I partner up with a marketing agency to go and try this pizza restaurant out. First thing that I noticed when I enter it was the variety of options they have. The staff was very nice and they make our food service really satisfying. My husband and I ordered one that was everything about mushrooms I really don't remember the name but is delicious! They have a good variety for vegan and vegetarian . It's a little far from where we live but the drive was worth it for sure! If you live in or close to Burlington you must try it out! read more

The location is next to a newly constructed strip mall with easy access in and out. The decor is much like the other stores with a mural unique to the community they are in. Ordering is quick and easy and they build your pizza as you select the ingredients. The menu allows for pre-selected toppings on their featured pies or go crazy and create your own. We opted to create our own with each kid and adult customizing the pizza to their own tastes. Great food, great service! It's like the Subway of pizza places!! The pizza is so thin and crispy! You decide how much sauce, cheese and toppings! Unlimited toppings for the same price, no extra charge! They have great salads too! The atmosphere is cool, the place is brand new and very clean and there is outside seating! Mod pizza hires people that may not be able to get jobs elsewhere for whatever reason! The staff is new and definitely still learning the job but everyone is happy and greats you with a smile! Mod pizza has a warm and artful environment, they speak as soon as you walk in and they also explain the menu for first timers. Topping selection was pretty good, I wish places would get more turkey based products but their spicy chicken sausage DID NOT disappoint, it was just the right amount of spice. Both pizzas had white sauce and the thicker crust which was very good. The price was reasonable as well for the amount of food. 2 BYO 11in thick crust pizzas and one small and one large lemonade was $30. It's like the Subway of pizza places. Nothing really special. I've been a few times but this last time the guy put barely any cheese and said he couldn't add more. Even to the barely cheesy cheese bread. Said that it wouldnt cook??? I sat near the make line and watched him load people up do not sure why he was being so stingy with us. I recomendable going to a good pizzeria if you want pizza. There is one just a few blocks up the street. This place is like a pizza Subway. Crust is machine rolled. We have been here a few times and have always been very happy wother food and service. Today not so. The staff was so busy joking with each other and laughing that the crust was waaaaaay over cooked. My family and I went to MOD pizza tonight, located in the same plaza as Publix in Burlington, NC. As we approached the store, a man who was leaving, pizza in hand, asked if we had been there before. We hadn't. He said it was his third time in three days. He said it was the best pizza in town. We concur. All the staff greets you when you enter. You can customize your pizza or salad at no extra cost. Get as many toppings as you like, at no extra cost. There are over 40 to choose from. Toppings like artichoke hearts, bacon, bbq chicken, pesto, etc. There are several kinds of cheese to choose from, as well including feta, a family favorite. I got the mini (6") pizza, and my husband and daughter each got the 11", their largest, all at good prices. Their fountain drinks are bubbly and delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. And the pizza is delicious! Between the people and the music, it was a little loud, but we didn't care. We will be going back again and again, I'm sure. read more
