We were in town for Valentine's Day and came upon this restaurant. So glad we did. They had outdoor seating available since we did not have reservations and it was a beautiful day to be outside. The server was very helpful and offered free sparkling wine for Valentine's Day. I loved the house made pasta, and the basil pesto sauce was full of flavor. It was a very romantic late lunch and so glad we came. Server was attentive and hopeful.

Cute and quaint spot in downtown Hillsborough. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere and will definitely be back again for the fettuccine con polpette. It was so good!

Excellent service and delicious food! I had the Manicotti di Pollo e Spinaci a la Vodka, couldn't have enjoyed it more! Atmosphere "almost" makes you feel like you're in a quaint restaurant in Italy. We were seated right away for a late lunch. Enjoyed bread with oil pepper and Parmesan for dipping. Wonderful experience all around. Bonus my twin granddaughters highly approved

We enjoyed our dinner so much we made a reservation for a Sunday brunch the next morning! The menu offers a wide variety of options and features specials for drinks, starters and meals. The service was extraordinary and a huge thank you for accommodating our party of 6. The seating area indoors is split into two rooms with intimate seating. There are also limited outdoor tables in front of the restaurant. I enjoyed the pimento BLT for brunch that paired well with a mimosa. Thank you for the great service and delicious food!

A local recommended Antonia's yesterday for lunch. We sat outside at their picnic tables to enjoy the beautiful weather, which made the experience even better. From the warm welcome from the host, to the exceptional service from our waitress, Callie, it was clear the staff really care about creating a great experience. The food was delicious--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every detail made for a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We received slides of white bread toasted. Why would a restaurant serve white bread toasted? Very disappointing.

The place was busy and had Italian music playing in the background. It has tables and booths to the side with the main counter at front and you can smell the food as soon as you walk in. It immediately makes you hungry. We were seated at a booth and offered their free focaccia style bread with an olive oil accompaniment, which was delish. The bread was hot and crunchy, but not too much where you could still dip it in the olive oil. We then ordered a personal cheese pizza, the lasagna and the chicken parmigiana (which I didn't photograph). Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and funny. I would def recommend coming here and checking it out.

The interior, however, is very casual and family friendly. I ordered a pasta dish consisting of cheese tortellini, pink vodka sauce, shrimp, and spinach. The tortellini was cooked to perfection, the cheese filling and the texture all together was very pleasing. The sauce was delicious and featured roasted cherry tomatoes, which were very flavorful. The spinach was also cooked perfectly, and complimented the vodka sauce very well. The shrimp, however, was very bland; it, strangely, was very crunchy. When eating, it almost had the taste and texture of a baby carrot. The focaccia served complimentary to the meal was delicious! It was light and fluffy. The oil and crushed sun-dried tomato served with the focaccia, though, was also very bland. This could possibly be the quality of the tomato, it may not have even been sun dried tomatoes in the oil, I did not think to ask. The food came out in a timely fashion and piping hot! The server was very kind and personable. One thing I'd like to note is that on the menu, sauce options included an 'Alfredo' sauce and a 'butter and cheese' sauce. Traditional 'Alfredo' sauce is butter and cheese, no other ingredients; so, this was a bit misleading and odd. Overall, I would recommend Magone and will be returning!

We ordered the 1/2 order of fried banana peppers, dry rub wings, a bacon jam burger and tots. Oh! and beer! The star of the night was the banana peppers. Tangy and delicious, the small was huge! The wings were def done right and although I'm a blue cheese fan, the ranch was better. I'm knocking off one star for the burger. It was $16 (with tots) but it was tiny! It had one slice of red onion, a few shreds of lettuce, maybe a teaspoon of bacon jam and I'm not certain it had cheese at all. It tasted great, and the tots were perfect, but for that price I expected a burger that was bigger and more substantial than a $4 burger from Jimmy's. With all the other stuff (we shared) we were full but on its own, that burger would've been a disappointment. I'll go back for those banana peppers and wings, but I'll skip that little bitty burger.

We started with the focaccia bread, and wow, it was pillowy and melt in your mouth good. The butter that accompanies it was a warm hug that brought the whole thing together. I'm so glad we decided to take a chance. We also discovered that some of the information online about the ownership is inaccurate. My husband spoke with one of the owners, who explained that while one of the original owners has passed away, the restaurant continues to be owned and operated by the remaining three owners. I'm happy to say that the bread was just as delicious as we remembered, and the quality of the food was every bit as good as in the past. The only suggestion I would make is to expand the wine selection. There weren't many people dining while we were there, but I'm hoping that was simply because of the time we chose to eat. We've always enjoyed this restaurant, and this visit reminded us why. We'll definitely be back soon!
