I'm removing two stars for some frustrating and sadly ironic reasons…read more Junction is now under new ownership and it's not going well. The new owner has raised prices, reduced portion sizes, increased wait times for food readiness, and increased wait times for food ordering. Nearly all of the front-of-house staff has been replaced and there is a definite vibe of unrest when I walk in now (the few times that I still go there) Chip portions are bleak, the wraps are about two-thirds their previous size, and everything costs more... a recipe for disaster in my opinion. This was the ONE business in Mebane that needed absolutely nothing... it was turn key for any new owner and a guaranteed hit with the locals. Within a few months, the feedback from me and everyone else I've talked to is that it's now on the decline and we no longer recommend it to visitors, or family visiting. Absolute shame... but I shouldn't be surprised.

This is a serve yourself, clear the table like a McDonalds. Requesting a tip upfront before receiving pizza and being self serving restaurant I found this over and above. Someone brings pizza to table when cooked. Otherwise it's on you. I spoke with the cashier about this and he said it was the owners thing. Seems like money grabbing to me to pay the bills. I think this will chill more customers than is worth it. Maybe not, maybe just me‍

For dinner, I had the Johnson Club, onion rings, and sweet tea. The club was and still is one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. The amount of protein is plentiful, and the addition of the egg puts this over the top. The restaurant is a bakery so the bread used for the sub is soft and fresh. The onion rings were hot, had the perfect amount of crisp and they were not soggy like other places I've been to. Overall, I left with nostalgia and I am definitely looking forward to coming back! Customer Service: Upon arrival, the waitresses welcomed me in and invited me to sit anywhere. I was promptly tended to and my waitress was soooooo friendly!!! It's the southern charm and politeness I miss the most about North Carolina and neighboring areas. Already knowing the sandwich I wanted, I took her advice between the fries and onion rings and she didn't steer me wrong! I appreciate her work ethic and making sure that everyone in the dining room had what they needed and helping a few others (some first timers!) decide on what they wanted. Ambiance: This place is casual, and intimate in a way. It's not a huge space but it's big enough for multiple groups to enjoy lunch or small families to have a sit-in dinner. I highly recommend this place as a stop on any commute between Charlotte and the Research Triangle Area.

Was a bit put off by the sight of only a few customers in such a large dining area, but it's lunch on an off day, so just go with it. The pizzas were arranged in a row under glass at the counter with a pretty wide selection. Your basic S&P, a white pizza with spinach, a Hawaiian looking pie, and a veggie pie. I went for a slice of the S&P as well as the spinach and feta with tomato. About 5-10 minutes later, I had my slices and sprinkled some crushed red pepper flakes on them for a little kick to the palate. All in all... good slices... flavorful, with good distinction of the spices in the sausage and pepperoni. The crust felt a little too much chew, but still held up the ingredients well and didn't leave any crumbs on the plate. I don't know if this is the best location... considering I'd never even heard of it, but will do my best to make it back over there to try some other pies.

My wife and I both ordered a half-serving of Casarecce pasta with the ragu sauce and meatballs. The pasta was obviously house made and cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was very flavorful and complimented the delicious meatballs perfectly. The half-serving turned out to be rather large and more than enough for lunch. For a Saturday lunch, the restaurant was surprisingly full. I thought that the restaurant had a great vibe and oozed personality, which was reinforced by our polite and efficient server. All in all, Antonia's offered up a very nice location for a leisurely lunch. Given the quality of the food and the overall experience, it was a very reasonable value. We will go back.

We were seated within 5 minutes and our server was attentive and nice. Cozy ambience with low romantic lighting. Great for a date. Love all the beautiful flowers in the outdoor garden near the entrance. Food was very tasty but also very rich and heavy. Portions are large so you may want to order a lunch portion if you're not bringing a huge appetite. My Chicken Parmagiano was delicious but 3 people could have split it (I wasn't super hungry). My partner's Alfredo (he added shrimp) was too oily for his taste, but it was good. We both felt sluggish and needed a nap after eating which is not our norm; we generally eat lighter dishes like salads. I wouldn't complain if this was just a one time thing, however it is most times. I ordered a pizza online. Took a while because driver couldn't find address. Wrong person's pizza was delivered to my address. Driver took it back from me and said he doesn't have any other pizzas in his car to my address or to my name. To make a long story short I called the store back multiple times. Got placed on hold multiple times. Got told manager is probably outside. Than with a customer. Than "probably on vacation". Another person told me pizza isn't in store and will be delivered in 10 minutes. Called back. Same roundabout, but this time story was changed that pizza was still in store. During all these conversations I was asked multiple times if I paid a tip and I said yes. Instead of just delivering the pizza, or re making it to deliver if they don't have it...they put the burden on me to go and find out, research the delivery person and his company to "fix" my issue. All I asked was to have my pizza delivered and they couldn't comprehend or make right a simple mistake someone made. It's incredibly frustrating that there are so many incompetent people in one place.
