Great experience at Nonno's! Bought five pizzas for my grandson's 9th birthday at nearby Cedat Rock Park. There were rave reviews and the pizzas were great! My favorite was pizza topped with peppers and fresh mushrooms! The toppings were cut small and evenly distributed, resulting in toppings with every bite! Had a wonderful lunch at Nonno's today! It was our first time there. We found them through an advertising mailer. Very happy with our luncheon specials...husband had Eggplant parm with angel hair pasta and I had stuffed shells. The lunch specials were generous portions that came with homemade garlic rolls and a generous fresh salad and homemade dressings. The shells were freshly made, not frozen. Both were too much for us to finish so leftovers went into a doggie bag for another day. We met the owner, Nonno, and his lovely daughter. Both were happy to meet us...they gave us a takeout menu and a punch card to use at 10 visits to qualify for 15% off at 11th visit. The ambiance was friendly, family oriented, and fairly quiet. The kitchen was in full view of the restaurant through glass windows...very clean and well organized. Beer and wine varieties were available to purchase. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with handicapped accessible stalls. The entrance was handicapped accessible. Looking forward to our next visit...soon we hope. read more

My husband and I visited Nonno's for the first time on Friday night around 7pm. The place was about half full, and I liked the clean and inviting atmosphere. The hostess was friendly and efficient, as were our severs. I ordered a side house salad with ranch dressing (loved their ranch!) and a 10" cheese pizza. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana sub and fries. Everything exceeded expectations for a casual Italian pizza joint. The pizza had a nice chewy NY-style crust and plenty of gooey mozzarella. The chicken sub was massive and my husband really enjoyed it. We both were only able to finish half our meals and had the remainder for lunch the following day. Nonno's prices are incredibly reasonable and they have inexpensive lunch specials Monday-Saturday. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying out one of their pasta dishes. read more

Nonnos is great. Food and atmosphere will make you smile. However, be prepared to spend at least $30 for a pie.. well worth it. This ain't that cardboard garbage that dominos started producing .. I had never really paid attention to the stores in that area, however I spotted this place after running to Walmart for my Parentals. I looked up this place on Google and the reviews were really good, so I decided to check it out. When I walked in, it was packed! It looks like a typical pizza joint and table talk was average. The only available seats were at the bar - I guess that's a plus! I sat down and was immediately asked for my drink order - again, another plus! I decided to place a to-go order and ordered a meatball sub, extra sauce. This restaurant had consistent in and out with customers - a plus! Nonno's is making BIG MOVES!!!! They have a NEW BIG LOCATION near the Burlington Walmart (previously in the mall) with tables and a NEW BIG MENU with Italian Classic Pastas!!!! On this visit I got a fresh BIG PEPPERONI PIZZA with nice BIG NY STYLE SLICES that I could fold in half and were full of flavor!!! The staff (and possibly the owner?) greeted me with a NICE BIG SMILE and BIG POSITIVE ENERGY!!!! It made me feel very welcome and brought a smile to my face after a long day! Amazing, the family works there together and Maria is very friendly. She makes everyone feel welcome with her own unique style. now for the food, my wife is a dire critique of muscle dishes! Her family is from Calabria Italy. She said they're the best she's ever had. The sauce was extremely fresh with chunks of fresh garlic. I had the Stromboli, which is very hard to find In Burlington. My wife had Veal Parmesan with Angel hair pasta, and she raved about the quality of the dish. Everything came out and the food presentation was beautiful. Even the garlic rolls were very delicious. and pretty. we had two glasses of wine, four bottles of Penori nonalcoholic Italian beer and the total price was very very reasonable. Definitely a go to for great quality dinner for a great price and great atmosphere! looks like they hit the trifecta. !! read more

They have excellent options for lunch at great prices. My go to is the two slices of pepperoni and a can of soda for $7. That's very hard to beat for lunch. The food was delicious, reminds me of the Italian food I used to get back home. The pizza was perfect and my daughter's eggplant dish looked amazing. Maria was fantastic, you could tell she was part of a family business. Serving up great food with pride, much different than most restaurants where employees have no skin in the game. After traveling from South Carolina for a soccer tournament we were looking for somewhere to grab some dinner! We are so happy we went to Nonno's Pizza! My husband and two daughters were greeted and sat by our welcoming server, Karly. The environment of the restaurant was warm and calm. We were scouting the menu and asked for suggestions and she recommended our appetizer, which was the trio, fried zucchini, fried ravioli, and mozzarella sticks. It was delicious, crunchy, cheesy, fresh, and hot! We had the Margherita pizza and rigatoni carbonara that came with a side salad and garlic rolls! This place is located right inside Holly Hills Mall here in burlington. New spot that opened up. The man was very nice and helpful as soon as we walked up we were greeted and shown the menu and lunch special. We decided on the lunch special which is $5.95 for 2 cheese slices and a canned soda or bottled water. We upgraded 2 slices to Sicilian and Chicken bacon ranch. They quickly got our slices ready. The cheese was exactly what you want for a slice of cheese pizza. If you like new york pizza then they do it right for you. The sicilian had great flavor, and was nice and warm for us. You can customize your sauce for the chicken bacon ranch and get buffalo or barbecue if you want instead which is nice. The owner even checked back in to make sure we were enjoying our food.
