    NY Slice pepperoni pizza!!!
    Brooke A.

Nonno's is making BIG MOVES!!!! They have a NEW BIG LOCATION near the Burlington Walmart (previously in the mall) with tables and a NEW BIG MENU with Italian Classic Pastas!!!! On this visit I got a fresh BIG PEPPERONI PIZZA with nice BIG NY STYLE SLICES that I could fold in half and were full of flavor!!! The staff (and possibly the owner?) greeted me with a NICE BIG SMILE and BIG POSITIVE ENERGY!!!! It made me feel very welcome and brought a smile to my face after a long day! Also, don't miss out on the NICE BIG GARLIC KNOTS (I tried them with mozzarella this time)! Congrats Nonno's on the new location, expansive menu, and bar!!!! Can't wait to dine in and try one of your new pastas with a glass of wine and one of your weekly specials!!!!!

Pizza with pepperoni sausage green peppers onion. As you can see only 2 pepperoni on this slice.

We wanted to try Nonnas it was ok the pizza crust was good but could have more flavor in the sauce and also more pepperoni to give more flavor

    Stromboli

Amazing, the family works there together and Maria is very friendly. She makes everyone feel welcome with her own unique style. now for the food, my wife is a dire critique of muscle dishes! Her family is from Calabria Italy. She said they're the best she's ever had. The sauce was extremely fresh with chunks of fresh garlic. I had the Stromboli, which is very hard to find In Burlington. My wife had Veal Parmesan with Angel hair pasta, and she raved about the quality of the dish. Everything came out and the food presentation was beautiful. Even the garlic rolls were very delicious. and pretty. we had two glasses of wine, four bottles of Penori nonalcoholic Italian beer and the total price was very very reasonable. Definitely a go to for great quality dinner for a great price and great atmosphere! looks like they hit the trifecta. !!

Man, what a great place to get a Stromboli!! I ordered an Italian Stromboli, a small one at that. It was fantastic and big enough that I will make 2 meals out of it.. I could have a new favorite pizza place in Burlington

If you like New York style pizza, come check this place out! Was recommended by someone in the area to me when I first moved back and I'm glad he told me about this place. They have excellent options for lunch at great prices. My go to is the two slices of pepperoni and a can of soda for $7. That's very hard to beat for lunch. The pizza is also very tasty as well.

Everything is excellent! Family favorites are chicken parm & chicken alfredo Super friendly service.

After traveling from South Carolina for a soccer tournament we were looking for somewhere to grab some dinner! We are so happy we went to Nonno's Pizza! My husband and two daughters were greeted and sat by our welcoming server, Karly. The environment of the restaurant was warm and calm. We were scouting the menu and asked for suggestions and she recommended our appetizer, which was the trio, fried zucchini, fried ravioli, and mozzarella sticks. It was delicious, crunchy, cheesy, fresh, and hot! We had the Margherita pizza and rigatoni carbonara that came with a side salad and garlic rolls! The four of us shared everything and it was all so wonderful! Fresh, cheesy, delicious! Highly recommend checking this fantastic restaurant out!

My husband and I ordered in the restaurant, but they do have a digital drive thru for online pick up orders. We went a little after noon and the line was somewhat long, but the staff worked quickly to make their way through everyone's orders. I created my own Grains Bowl with half saffron basmati rice, half supergreens, traditional hummus, half grilled steak, half roasted vegetables, fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, avocado, tomato & cucumber, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, and Greek vinaigrette (on the side). I also got a side of the hot harissa pita chips. It took maybe 15 minutes from when we entered Cava to when we sat down with our food. The food was fresh and blended well together. It was my first time trying the steak and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the pita chips too. I was a little hesitant that they would be too spicy, but they weren't at all. They were crunchy, warm, and with a hint of the harissa flavor - which was perfect to me. Pita chips feel like a must now with all Cava entrees. Restaurant was clean, bright, and buzzing with activity. The staff were friendly, but very concentrated on making sure everything was correct. The line to order was to the door when we ended up leaving. Parking is not an issue here because it's in a big shopping center. Cava is my go to place in Greensboro, so I'm excited it's closer to home now. Everyone should go show Cava some support and expect to be patient since the employees are brand new.

I liked seeing nutrition info per ingredient instead of a vague general range on the menu board. It's bright and clean, but it can get busy, and seating can be limited.

Having Camrii as our server felt like being wrapped in a warm hug by a southern auntie. Our service was very attentive, patient and our needs were anticipated more than most places I've dined in the last 3 years. The soup and breadsticks were abundant. The garlic breadsticks are always hot and fresh! The Zappa Toscana with fresh grated cheese and pepper was comforting. They brought back my steak and Gorgonzola dish! It was creamy, indulgent and had plenty of sauce, cheese, steak and vegetables. I had to take two thirds of the dish home. Not pictured but extremely honorable mention, the STRAWBERRY LIMONCELLO MARGARITA was amazing! I convinced someone else in my post that they needed to order one as well. Very good margarita for any chain restaurant. This Olive Garden location is one of the better ones in the area and I'll definitely be back.

This time I decided to keep things a little more Atkins/keto friendly and ordered a grilled chicken salad and a cup of chili. The total came to just over $26, with the salad alone costing almost $17. I understand prices have gone up everywhere. I can accept that. What I can't accept is paying premium prices while the overall experience falls short. The first issue started before I even got inside. The restaurant was packed, and customers were parked all along the curb directly in front of the designated to go pickup area. That completely blocked access. It took me nearly ten minutes of circling the parking lot, backing up near the dumpster, moving again, and eventually squeezing my truck into a parking space (in the "to-go" pick up area where I'm supposed to be anyway) just to pick up my order. When you're that busy, parking becomes part of the customer experience. At some point management needs to step in and help keep traffic moving instead of allowing the pickup area to become unusable (don't tell me I'm wrong because I'll tell you what not only did. I have to navigate that situation due to cars being along the curb in front of the to go area, but two other vehicles that were parked in the to go spaces had nobody in them and I was there for 10 minutes waiting for my food so those people were inside eating in the restaurant I presume-given that I observed their empty vehicles for a total of 20 minutes). To be fair, the employee who brought my order out was excellent. She greeted me with a smile, was friendly, professional, and was easily the brightest part of the entire experience. Then I got home and opened the salad. For $17, this was honestly disappointing. The chicken, bacon, and toppings had simply been simply tossed in there, while the rest was mostly plain, sad looking lettuce. It looked rushed and careless, especially considering the price. The first of several photos are exactly how the salad looked the moment I opened the container on my kitchen counter. I hadn't touched it or moved anything around. The last photo, however, my awesome lady was able to turn that same salad into something amazing in just a couple of minutes. SHE chopped up some pepperoni that we already had in the refrigerator, diced a little Colby Jack cheese, added tomatoes, mixed everything together, and finished it with ranch dressing and a level 10 appearance on the plate. She didn't have to cook anything. She simply took the time to prepare it the way a $17 salad probably should have looked when it left the restaurant. The chili was good, and I'll absolutely give credit where it's due. Drake's still has menu items I enjoy, and I've had plenty of good meals there over the years. But when you're charging premium prices, customers deserve the same level of quality whether the restaurant is half full or packed to the walls. Being busy explains delays. It doesn't excuse lowering the standard. I genuinely hope Drake's takes this as constructive feedback because I know they can do better. I've seen them do better!
