We've ordered delivery multiple times and the food is outstanding. We've tried a variety of items: pizza (of course), hot and cold subs, calzone, and pasta dishes. We have never been disappointed. You just have to be REALLY patient when placing your order because the person taking orders has a very heavy accent. Just be patient. The food is worth it! read more

I ordered chicken wings for my son and the woman on the phone was disrespectful to me and we got our food and two of my sons wings had a long piece of hair in the wings and we called them back and she wouldn't refund us the money without returning the whole order but my son had already eaten some then got a wing with hair so they won't refund me this place should be shut down read more

I have mixed reviews. The food is good, but the phone experience is horrible!!!!! Staff answering phones(mainly owner) is always very short and make you feel like you are bothering them. The drivers are always great and friendly. I guess you have to take the good with the bad. read more

We did not get as far as trying the food due to the extremely unsavory customer service displayed upon ordering for delivery. We are from out of town working in the area, we had our uncle who is mildly autistic call in the order for us. Apparently there was a communication issue about the address and the individual on the phone taking the order became frustrated placed the phone down and exclaimed in an inconvenienced tone, "This guy doesn't even know where he lives" !!!! Absolutely Unequivocally unacceptable!!!! You are in the service industry. Customer service should be your focus. You failed miserably today. Dining at this establishment will not be an option in our future as we would be uncomfortable knowing we were an inconvenience. read more

Not good, but cheap. Pizza tastes like it came from a box, Chef Boyardee make at home style. The interior has a Mexican dining feel, like it was a Mexican restaurant that didn't go over well so they went Italian. With all the choices around, I would pass this place up and not look back. read more

These people are rude! They charged me for pepperoni and didn't give it to me. Of course I didn't know this until I tore off the corner and they wouldn't give me a new one. You charged me so give me what I ordered! The owner is a rude woman and whoever told her that she should open a business should be slapped in the face. Although I can't say much about dining in, I've always been happy with their delivery service. My wife and I love the strombolis, and my daughter would swear the lasagna was prepared by angels. I've never had trouble giving my order over the phone. The food is always delivered hot, and in a reasonable amount of time. The delivery driver is always pleasant, and even takes the time to say hi to my very talkative 6 year old. I've been in the restaurant once to pick up an order, and although it didn't look like much, it was clean. The staff wasn't the friendliest, but they weren't rude. They even offered to change the TV to an english speaking channel, although I declined. All-in-all, the food is tasty, and the service acceptable. Tonight was my first visit to Carusos. I have driven by there a hundred times, but never stopped because it doesn't look like much from the outside. Honestly, it doesn't look like much on the inside, either, but it did appear to be clean. I looked over the menu and ordered the Stromboli. It was really good. It wasn't as large as some other places that sell Stromboli, but it was only $6 and it was plenty of food for my dinner. Staff was friendly. Bottom line: building and decor are outdated, but the food (at least the Stromboli) is good and inexpensive. I will return and try some of the other menu items and update my review when I do. read more

I enjoy the place. It reminds me of the little family operations on then corner up North. My daughters have enjoyed it with me as well.

My last trip to this restaurant...ordered the cheese steak ...the bread was so hard I couldn't eat it. Had to scrape the meat off and just eat the meat..the server never asked how the food was and the cashier/ server didn't ask when we paid our bill.and we were the only customers in there..my sister ask for a cup of ice and was told the ice machine wasn't working. And that they have to buy ice. But I got water with ice in it...I'll go elsewhere next time. read more

I have mixed feelings about Caruso's. The service and attitude is terrible. The parking situation is horrendous (all of the spots in front of the restaurant front the highway making it difficult and dangerous to exit. The interior and exterior leave a lot to be desired. But, the stromboli is great. I've had the ziti when they've catered for a large meeting and it was pretty good. I've been there several times and the service has been worse each time I've been back. The last time I ate there, the service and bad attitude were inexcusable. We had a group of eleven and were taking a coworker out for her birthday. It took around a half hour to get our food, the majority of our party ordered stromboli. The stromboli was on lunch special for $5.75. When they brought them out, they were unsure what items were in each stromboli and had trouble getting the right orders to the right people. Several orders did not have the right extra items that were ordered with them. It took almost 20 minutes to get my drink refilled. One person in our party received their stromboli 15 minutes after everyone else because they accidentally made two of my order and forgot hers. When we paid, one of our party paid for the birthday girl's lunch, then left. The birthday girl approached the counter to pay (not knowing that someone had paid for her) and they tried to charge her. When another in our party brought it to their attention, the owner seemed to get angry and then told them that she still owed $1.34 for extra ingredients that were on her order (which she did order, but did not receive both because they messed up the order). They paid the $1.34 anyway just to avoid the hassle. When I paid for mine, rather than charge me for the "lunch special" stromboli at $5.75 and add $1 worth of extra toppings, they charged me the regular price $6.75 and added $1 for the toppings. When I placed my order, I specifically asked the waitress if I could add ingredients to the "lunch special" and she said I could. While I was checking out, I noticed that the duplicate of my order that they accidentally made was still sitting on top of the pizza oven. I offered to buy the mistaken order for half off, but she told me they wouldn't sell it for less than full price. The waitress told me they would feed it to the dogs. I used to tell everyone that they needed to try Caruso's because they had the best stromboli in town...They still do, but I won't recommend them anymore because of their poor service and attitude toward their customers. read more

I've eaten here several times and the food has always been delicious. However, last night we ordered pizza and there was a piece of hair on the food. We made the kids stop eating (but one child had already finished his piece) and we called and informed them of the issue. While I understand mistakes happen the lady was very nasty saying it's not possible to have anything on the food because they wear hair nets and she told us if we had already started eating the food she would not return our money. I told her we did not want the money just another pizza. She instructed us to put the pizza in the box and she would send another one out. We did as instructed and another pizza was delivered. 10 mins later she called us back and said she felt like we were taking advantage of her and just wanted another pizza without having to pay. I told her she got the pizza back that was initially delivered so I did not understand her comment. She said we ate the pizza and got another one for free. I told her it was only one piece missing and the other slice that I took out of my 3 yrs olds mouth was only half eaten and in the box. I've never experienced such terrible customer service. I could understand if we had called in the past wanting them to replace food but to be called a liar and accused of taking advantage of their business was very unprofessional.
