern decor and clean. Friendly owner. They have a few authentic Chinese dishes which you can't find them elsewhere in Toronto. Ask for their secret menu if you want to venture. It might open a new page for you. Will return again. read more

The food is super fresh and not greasy. Lots of vegetables with the meat. Order early and expect it not to be ready when you get there to pick it up. It is worth the wait because it is so good and the owners are lovely. Order the dinner for 2 x 2 and you will get a lot of food for an excellent price. read more

A new, extremely clean location for delicious, freshly made Chinese food. The menu has a nice selection, but doesn't overwhelm - a sign that they're offering the best. Servings of their 'cartons' are perfect. We had the Family of Four package, with enough for at least 6 people. The Spring Rolls are yummy and crispy. The meat dishes could have a touch more sauce and the noodles tasty but are a bit on the dry side. BUT the food is delicious. Much better than most other Chinese food takeout options in Burlington. We're definitely coming back. read more

Tried out My Chinese Dish on Fairview in Burlington Ontario. Excellent service, Excellent food and not overly priced...Restaurant is beautiful and meticulously clean....While we were waiting for our order the lovely lady at the front offered us tea on the house then brought us 4 delicious dumplings to try...Our takeout did not disappoint. We ordered the dinner for 2 with General Tso and the Ginger chicken. My son ordered the General Tso with fried noodles and mixed vegs....Everything was so flavorful and portion size was very generous....was not greasy at all, which I have found to be a problem with other restaurants We have tried.... We will defiantly be going back to this restaurant again.....Do yourself favor and give them a try.... read more
