Who thought to put BBQ on a salad?! I don't know, but it makes the Cobb Salad at Junction which is…read morethe best salad in the whole world in my opinion, and I have been to 29 countries and lived in 4. So when I say the "whole world", I mean it! Bre, one of the servers, and the rest of the staff always take good care of me. The room temperature is comfortable which is a biggie for me. It's a cozy place to hang with family or friends. They are known for their pizza and burgers, as well, but the Cobb Salad is my go to. It is reasonably priced and takes me 2 days to eat. It's love at first sight.

We tried this place for the first time. Not thrilled with it. The bathrooms were clean, the place…read morein general was clean. We waited longer to be seated than need be considering it was a virtually empty restaurant. Wait staff was walking around tending to the few tables, but we weren't greeted. Our waitress was nice/friendly, but not very attentive. All the wait staff were wearing (too short) shorts and T-shirts, looking like they just got back from the beach. Husband ordered a burger, medium, with fries. I ordered the ribs with chips and mac n cheese. The food came SUPER QUICK. From order to the time it came out, it couldn't have been more than FIVE minutes. Sadly, the food was just warm, and mediocre, AT BEST! Husbands burger was nearly raw. Sent it back. My ribs were almost cold by the time his replacement burger came out. It took at least ten minutes. This time, it was WELL DONE, and not even juicy. Rather than send it back, he ate it. He was hungry. My chips were over done, the mac n cheese was greasy and slightly clumpy. The ribs were tender, but somewhat mushy, and not super flavorful. I WOULD like to give it another try, hopefully it will be better next time.

One negative, otherwise great pizza, seating, restrooms etc…read more Everything is self-serve, when at cash register giving order and paying with card it asked for custom tip, 18%, and higher! This is a serve yourself, clear the table like a McDonalds. Requesting a tip upfront before receiving pizza and being self serving restaurant I found this over and above. Someone brings pizza to table when cooked. Otherwise it's on you. I spoke with the cashier about this and he said it was the owners thing. Seems like money grabbing to me to pay the bills. I think this will chill more customers than is worth it. Maybe not, maybe just me‍

Food and Drink: Mannnnn it has been over a decade since I had last this place and it brought back…read moreso many memories of my time in Mebane!! For dinner, I had the Johnson Club, onion rings, and sweet tea. The club was and still is one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. The amount of protein is plentiful, and the addition of the egg puts this over the top. The restaurant is a bakery so the bread used for the sub is soft and fresh. The onion rings were hot, had the perfect amount of crisp and they were not soggy like other places I've been to. Overall, I left with nostalgia and I am definitely looking forward to coming back! Customer Service: Upon arrival, the waitresses welcomed me in and invited me to sit anywhere. I was promptly tended to and my waitress was soooooo friendly!!! It's the southern charm and politeness I miss the most about North Carolina and neighboring areas. Already knowing the sandwich I wanted, I took her advice between the fries and onion rings and she didn't steer me wrong! I appreciate her work ethic and making sure that everyone in the dining room had what they needed and helping a few others (some first timers!) decide on what they wanted. Ambiance: This place is casual, and intimate in a way. It's not a huge space but it's big enough for multiple groups to enjoy lunch or small families to have a sit-in dinner. I highly recommend this place as a stop on any commute between Charlotte and the Research Triangle Area.

The guy at the checkout was a little curt while we were ordering. When I asked for a cups for water, he said they were $.75 each. Seriously? Not worth going out of your way to eat here.

I'll preface this by saying I honestly did not know Franco Pizzeria was here. I don't get over to…read morethis side of town often, but it popped up on my Yelp page as a suggestion, so I popped over there for a slice or two. Was a bit put off by the sight of only a few customers in such a large dining area, but it's lunch on an off day, so just go with it. The pizzas were arranged in a row under glass at the counter with a pretty wide selection. Your basic S&P, a white pizza with spinach, a Hawaiian looking pie, and a veggie pie. I went for a slice of the S&P as well as the spinach and feta with tomato. About 5-10 minutes later, I had my slices and sprinkled some crushed red pepper flakes on them for a little kick to the palate. All in all... good slices... flavorful, with good distinction of the spices in the sausage and pepperoni. The crust felt a little too much chew, but still held up the ingredients well and didn't leave any crumbs on the plate. I don't know if this is the best location... considering I'd never even heard of it, but will do my best to make it back over there to try some other pies.
