    Tiramisu

What has made them so popular is the variety of the tiramisu flavors they offer. Flavors vary from classic, matcha, pistachio, hazelnut, earl grey, mango passion fruit, black sesame and marsala. But the taste is just okay. On top of that, they offer gelato bars and semifreddo. Inside the store is nicely decorated with little cute decorative pieces. There's a small table with a few chairs if you want to sit down and enjoy your tiramisu. The staff was helpful and helped us choose what to order. We wanted to try their classic tiramisu and of course as a pistachio lover, we got pistachio tiramisu, too. They both tasted good.

We ordered the classic tiramisu for delivery and it was so good! The packaging is so cute, it makes for a great gift. It was my first time trying their tiramisu, it's smooth, creamy texture with the rich coffee flavour was a delicious balance! the mascarpone cheese was amazing, I'm hooked! Would love to try their other flavours including the pistachio or hazelnut next!

BEST TIRAMISU ALERT! I have been seeing this tiramisu @nonnalia all over my feed so had to give it a try. How many of you have tried and what do you think? I started with my personal favorite flavor pistachio and it was light, creamy & all their tiramisus are no alcohol! Next is hazelnut! Oh this tasted exactly like Ferrero rocher this is my favorite now. Bloody orange! Everyone around me liked this one as this was on a sweeter side. Overall 9/10! It is on an expensive side otherwise would have given 10/10 :). Service was quick. It's the best tiramisu my gf and I've had in Toronto. Those claims about "best tiramisu in Toronto" appear to be accurate. The cake was light, the mascarpone was so airy, the espresso penetrated the lady fingers so well (no pun intended lol). At $20 a pop for one tiramisu do I think it's worth it? Absolutely not haha. I get that it's a novelty dessert. But frankly, these containers should be no more than $15 (and that's already very steep for the size imo). I know they import their stuff over from Italy. If you are not a tiramisu aficionado and you don't need cream of the crop tiramisu, there are other options around. This will definitely beat your non-specialty, pastry-in-the-window, tiramisu. But I dare to say you might be able to find something just as fantastic inside a nice Italian resto somewhere in Toronto. The one bonus in their favour though, is that they're open until 9 pm at least. A lot of dessert places close too early around the GTA.

I was in the mood for cake that was light and creamy and thought of tiramisu. Yelped suggested Nonna Lia so we gave them a try and they didn't diss appoint! What we got: Pistachio Tiramisu Even though I would prefer a stronger espresso and pistachio taste, I still very much enjoyed it! Next time, I would get 2 instead of 1 so I don't have to share!

Seeing a lot of ads about this place? Well, me too and the pictures were enough to sending me rushing to try this. First visit with my mom, was pleasantly greeted by a young gentleman who took his time to explain the menu to us and mentioned that coffee comes with the order. All straight wins so far. Coffee was great and best enjoyed whilst seated in the cute dated nona's living room with books from 1920s. Rushing home, we couldn't wait to try the pistachio and Earl grey tiramisus. Both superb and I know many are wondering if it's worth $22 for the special flavors. The answer is a resounding yes. Not only is the quality great but when you factor in the coffee it really works out to be $18 a pop. Now, I'm hooked. I go back a second time with my partner who got lost in the books and offered to buy it. The store owner was so gracious and offered to lend it to my guy as long as he promised to return it. I digress. Back to the desserts. This time I got Hazlenut, mango and another pistachio bc it's my all time favorite along with the Earl grey. I would say least favorite is the mango but I would go back just for the staff. The second days I was helped by a young lady who was really pleasant to chat with. 10/10 will return.

This is the best tiramisu place in Toronto hands down, after trying so many different places over the years. The portion is a bit smaller than I expect for the price. For 20 bucks you get a tiny box with few bites but then again it is the best in the city. at the end of the day, it is worth every bite

Look no further, because you can get Authentic Tiramisu without hopping on a plane to Italy. Nonna Lia makes the best Tiramisu in Toronto. They also make cakes too! While keeping their original family recipe that has been passed through generations for more than 100 years, they've combined it with innovative flavours (8 to choose from) with a story behind each one. Their ingredients are imported from around the world and they use 0 additives and preservatives.

Was it delicious? Some yes, not all. For the price, they are small portions. I got three flavors: matcha, classic, and pistachio, to try it out with the family. The consensus was the classic was the best of the three. Once in a blue moon, yes, we see ourselves ordering this classic tiramisu again. For the other two, the flavors were a bit lacking, it wasn't as forward, especially the matcha. I heard the earl grey is really good, so I'd come back to try that flavor.

Really good quality tiramisu! Definitely nice and airy. This is cake you pick up once in awhile because of how steep the price is.

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. The only criticism I could have was it took a while to get our order. So, it's not one of those places you can be dipping into expecting to be done in 20mins! I stopped by Kream after seeing all the hype on Instagram about the famous Korean "Dubai…read morechocolate." When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!
